UAE President welcomes Russia's First Deputy PM

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Manturov conveyed to His Highness the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin, along with his best wishes for the UAE's continued progress.
In turn, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his greetings to His Excellency President Putin, expressing his hopes for further development and prosperity for Russia and its people.
During their meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the two discussed growing UAE-Russia ties and ways to advance shared interests, benefiting both nations and their peoples. The discussions took place within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging views on various topics.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and a number of officials.

Mr Rubio and Sheikh Abdullah appeared briefly in front of cameras but did not take any questions. Mr Rubio later said that he and Sheikh Abdullah worked to sustain momentum from Mr Trump's "historic visit" to Abu Dhabi. "We discussed economic opportunities, regional security, and humanitarian efforts to mark the growing partnership between the United States and the UAE," Mr Rubio said on X. Mr Landau said in a statement that during Monday's meeting with Ms Nusseibeh, the two discussed security, stability and prosperity in the Middle East as well as a path to ending the conflict in Sudan.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed asked His Excellency to convey his own greetings to the Emir, expressing his sincere wishes for ongoing development for Qatar and its people. His Highness and the Qatari Prime Minister discussed the close relations between the two countries and various aspects of their cooperation. They affirmed their shared commitment to strengthening collaboration for the benefit of both nations. The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on recent developments. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of the Accession to the Throne Day. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also dispatched similar messages to King Abdullah II on the occasion. Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates have sent separate congratulatory messages to King Abdullah on the occasion of the Accession to the Throne Day.
