Brittany Higgins and David Sharaz's newborn baby undergoing surgery
Brittany Higgins has publicly revealed her newborn son with husband David Sharaz is currently in hospital undergoing surgery.
The ex-political staffer married Mr Sharaz in a lavish wedding on the Gold Coast last year and the newlyweds have recently relocated to Melbourne with their son Freddie.
Ms Higgins, 30, took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to reveal that her baby is 'having surgery' for an undisclosed condition.
'Our sweet Freddie is in hospital having surgery,' she wrote on Instagram.

'I've never been more grateful to live in Australia and have access to our world class public healthcare system.
'Huge thank-you to the doctors and nurses who are taking care of our little angel.'
The update comes just days after Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz shared their baby's full name for the first time on Easter Sunday.
Frederick's middle name, Leon, is reportedly a touching tribute to Ms Higgins' personal lawyer, Leon Zwier.

The high-priced solicitor is a well-known and highly respected Melbourne lawyer, known as Mr Fixit, from the prestigious firm Arnold Bloch Liebler.
Mr Zwier has been by the ex-Liberal staffer's side as Ms Higgins has navigated a criminal trial and two defamation cases since going public with her claim that Bruce Lehrmann raped her in Parliament House.
The lawyer was also by Ms Higgins' side when she collected a $2.4 million compensation payout from the Commonwealth over her then-employers' handling of the rape.
Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz were previously living in France in a home purchased by Ms Higgins in an effort to start afresh following intense media coverage in Australia.

However, the couple were forced to list their chateau in the south of France and returned to Australia, reportedly to fund legal fees in the ongoing Reynolds defamation case.
The 160 sqm three-bedroom, two-bathroom villa near Bergerac in Dordogne, France, was originally listed on a local real estate website for €420,000 (AU$682,820) before being reduced to €404,000 (AU$656,808).
As of Wednesday, the home is currently advertised for the bargain price of just €350,000 (AU$600,000).

Former prime minister Scott Morrison leads King's Birthday honours list
Your web browser is no longer supported. To improve your experience update it here Former prime minister Scott Morrison has been handed the highest recognition in this year's King's Birthday honours list. Morrison is one of 14 people to be made a Companion of the Order of Australia, along with the likes of film director Baz Luhrmann and his costume designer wife Catherine Martin, businesswoman Jennifer Westacott and former CSIRO chair Kathryn Fagg. "These honours recognise the selfless service, integrity, achievement, creativity, and care that flourish across our country," Governor-General Samantha Mostyn said. See the full list of award winners in the King's Birthday honours list below. "I see the values of care, kindness and respect in the many Australians who are honoured today, and in those who have been recognised throughout the 50-year history of our Australian honours system." Morrison was handed the honour "for eminent service to the people and parliament of Australia... to notable contributions to global engagement, to leadership of the national COVID-19 response, to economic initiatives, and to national security enhancements, especially through leadership of Australia's contribution to AUKUS". He served as prime minister from 2018, when predecessor Malcolm Turnbull was replaced in a Liberal leadership spill, until the Coalition lost the 2022 federal election. Under his leadership, the Liberals and Nationals were victorious in what was widely considered to be an unwinnable 2019 election, before the government formed the multibillion-dollar AUKUS pact with the United States and United Kingdom in which Australia is scheduled to receive nuclear-powered submarines. Scott Morrison, seen here in on election night in 2022, has been handed the highest award in this year's King's Birthday Honours list. () The nation also recorded one of the lowest fatality rates in the world from the COVID-19 pandemic during his time in power. However, Morrison also received significant criticism for some of his actions as prime minister, including his ill-timed family holiday to Hawaii during the Black Summer bushfires followed by the infamous "I don't hold a hose" comment, and the slow procurement of vaccines during the pandemic. Morrison was also social services minister when the robodebt scheme was created, and the royal commission into the program found he "failed" his responsibility and "allowed cabinet to be misled" – findings he rejected as "wrong, unsubstantiated and contradicted by clear documentary evidence". His biggest controversy though, didn't emerge until after he had lost the prime ministership, when in 2022 it was revealed he had secretly sworn himself into five ministries during the pandemic, most of which were done without the knowledge of the ministers already overseeing those portfolios. Catherine Martin and Baz Luhrmann have also both been made a Companion of the Order of Australia. (Getty) Since its inception in 1975, it has been customary for former prime ministers to have the Companionship of the Order of Australia bestowed upon them. Paul Keating is the only one to not hold the honour, having turned it down in 1997. Joining Morrison on the honours list this year are Luhrmann and Martin, the powerhouse couple of Australian film who were behind blockbuster hits including Romeo + Juliet , Moulin Rouge! and The Great Gatsby , as well as local classic Strictly Ballroom . Former Olympic medallist swimmer and ex-AFLW general manager Nicole Livingstone was made an Officer of the Order of Australia – the second-highest honour – as was principal Nine Entertainment shareholder Bruce Gordon. national Australia Politics government Scott Morrison CONTACT US

Iman marks what would have been 33rd wedding anniversary with David Bowie
Iman has marked what would have been her 33rd wedding anniversary with David Bowie. The 69-year-old model got hitched to the musician on 6 June in 1992 in a wedding ceremony held at St James' Episcopal Church in Florence, Italy. David, who died in 2016 aged 69 from liver cancer, married Iman after a two-year courtship that began with a blind date in 1990 and she has now shared a heartfelt message and a series of intimate photographs from their wedding day in Florence. The model posted on Instagram about the anniversary, writing over a dark background in bold yellow letters: 'My memory loves you; it asks about you all the time.' She captioned the post simply with 'Wedding Anniversary' and '#BowieForever'. Iman and David's relationship became one of music and fashion's most enduring love stories. In her commemorative posts, the model also shared black and white and colour images from their wedding day. One photo shows her resting her head on David's shoulder, their fingers intertwined. In another, Iman is captured in a white halter gown holding a bouquet as she prepares to walk down the aisle. Other images show David adjusting his suit in front of a candlelit altar adorned with crosses, and the couple smiling together at the same altar. Additional moments include the pair's first dance and a shot of them laughing beside a tiered wedding cake. In her caption, Iman wrote: 'Wedding Anniversary June 6th, 1992 Florence, Italy', tagging her wedding photographer Brian Aris. She also shared David's The Wedding Song to accompany the posts on her Instagram Stories. Iman and David were first legally married in a private ceremony on 24 April 1992 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Iman celebrated that date on Instagram earlier this year, writing: 'When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.' David proposed in Paris on the banks of the River Seine. In August 2000, the couple welcomed their daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones. In a 2021 interview with PEOPLE, Iman reflected on their bond following David's death. She said: 'I still feel married. Someone a few years ago referred to David as my late husband, and I said, 'No, he's not my late husband. He's my husband.' Through my memory, my love lives.'

Miley Cyrus reveals latest tattoo is tribute to her mum Tish
Miley Cyrus has revealed her latest tattoo is a tribute to her mother Tish Cyrus. The 32-year-old singer who has a range of body art has had the word 'muse' inked on her shoulder after describing her mum in the same way during an appearance at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Women's Luncheon in New York City. She was attending the event, held at the Greenwich Hotel Courtyard on 6 June, to celebrate the Through Her Lens programme. Speaking to People, Miley said about her new tattoo: 'It says 'muse'. And it's really for her, because my mom is my muse.' She added: 'My mom was going to get matching with me, but she was out of town.' Miley debuted the dainty new shoulder tattoo – inked by artist Michelle Santana at Bang Bang Tattoo – before the event via Instagram. The tattoo adds to her extensive collection of body art, which she recently spoke about in an interview with the New York Times, expressing mixed feelings about some of her older designs. 'A mistake that I made that I still think about is like 80 percent of my tattoos,' she said. Miley added: 'I don't regret them enough to laser them, but some of them, like... I mean I love my cat, but like, I didn't need that... there's just a few I could do without.' Miley's 'muse' tribute comes shortly after speculation circulated about a falling-out between her and Tish, 58, when it appeared the singer's mum had unfollowed her daughter on social media. Miley addressed the rumours in a statement on her Instagram Stories in May. 'I rarely comment on rumours, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us,' she wrote. Miley added: 'She's my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn't know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me — simple, coincidental, and uninteresting.' Tish later confirmed to People the unfollow was accidental, saying she had 'no idea how that happened' and had since corrected it. Reflecting on her priorities, Miley said: 'Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.' Miley also spoke about her upcoming visual album, Something Beautiful, which is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month. The project traces different periods of her life through film. Asked whether she viewed her life in eras, Miley told People: 'I don't see anything, I feel like, with a divide. 'I do love this flow of whatever is real in the moment totally is valuable and exists and that's what the movie is a celebration of is that everything gets to coexist in not a way that's lost but actually found.'
