At Coldplay's recent concert in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, Football legend Lionel Messi was in attendance with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo and their three sons.
Coldplay concerts are known for enthralling music, glowing wristbands and moments that strike a chord with the fans. Just over a week after a candid moment featuring former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company's HR head, Kristin Cabot, took a scandalous turn, the British band featured another couple and it was Lionel Messi with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo.
At the band's recent concert in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, Football legend Lionel Messi was in attendance with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo and their three sons, turning it into a magical family night out under the stars.
It was during the performance when fans swayed to Coldplay's songs that the camera landed on Messi and Antonela and the adorable couple smiled, waved and looked totally in love with each other.
Chris Martin, then, stopped mid-performance to sing, 'Well, Leo, my beautiful brother. You and your wife are looking so fine. Thanks for coming today to see our band play. The No. 1 sports person of all time."
The crowd, all excited to watch the legend, began chanting 'Messi! Messi' and created a wholesome moment at the stadium, a perfect football-meets-music moment.

The Internet Reacts
Well, the internet didn't miss a beat as fans immediately drew comparisons between the earlier scandal and the latest family moment. 'Messi was like, this is my wife, not catching me slippin', Coldplay," joked one user.
Another teased, 'Why are they wearing the same clothes," referring to the matching outfits of Byron and Cabot. Someone else posted, 'Make sure you bring the actual wife to that Coldplay concert. W Messi."
Others were simply in awe of the moment as they shared their heartwarming reactions.
A person wrote, 'Messi vibing to Coldplay is the crossover I didn't know I needed."
Another Internet user added, 'Coldplay at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami – and look who showed up on the screen! What a night. Music, lights, Messi and love."
Someone else reacted, 'Messi at a Coldplay concert is the most peaceful crossover since bread met butter."
The rare moment caught on cam was a sweet reminder of why music and love always steal the spotlight at the end.

Lando Norris holds off McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri to win F1 Hungarian Grand Prix

Sometimes, a Formula 1 win is less about speed than strategy and gritty driving. Lando Norris held off McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri in a tense finish to win the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday (August 3, 2025) and boost his title chances. Overtaking in Hungary is tough, but Norris had to work hard to keep the win as Piastri loomed behind him in the final laps. Norris celebrated with a double fist pump on top of his car after claiming McLaren's 200th F1 win by less than a second to cut Piastri's standings lead to nine points from 16. 'I'm dead. It was tough, it was tough,' Norris said. 'The final stint, with Oscar catching, I was pushing flat out.' It was the fourth one-two finish in a row for McLaren, with Norris winning three of those head-to-heads as the momentum swung back toward him ahead of the four-week midseason break. Making the right callA year on from a contentious first win for Piastri over Norris in Hungary after awkward radio messages, this was a race decided on the track. Norris briefly dropped to fifth on the first lap but made his tires last to stop only once, while Piastri changed tires twice. Piastri steadily cut into Norris' lead in the latter stages of the race but the British driver held on with old tires to take the win. Piastri nearly collided with his teammate when he locked up a wheel while trying to pass on the second-to-last lap. Still, it was Norris who held on to have the last word in their title fight. 'Good racing. Good strategy. Good call,' was how Norris summed it up on the radio. Piastri's two-stop approach happened because, at the time, he and McLaren were more focused on getting ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, whose pace eventually fell away anyway. 'It wasn't obvious that we just had enough pace to blow past (Leclerc),' Piastri said. 'For Lando, there was virtually nothing to lose by trying a one-stop race. For myself, potentially there was." George Russell took third for Mercedes after fighting his way past Leclerc in a contest that earned Leclerc a time penalty for nearly colliding with Russell while defending. Defending champion Max Verstappen was only ninth after being off the pace all week. He stays third in the standings, but drops to 97 points off leader Piastri in another heavy blow to an already unlikely title defense. Ferrari frustrationLeclerc started on pole position with hopes of landing Ferrari its first Grand Prix win of the year, but ended up fourth after a radio message of what he later admitted was misplaced blame aimed at the team. 'This is so incredibly frustrating. We've lost all competitiveness,' he told the team over the radio. However, he later told broadcaster Sky Sports that the car actually had a chassis problem he only learned about later. A day after calling himself 'useless' and questioning whether Ferrari might need to replace him, Lewis Hamilton ended up 12th, exactly where he started. His comments after the race seemed set to fuel more speculation about his troubled first season with the Italian team. 'There's a lot going on in the background that is not great,' Hamilton told Sky Sports, without explaining further. Hamilton never seemed to have the pace to fight for points and was at one stage forced off the track by Verstappen as his old rival overtook him. Aston's dayFernando Alonso took Aston Martin's best result of the season with fifth on a slow track that suited his car, with Gabriel Bortoleto a surprise sixth for Sauber and Lance Stroll seventh in the other Aston Martin. Liam Lawson was eighth for Racing Bulls, with Verstappen ninth and Kimi Antonelli 10th for Mercedes.

Soccer-Tottenham's Son bids emotional farewell in S.Korea, Maddison suffers knee injury

SEOUL (Reuters) -Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min played what is expected to be his final match for the club in front of 64,773 fans at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sunday, and teammate James Maddison was carried off with a knee injury. HT Image The 33-year-old Son, who is under contract until 2026, is set to leave Spurs after a decade. He led Spurs to their first trophy in 17 years with their win over Manchester United in the Europa League final in May. Sunday's friendly against Newcastle United ended 1-1, with Spurs forward Brennan Johnson scoring in the fourth minute and Newcastle winger Harvey Barnes equalising in the 38th. Son was substituted off in the 65th minute for new signing Mohammed Kudus. Son received a guard of honour from both Spurs and Newcastle players, along with a warm ovation from the crowd, as he bade a teary farewell. He is expected to stay in South Korea while the rest of the Spurs players fly to London. "At first, I really didn't think I was going to cry. But obviously, it is not easy leaving a team I've spent so much time with," Son said. "And hearing from all these players made me really emotional. I've had an unforgettable day thanks to all the fans, my teammates and my opponents. I feel so happy that I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. "My career is not over yet, and I want to continue to bring (the fans) joy. I know I have more things I want to accomplish as a football player." Son joined the north London club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and though he did not disclose his next destination, British media have linked him with a move to Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. "Unbelievable scenes for Son from his teammates and the respect from the Newcastle players," Spurs manager Thomas Frank said. "First we had the walkaround and then the teammates gathered around and he was emotional. In the changing room it was more of the same... It was beautiful." Newcastle manager Eddie Howe said, "The reaction was instinctive from my players. It's not just his talent but the way he has carried himself over the years. I think he's seen as one of the game's great Premier League players." Maddison came on in the 75th minute but went down off the ball, clutching his knee, and appeared to be in considerable discomfort. The 28-year-old England international was taken off on a stretcher around the 86th minute. "We're pretty sure it was the same knee he injured before. I think sometimes in life and football things can be both beautiful and brutal," Frank said. Maddison suffered an injury to the same knee in May and missed the final part of last season. The club later announced the loan signing of midfielder Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old, who previously played in the Premier League for Fulham, joins until the end of next season with an option to make the move permanent. Athletics-Hughes completes sprint double with 200m victory at UK Championships

By Lori Ewing HT Image MANCHESTER, England, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Zharnel Hughes stormed to victory in the men's 200 metres at the UK Athletics Championships on Sunday in Birmingham to complete the sprint double and secure a spot in that event at next month's World Championships in Tokyo. Hughes, who won the 100m on Saturday, clocked 19.90 seconds to break the competition record, becoming the first runner to duck under the 20-second barrier at a British championship. "Winning the 100m yesterday was pretty cool, but I wanted the 200m title more," Hughes said. "My coach will get me a lot sharper for the Championships - I'm excited to see what I can do in Tokyo." Dina Asher-Smith held off newly-crowned 100m champion Amy Hunt to win a women's 200m that was determined by a photo finish, with both clocking 22.14, also a championship record. "It was an excellent race, we needed a photo-finish because neither of us knew who had won," Asher-Smith said. "But I am happy to come here and run a low-22, it is a fantastic time." Daryll Neita, who was disqualified for a false start in Saturday's 100m -- but is still eligible to race that distance in Tokyo, according to UK Athletics -- was third in 22.30, to secure the 200m world qualifying time. Max Burgin won the men's 800m in a fast 1:43.92, while Olympic 1500m bronze medallist Georgia Hunter Bell clocked 1:59.53 to win her first British women's 800m title. Hunter Bell is undecided whether she will run the 800m or 1500m or both in Tokyo. "How cool would it be to follow in the footsteps of the great British athletes like Seb Coe, Kelly Holmes, Steve Cram, who did double up, and were successful – it's hard to decide," she said. World 1500m champion Josh Kerr moved up to the 5,000m and raced to victory in 13:44.73. "It was always going to be tough out there over the last mile but I really enjoyed the first eight laps," Kerr said. "That was fun."
