Flooding, storm damage in Northwest Arkansas following early morning storms
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (KNWA/KFTA) — Storms in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley early the morning of June 7 brought flooding and storm damage to multiple counties. The Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) reported multiple following roads were affected by flooding. To read the full list, click here. 'We've received reports of some flooding and trees down, and a couple of people were caught in the rising water,' WSCO said in a Facebook post. The post also said a person was in the process of being rescued by WC-USAR at around 8 a.m. Flooding was also reported in Benton County at Dawson Road, Leonard Ranch Road, Clarry Road, Fisher Ford Rd, State Line Road, Easterling Rd and Dale Shrader Road. DES MOINES, Iowa — Clouds and, in some areas, showers have kept temperatures cooler Saturday than on Friday. We'll continue to see slight rain chances the next couple of days.
