RuPaul Drag Race winner outrages fans with sick slur about late star Jiggly Caliente
RuPaul's Drag Race fans are furious with the show's former winner, Tyra Sanchez, after they made a shocking slur about Jiggly Caliente, who sadly died this week. Tyra also posted shocking slurs about fellow Drag Race star, The Vivienne, who tragically died in January RuPaul's Drag Race winner Tyra Sanchez has infuriated fans after sharing a shocking comment about late star Jiggly Caliente. Jiggly, also known as Bianca Castro, sadly died this week, aged 44, after having their leg amputated following a serious infection. Tyra, whose birth name is James William Ross, 37, has got form offending the drag community after they made a series of vile comments about UK Drag Race star, The Vivienne, who tragically died this year. After sharing sick slurs about the Dancing On Ice star on social media, RuPaul shared a clip of himself slapping Tyra in a sketch from the Emmy-award-winning series, which they won back in 2010. Despite the backlash against them, Tyra is on the hate train again, this time taking to X posting a a meme of themselves leaning against a tombstone with Jiggly's date of birth and death with the inscription: "Here lies she who came for me". Tyra cruelly captioned the post, which also features pictures of Jiggly: "Mwauh!… NO LEG." The vile content has outraged fans, with many replying to Tyra's post, telling them what they thought of them. One fumed: "Evil f*****g clown, scum of the earth!" Another raged: "I could've predicted you would pop up today, you insufferable little b**h. Your entire personality is made up of being an evil c**ton the internet. I just know you're giddy with your phone notifications blowing up right now. You're PATHETIC and I wish you nothing but the worst." Meanwhile, a third said: "Oh look, here comes the insensitive bitch begging for attention again. Crawl back to your cave" as a fourth shared: "I do feel sorry for you, because from now on, people will remember you as a harmful, conniving person instead of a drag superstar that we *thought* you were. your only legacy in this world is nothing but hatred. i do not wish anyone to grow up to be the person that you are." Tyra, who retired from drag in 2020 before announcing the Tyra comeback tour in 2023, left fans outraged in January after posting horrific tweets about The Vivienne, who they spat was now "rotting". The Vivienne, real name James Lee Williams, tragically died aged 32 in January, leaving the show's fans and the community shocked. However, Tyra appeared to be anything but saddened by the terrible news and within hours took to social media. First, the drag artist quote-tweeted The Vivienne's 2020 post, which took a playful swipe at them. The original tweet read: "Bet Tyra was fuming when she realised Netflix spoiled the win too. Sorry gal. You tried though". Tyra's response to James' death read: "Yet it doesn't compare to the fumes of the crematorium." However, they didn't stop there, and returned to write: "She's dead. Rotting. Sending me all the hate in the world won't bring her back. But do as you must. Because of you the tweet has reached over 25k individuals. Thanks for the much needed attention that I oh so desperately needed." Fellow drag queen Kandy Muse, real name Kevin Gabriel Candalario, responded and wrote, 'I've defended you for years but now you can absolutely go f*** yourself and if our path were to ever cross it's absolutely on sight bitch, it's not a threat it's a promise. you disgusting person.' Other users waded in and slammed the former winner. "You're mentally unstable and need help. How dare you be so vile and disgusting after a queen passing, your heart is stone cold," one wrote, while someone else said: "You can only dream about having as many people adore you as she had. You won't be missed like she will be."
