A MAN has been found dead at an iconic hotel in a major UK city.
Officers raced to the scene at 1.30pm and discovered the body of a 30-year-old man.

A body has been found at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said in a statement: "We can confirm that emergency services are currently at a hotel in Liverpool city centre.
"At around 1.30pm today (Friday 23 May) officers were called to the Adelphi Hotel, on Ranelagh Street, after the body of a man aged in his 30s was found."
"The death is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a file is in the process of being prepared for the coroner.
"His next of kin have been informed."
The emergency services arrived at the hotel with a forensic team and a full police squad, who spoke with guests at reception.

Their feud went public on Thursday night as both men used their own social media platforms — X and Truth Social — to insult each other. Mr Musk, 53, turned on the US leader, calling his Congressional spending bill a 'disgusting abomination' on Wednesday. The child was just one day old when they died at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire. The tot's gender and mother's condition has not been disclosed following the death behind bars on October 16, 2023. It was confirmed by the Prison and Probations Ombudsman after featuring in its latest Independent Investigations Annual Report. Ombudsman Adrian Usher said: 'We are saddened to confirm that the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman are investigating the death of a baby. 'We offer our sincerest condolences to the family.' The newborn was among 292 deaths inside prisons in 2023/24, according to the report. A final investigation report will be published by the PPO after the inquest has finished. Three babies have now died in the English prison system in the last five years following deaths at HMP Bronzefield in 2019 and HMP Styal in 2020.
