Ahmedabad: Several areas of the city received light showers on Tuesday afternoon. The respite, however, was for a short duration and soon gave way to hot and humid conditions. Amreli had the highest maximum temperature at 39.7 degrees celsius, followed by Rajkot at 39.4 degrees celsius and Kandla at 39 degrees celsius. For the majority of cities and towns, the minimum temperatures remained around 26 to 29 degrees celsius.
