In the latest episode of Laughter Chefs season two,
Ankita Lokhande
and Vicky Jain found themselves in a brief but tense exchange during a cooking challenge. According to the episode, the disagreement began when Vicky expressed concern over Ankita's cooking method, telling her that she was not using the correct technique.
He was seen growing visibly irritated and remarked, 'Pagal ho chuki hai tu.'
Ankita, who appeared taken aback, quickly retorted, 'Pagal kahin ka.' When Vicky questioned why she was calling him 'pagal,' she pointed out that he had used the term first. 'Tu mujhe pagal bola pehle. Maine nahi bola. Pagal ho gaye hai tu bola,' she said in her defence.
Attempting to de-escalate the moment, Vicky asked her to remain calm, saying, 'Itna hyper hone ki zaroorat hai?' Ankita responded that he was the one getting worked up, stating, 'Aap ho rahe hai.'
The exchange continued briefly as Vicky tried to explain his point, adding, 'Tu galat kar rahe hai, dekh nahi rahe.'
The couple, who married in 2021, have been associated with the cooking-comedy reality show since its first season. Their playful disagreements have been a recurring element of the series, often endearing them to the audience.
In a previous episode, Ankita jokingly claimed that she and Vicky were expecting their first child.

Japanese crowd vibes to Tunak Tunak Tun in a 'civilised manner'. Video goes viral

A video of a group of Japanese people vibing politely to the beats of Daler Mehndi's high-energy Punjabi classic Tunak Tunak Tun at the World Expo in Osaka has delighted the internet. The now-viral video shows a stage performance led by a Punjabi singer and accompanying dancers, while the Japanese audience responds with quiet head bobs and gentle claps - a stark contrast to the usual foot-stomping energy the song evokes in India. Shared by X user Jahazi, the video was captioned: ' Japanese log Punjabi songs pe bhi itne civilised way mein vibe karte hain (Japanese people even vibe to Punjabi songs in such a civilised way).' Watch the video here: Social media users, meanwhile, admired the composed response of the Japanese audience at the event. 'Most civilised country for a reason,' a user said. Several users also celebrated the moment as an example of music's global reach — and Japan's signature politeness, even on the dance floor. - Ends

Johnny Lever SLAMS Modern Comedians For Vulgarity: ‘No Aukaat To Stand Before Us'

Johnny Lever criticizes today's comedians and actors for relying on vulgar jokes and Hollywood-style humour. He says real talent lies in clean comedy. Veteran comedian Johnny Lever, a name synonymous with clean, family-friendly humour for over four decades, has expressed his concern over the increasing reliance on vulgarity and double entendre in both films and stand-up comedy today. In a candid interview with actress Kunickaa Sadanand on her YouTube channel, Lever shared his disappointment with the shifting sensibilities in Indian comedy, blaming the growing influence of Hollywood and the erosion of cultural nuance. 'People are freely abusing today because of Hollywood films," Lever observed. 'In the West, it's common to use foul language and make crass jokes, and now our actors and comedians are copying that. They've developed a habit. They only watch English films now." Kunickaa echoed his sentiment, noting, 'A lot of them don't even know Hindi properly anymore." Lever, who has acted in over 300 films across a career that spans generations, believes that this unfiltered comedic style has become the norm rather than the exception. 'They pick up exact things from Hollywood, thinking, 'Chal jayega, kya farq padta hai.' That's how double meaning jokes have become so common." Turning his critique toward the current stand-up comedy scene, Lever didn't mince words. 'Most of today's stand-up content is full of double meanings. But when we were trained in the craft, we were taught never to take that route. If we start speaking double meaning, these new guys won't even be able to stand before us. But we never chose that path." In a pointed remark that seemed both a challenge and a call for introspection, Lever added, 'If they are really talented, I challenge them—say something clean and still make people laugh. That is the real test. I'm not saying they're bad, people are enjoying their content. But I have a family audience. I have to be answerable to that." He also took pride in the fact that his daughter, Jamie Lever, who has carved her own space in the comedy world, upholds the same values. 'She does solo shows too and doesn't rely on vulgarity," he said with evident pride. Ironically, Lever's latest screen appearance was in the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise, a film that drew criticism for its heavy use of innuendos and over-the-top crass humour—an unfortunate alignment with the very trend he critiques. Super Dancer Chapter 5: Contestant Shanky's tearful tribute to his ailing mother as she joins me through a video call

The stage of Super Dancer Chapter 5 has always been filled with electrifying performances, but some moments go beyond entertainment — they touch the soul. One such deeply emotional moment will come from contestant Shankal Gupta, affectionately known as Shanky, whose performance became a tribute to his ailing mother. This season, the show celebrated mothers by inviting them to perform alongside their children. But for Shanky, the moment turned bittersweet as his mother, Seema, couldn't be present on set due to health concerns. Despite her absence, her spirit and love were very much felt — thanks to a surprise video call arranged by the production team. Shanky's father stepped in to perform with him, and as the two danced, Seema watched with moist eyes on the call. 'I'm happy that Shanky's father is performing in my place,' Seema said, fighting back tears. 'All the mothers are performing, only I am not there with Shanky. I am feeling very upset. I wish I could have been there.' In response, judge Geeta Kapur shared a message of warmth and reassurance: 'You are very much here with us. We all are praying for your speedy recovery so you can soon join us on the show.' Turning his vulnerability into strength, Shanky delivered a powerful, heartfelt performance that moved everyone present. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 21st Century Skills Start with Confident Communication Planet Spark Learn More Undo The judges — Geeta Kapur, Shilpa Shetty, and Marzi Pestonji — praised not only his talent but also the emotional depth he brought to the stage.
