The story is set in the fictional village of Odela in Telangana, where the malevolent spirit of a serial rapist, Tirupati, continues to terrorize the community even after his death.
Following a ritual gone wrong, Tirupati's soul transforms into a vengeful spirit, possessing men and resuming his horrific crimes. Bhairavi, who has spent years in ascetic devotion chanting "Om Namah Shivaya," returns to protect her village from this evil.
The film also features Hebah Patel reprising her role from the first installment, alongside a strong supporting cast. While the original 'Odela Railway Station' was praised for its realistic portrayal of crime and suspenseful storytelling, 'Odela 2' has supernatural horror with mythology, which included something new to the franchise.
