Ariana Madix reveals why she keeps cosmetic treatments 'to a minimum'
Ariana Madix tries to keep cosmetic treatments "to a minimum".
The 39-year-old reality star - who recently underwent her "first laser treatment" - revealed while she has Botox "every sixth months or so", she still tries to keep things low key as her 40th birthday approaches on June 24.
She told PageSix's 'Virtual Reali-Tea' podcast: "I've been very interested in that [laser treatment] for a long time.
"I keep things at a minimum."
Ariana insisted her decision isn't simply down to "fine lines" on her skin.
She explained: "I just got a little bit [of Botox] in my lips because they were getting really crusty on the inside.
"I never go more than 0.5 at a time ... Because I never want to look crazy...
'Fine lines, I don't give a s*** about, but skin laxity is something I've been dealing with."
However, she would never undergo facial fillers, as she's been advised she doesn't "have the structure to support it".
The former 'Vanderpump Rules' star said: "That's why we started on the lasers. So I will report back after I've had all the thing."
Her health and beauty regime includes drinking "insane amounts of water" every day - around 100 ounces - as well as regular workouts at the gym.
Despite acknowledging that how she ages "does matter" to her, she doesn't "want to be preoccupied" with it to an unhealthy level, despite "a lot of pressure" from the industry.
She said: "At the same time, if you feel good about doing something, go ahead and do it. At the end of the day, it's nobody's business.
'I am in a position where that stuff does matter, but I also know … I'm going to get older no matter what.
"If you don't age, you just die. I'd rather be aged than dead."
Last summer, the 'Love Island USA' host opened up on the work she'd had done after an Instagram follower shared before and after photos of her while speculating about the procedures she's undergone.
She replied: "I'll tell you what i've had! you're partially correct... tox in 11's, outer brow, and my neck. Ellevate for my neck in 2019 by @theneckdoctor.
"Minimal lip filler bc my face is too small to handle very much and filler in my chin.
'absolutely no filler anywhere else and def no bleph yet... hope this helps! i'll keep yall posted if i do anything else.'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh debuts new moniker after dropping dad's last name
Shiloh Jolie has entered a new era. The daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, 19, appeared at the launch of Isabel Marant's capsule collection with Net-A-Porter Thursday in Los Angeles — and she dropped a new moniker for the occasion. In a press release obtained by Page Six, Shiloh was credited as choreographer for an original dance number at the event — but she was listed as 'Shi Joli,' a moniker that pays homage to her famous mother while shortening her legal name. The dance featured dancers Tako Suzuki and Keoni Rose and was accompanied by singer Luella's performance of 'Naïve.' The event, described as an 'intimate sunset dinner,' was held at Schindler's Oliver House in the Los Angeles enclave of Silver Lake. A-listers including Milla Jovovich, Alison Brie, January Jones, Rachel Bilson, and more were in attendance at the soirée. Shiloh, who is frequently spotted heading to dance class in Los Angeles, famously requested to drop her father's last name on her 18th birthday in May 2024 — a change that was made official in August. After a judge signed off on the ruling, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt legally became Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. She was said to have done the legwork on her own — without involving the 'Eternals' actress. 'Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn't know and can't speak for it,' a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. In a July statement to Page Six, Shiloh's attorney Peter Levine said in part that the teen made 'an independent and significant decision following painful events' in dropping 'Pitt' from her last name. Shiloh isn't the only of her famous siblings to have dropped the name following their parents' split and bitter divorce, which was finalized in December 2024 after an eight year battle. When Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 20, declared herself at Alpha Kappa Alpha's sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College in 2023, she shouted, 'Zahara Marley Jolie' in video of the event that circulated via social media. Amid the famous actors' custody dispute in 2021, a source claimed to Us Weekly that their oldest child, Maddox, 'doesn't use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren't legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn't support.' Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, who wed in 2014, welcomed Shiloh on May 27, 2006, and her twin siblings Knox and Vivienne on July 12, 2008. Pitt officially adopted Jolie's adopted children Maddox, 23, and Zahara in 2005, and Pax, 21, in 2006. The 'F1' actor was said to have been 'aware and upset' when Shiloh legally dropped his last name. 'He's never felt more joy than when she was born,' an insider told People in June 2024. 'He always wanted a daughter.' 'The reminders that he's lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad,' they continued. 'He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad.' In May, Pitt broke his silence on finalizing the high-profile divorce from Angelina. When asked by GQ if he experienced 'relief,' he said, 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally,' he told the outlet. Originally published as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh debuts new moniker after dropping dad's last name

Tragedy as Parks And Recreation actor shot dead after home destroyed by fire
Jonathan Joss, known for his role as Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation and as the voice behind John Redcorn in King of the Hill, was killed in a San Antonio shooting on Sunday. A suspect, 56-year-old Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, was taken into custody and booked on a murder charge, the San Antonio Police Department said. Officers were dispatched to Dorsey Drive around 7pm Sunday for a shooting and arrived to find the actor, whose legal name is Jonathan Joss Gonzales, near the roadway after he was shot, police said. Authorities attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived and pronounced Joss, 59, dead. Joss's family home in San Antonio was destroyed in a fire in January. An online fundraiser stated three of his dogs had been killed in the fire and raised more than $10,000. Joss was shot while collecting mail with his husband, Tristan Kern De Gonzales, from their burnt-out home, according to an online statement. 'A man started yelling homophobic slurs at us, he then raised a gun from his lap and fired,' Kern De Gonzales said. 'When the man fired, Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.' Jonathon Joss's husband, Tristan Kern De Gonzales, released a statement on social media. Credit: Instagram Joss's husband said he had allegedly been killed by someone who 'could not stand the sight of two men loving each other', and implied that the same targeted homophobia had earlier resulted in someone allegedly burning down their house. 'I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved,' Kern De Gonzales said. 'To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.' Joss was the voice of John Redcorn in the Fox animated series from seasons 2 through 13. John Redcorn was a 'New Age healer' and masseur, who was always addressed by his full name or Mr Redcorn. A new season of King of the Hill is set to debut on Hulu in August. In a credit sequence shared Friday, John Redcorn is seen driving by in his classic tan Jeep. Joss also played recurring character Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation, and had roles in Tulsa King and the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven. His most recent acting credit was in 2023 for voicing a character in the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty video game. Joss told local reporters then that he did not have a job. Representatives and family of Joss could not immediately be reached for comment.

Jesus Guerrero's cause of death revealed
Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero died of severe pneumonia. The stylist - who worked with the likes of Kylie Jenner, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa and Jennifer Lopez - passed away in February, aged 34, and the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has now confirmed his cause of death. A report from the Medical Examiner shows that Guerrero contracted a lung infection called Cryptococcosis prior to passing away. The report also cited Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome - a life-threatening condition caused by HIV - as a secondary cause of death. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome can lead to a weakened immune system. Guerrero's manner of death is stated as natural. The stylist worked with a host of big-name celebrities during his career, and Jennifer Lopez - one of his former clients - previously took to social media to pay a glowing tribute to him. Alongside a black-and-white photograph of the celebrity hairstylist, Jennifer wrote on Instagram: "Jesus "It's no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room. You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did. I've been having trouble putting the words together the last few days. The truth is I'm still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. "I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel… [broken-heart emoji] (sic)" Scott Barnes, Jennifer's make-up artist, also took to social media to pay tribute to the stylist. Alongside a tribute video, Scott wrote Instagram: "I can't believe I was just working with him in Dubai and now he's gone. Many prayers to his family during this time."
