For BLACKPINK's Rosé, Grammy win would be 'special' but does she have plans to explore acting next?

Pink Villa2 days ago

Rosé has had a fantastic year, and it's not even June yet. The singer achieved immense success with the release of his solo album Rosie, especially the song APT, which is a collaboration with Bruno Mars, and continues to rank on global music charts. Fans expect it to receive a Grammy Award nomination, so what does the singer think of it? Rosé reveals the happiness she would feel if she won it.
In an interview with DAZED Magazine, the BLACKPINK vocalist carefully spoke about being nominated and possibly winning a Grammy. Finally, finding the confidence to voice the thoughts, Rosé said, 'That would be incredible. But I think if it means more to my community, it'd be special. That's the first thing that I want, and whatever awards or celebration comes after it, that would feel extra-rewarding.'
Clearly, the Recording Academy has a strong contender to think about!
Will BLACKPINK member Rosé try acting?
Furthermore, the singer also dished about her plans to take on acting after achieving musical chart success. She would be the fourth and final one from the quartet to tackle the art after Jisoo's debut in Snowdrop, Jennie's in The Idol, and latest by Lisa in The White Lotus Season 3. Honestly, we think it's about time she puts her skills to the test– and possibly even ace it. The star, however, has a slightly different take, and she spoke about how it would provide her anonymity in the body of a character, something she has long been seeking: 'I would love to act, because I'll get to feel what it's like to be anonymous.' All hope is not lost, Rosé fans, we could soon have another acting debut on our hands.
While a Grammy win seems within reach for the singer, another big mountain stands in front of the team as the four-piece goes on a concert spree soon. The DEADLINE World Tour begins in under a month, with shows spanning Asia and North America. As per this interview, which seems to have been taken late April, the team had not begun rehearsals, however, fans are hoping the girls come prepared. With new BLACKPINK music on the way, there's a lot to look forward to!

Cardi B Reveals Name of Third Child, Accuses Offset of Being Absent Father

Cardi B has publicly revealed the name of her and Offset's third child while calling out her estranged husband for being largely absent from their children's lives. During a conversation on X (formerly Twitter) Spaces on Friday, the Grammy-winning rapper shared that Offset has only seen Blossom 'about five times' since her birth in September 2024. This marked the first time Cardi publicly confirmed their daughter's name, which she had previously hinted at by posting flower emojis in a hospital photo carousel last year. 'I've been trying to save your face,' Cardi said during the chat, expressing frustration over Offset's lack of involvement. 'I said you can see my kids in my house. I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad. He hasn't seen his kids since March.' The rapper, 31, claimed that Offset, 32, is welcome to visit their children anytime but has missed scheduled visits three times. The couple, who have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since marrying in September 2017, share two more children: daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3. In July, Cardi filed for divorce and confirmed pregnancy rumors the very next day. In August, she posted maternity photos with the caption, 'With every ending comes a new beginning,' crediting her baby girl for giving her 'renewed power.' Despite the split, she included Offset in her hospital photo set when Blossom was born, showing him cradling the newborn alongside Kulture and Wave. Offset also has three children from previous relationships: Jordan, 14, Kody, 9, and Kalea, 9. In 2022, he praised Cardi for being a loving stepmother, calling it a 'blessing' to have a wife who treats his other kids as her own. Meanwhile, Cardi has been seen spending time with NFL player Stefon Diggs. However, reports suggest she is upset with Diggs following a video showing him handing out a pink substance to women at a party.

Ariana Grande to star opposite Robert De Niro in ‘Meet the Parents 4'

Months after earning an Oscar nomination for her performance in Wicked, pop star Ariana Grande has finally found her next project. The Grammy-winning singer is set to join Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in the newest instalment of Universal's comedy movie series, Meet the Parents 4, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to sources, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, who also starred in the initial trio of movies released during the first decade of the 2000s, are expected to return, although those deals have yet to close. John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three prior films, wrote the screenplay for the new feature and is set to direct. Universal has set the release date for the film for November 25, 2026. The conceit of the first movie was simple: the universal life event of having your future father-in-law give his blessing to a marriage proposal. Combining combustible chemistry in a bottle with spot-on directing, the movie became a commercial and critical hit when it was released in 2000. While much of the plot details remain under wraps, it has been revealed that one point revolves around the son of Stiller and Polo's characters, who gets engaged to a ball-busting woman who seems all wrong for him. Sources say Grande will play the fiancee. Jane Rosenthal and De Niro are producing through their Tribeca Productions. Roach will produce through his Delirious Media.
