Among kids, rakhis based on superhero characters are a big hit. A shopkeeper near IT College said, "Children are mostly buying bands with figures of Iron Man, Hulk Hogan, Captain America and Batman. At the same shop, Tanmay Khare (12), said, "Avengers is my favourite movie, especially Captain America, so I picked up a rakhi with the character."
Personalised gift hampers containing pouch, purse, perfume, bracelet, necklace, assorted chocolates, key chain, earrings, gel candles, photoframes, small mirrors and rings are another item flying off the shelves. Arjun Kapoor pushes Farah Khan aside to meet her cook Dilip, he fails to recognise actor: ‘Sir, aap mera shot kha gaye'
Ahead of Rakshabandhan, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan visited the house of Bollywood siblings Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor along with her longtime cook Dilip. While Dilip expressed excitement to meet them, he embarassed Farah when he failed to recognise the actor. Farah Khan's latest vlog started with Arjun Kapoor arriving a little late and Farah Khan herself getting the door. Before, she could put a mic on him, he pushed her aside to meet Dilip and hugged him tight. He hugged and told Dilip: 'Main apka bahaut bada fan hu! (I am a huge fan of yours)'. A disappointed Farah says, 'What the hell is this?' Farah then pointed towards Arjun Kapoor and asked Dilip, 'Who is this?' A confused Dilip struggled to recognise him, prompting Arjun Kapoor to say, 'He pulled an Amitabh Bachchan. He did a hain!' Farah then helped him recall: 'Didn't you just say his name when we were on our way to his house?' Dilip then said, 'Yeah, Arjun Kapoor!' When she asked him 'What's ma'am's name?' He again struggled to remember her name, leaving everyone in splits. ALSO READ | 'Parveen Babi started crawling in the hotel…': How actor was replaced by Rekha in Silsila, she blamed Amitabh Bachchan Farah called him Ghajini, and said the cook can't recall anything. Dilip then shared, 'I have watched sir's movie: Gunday.' Arjun quickly tests him and said, 'Then do the hook step of Tune Maari Entry'. When Dilip said he doesn't know how to dance, Arjun asked Farah to teach him, 'Farah taught you everything but dancing.' The choreographer said, 'I can't teach him! I don't want to forget the skill myself.' Arjun curiously asked Farah, 'You tell me, how did you think of starting a vlog with Dilip?' Farah shared, 'When I started the vlog, I decided it will be cooking related. In the very first vlog, I realised, 'I cannot do it all by myself. It is too much work.' Then I got Dilip in the vlog as my bouncing board. That very first vlog clicked and with the second vlog we had a silver button.' Arjun asked: 'Because Dilip was the…' Before the actor could complete his sentence, Farah interrupts him and said: 'Because people just liked it. It was very real.' Anshula intruded, 'But, Dilip is the star!' Arjun looks at Farah and adds, 'Sorry to inform you!' Farah then replied: 'I am the starmaker guys! Main kya karu?' She then added, 'After Rakhi Sawant and Deepika Padukone, it is Dilip!' Arjun said, ' What a list to have!' Dilip then joined the conversation. Farah asked, 'Dilip, who did you like better in Gunday?' He looked at Arjun and said, 'Sir.' Arjun said, 'Ranveer Singh will feel bad but thank you man!' Farah then shared, 'Don't worry, his answer will change when he will visit him.' Dilip said, 'In the movie what I liked the most was their friendship.' When Farah asked, 'And their rage?' Dilip replies, 'It was not there as much, but their friendship was ultimate.' Arjun then asked Dilip, 'Why haven't you asked Farah to teach you the dance step yet?' Dilip gets all shy. Farah then revealed, 'He recently danced with Jaaved Jaffry. They recreated an entire Boogie Woogie Boo.' Arjun then advised Dilip, 'You need to tell madame to teach you to dance. Otherwise, what is the point of being a cook to such famous choreographer?' He adds, 'She should actually teach you everything including filmmaking.' Farah said, 'On this note, we should head to the kitchen.' As they start to cook dahi kadhi and onion rice, Arjun claimed, 'Dilip has done nothing in this vlog. Dilip has only spoken about Gunday and Ranveer Singh.' He then taught him 'Tune Maari Entry' step. 'See, you found a dance trainer in me.' Dilip too followed his instructions and learnt the step. Atjun also asked him to tell Farah that he will choreograph her next song. As Dilip handed several gifts to Arjun and Anshula, the actor asked Dilip, 'Did you gift anything to Shah Rukh Khan when you met him for an ad shoot?' Before Dilip could reply to him, Farah says, 'He gave him a hard time, that's what he gave him.' This leaves the siblings in splits. Later, Arjun garnishes the rice with caramalised onions. He tells Dilip, 'Did you see that Dilip, how well I did that?' Dilip agreed but expresses disappointment. 'Han sir, par ap mera shot kha gaye!' This left Arjun speechless, who said, 'Tum khana khao yaar, chalo!'
