The director finally called "cut" on Part 1 of the epic late Monday night. There by his side were leading men,
Ranbir Kapoor
and Ravi Dubey.
The actors, who are cast as Lord Ram, and Laxmana, were seen hugging each other tightly after the final scene was filmed.
In videos doing the rounds online, Ranbir and Ravi joined the team for a cake-cutting ceremony, where their director Tiwari, also gave a moving speech, earning hoots and cheers from his team.

Amidst an 'emotional and electric" atmosphere, Ranbir was also seen taking up the microphone and delivering a speech for the cast and crew, after which, they broke into applause.
This update comes just as buzz about the makers getting ready to drop the first glimpse of the film began doing the rounds online. Although several photos and videos have leaked from the sets, fans have not yet seen an official post or picture from the film, barring the fiery movie posters.
Ramayana has been one of the most closely watched projects in recent years, both for its scale and for its ensemble cast. Alongside Ranbir and Ravi, the film reportedly stars
