PDS Health Expands CyberArk Deployment to Automate Certificate Lifecycle Management at Scale

Business Wire13-05-2025

NEWTON, Mass. & PETACH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), the global leader in identity security, today announced that PDS Health, a leading integrated healthcare support organization serving more than 1,000 dental and primary care practices across the U.S., will extend its CyberArk implementation with additional machine identity security solutions. By adding CyberArk Zero Touch PKI and CyberArk Certificate Manager to its identity security program, PDS Health will modernize its public key infrastructure (PKI) and automate certificate lifecycle management (CLM) – gaining visibility into all certificates across any environment, enabling compliance with certificate policies and helping to prevent costly outages.
PDS Health has redefined healthcare through the integration of dental and medical services, delivering a broad spectrum of offerings to dental, dental specialties and medical providers across the U.S. Identity security is a key component of the organization's cybersecurity strategy and is critical for enabling PDS Health to deliver valuable services that improve care delivery and patient outcomes.
A long-standing CyberArk customer, PDS Health uses the CyberArk Identity Security Platform to manage and secure the growing number of identities – both human and machine – across its organization, including cloud access, workforce password management, endpoint privilege management and secrets management. PDS Health is now adding CyberArk solutions to manage and secure TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificates, the digital credentials that secure website communication by encrypting data and authenticating a website's identity.
As the number of TLS certificates skyrocket and the industry shifts to shorter certificate lifespans, CLM has become a critical challenge for organizations. Relying on manual CLM workflows to track certificate expirations and manage renewals is no longer effective at this scale, making organizations vulnerable to outages and security incidents. With tens of millions of dollars in revenue processed daily at PDS Health, the impact of a certificate-related outage would be costly and disruptive.
'When certificates expire, identifying and resolving the issue can be incredibly time-sensitive and resource-intensive,' said Nemi George, Vice President of IT and Chief Information Security Officer at PDS Health. 'Over time, we realized we couldn't rely on internal tools and manual processes anymore. As a long-time customer of CyberArk's identity access management and privilege access management solutions, implementing CyberArk's new PKI and certificate management solutions to address this growing challenge seemed like a natural move for PDS Health. This will allow our systems to be even more secure and available, reinforcing trust across the digital estate with full visibility to improve reporting accuracy for auditors and executives.'
PDS Health will use CyberArk's Zero Touch PKI and Certificate Manager to help automate the entire CLM process, reduce the risk of security incidents and strengthen its overall security posture. The solutions will be delivered through a central platform that enables the security team at PDS Health to automatically discover, monitor and renew all TLS certificates across the organization, giving them a single, real-time view of every certificate and its location, owners and expirations. They will also enable the team to enforce global security policies and meet important compliance requirements. By maximizing uptime and preventing business disruptions, PDS Health can focus on delivering on its vision of creating healthier, happier patients.
'Since 2019, we have partnered closely with PDS Health to help them tackle their biggest identity security challenges across both human and machine identities,' said Kurt Sand, GM of Machine Identity Security at CyberArk. 'As the volume and complexity of machine identities – especially certificates – continue to grow, we are committed to helping PDS Health successfully secure all of their certificates across environments so they are prepared for future industry shifts such as shorter certificate lifespans and post-quantum cryptography.'

Trade Desk Insiders Sell US$16m Of Stock, Possibly Signalling Caution

The fact that multiple The Trade Desk, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTD) insiders offloaded a considerable amount of shares over the past year could have raised some eyebrows amongst investors. When analyzing insider transactions, it is usually more valuable to know whether insiders are buying versus knowing if they are selling, as the latter sends an ambiguous message. However, shareholders should take a deeper look if several insiders are selling stock over a specific time period. While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing. AI is about to change healthcare. These 20 stocks are working on everything from early diagnostics to drug discovery. The best part - they are all under $10bn in marketcap - there is still time to get in early. Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the Independent Director, Kathryn Falberg, for US$15m worth of shares, at about US$98.17 per share. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (US$67.96). So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it. In the last year Trade Desk insiders didn't buy any company stock. The chart below shows insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year. By clicking on the graph below, you can see the precise details of each insider transaction! See our latest analysis for Trade Desk I will like Trade Desk better if I see some big insider buys. While we wait, check out this free list of undervalued and small cap stocks with considerable, recent, insider buying. For a common shareholder, it is worth checking how many shares are held by company insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Trade Desk insiders own about US$3.2b worth of shares (which is 9.3% of the company). I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders. The fact that there have been no Trade Desk insider transactions recently certainly doesn't bother us. While we feel good about high insider ownership of Trade Desk, we can't say the same about the selling of shares. Investors in Trupanion (NASDAQ:TRUP) have seen favorable returns of 92% over the past year

These days it's easy to simply buy an index fund, and your returns should (roughly) match the market. But investors can boost returns by picking market-beating companies to own shares in. To wit, the Trupanion, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRUP) share price is 92% higher than it was a year ago, much better than the market return of around 11% (not including dividends) in the same period. If it can keep that out-performance up over the long term, investors will do very well! In contrast, the longer term returns are negative, since the share price is 2.4% lower than it was three years ago. So let's assess the underlying fundamentals over the last 1 year and see if they've moved in lock-step with shareholder returns. AI is about to change healthcare. These 20 stocks are working on everything from early diagnostics to drug discovery. The best part - they are all under $10bn in marketcap - there is still time to get in early. Given that Trupanion didn't make a profit in the last twelve months, we'll focus on revenue growth to form a quick view of its business development. When a company doesn't make profits, we'd generally hope to see good revenue growth. Some companies are willing to postpone profitability to grow revenue faster, but in that case one would hope for good top-line growth to make up for the lack of earnings. Trupanion grew its revenue by 14% last year. That's a fairly respectable growth rate. Buyers pushed the share price 92% in response, which isn't unreasonable. If revenue stays on trend, there may be plenty more share price gains to come. But it's crucial to check profitability and cash flow before forming a view on the future. The company's revenue and earnings (over time) are depicted in the image below (click to see the exact numbers). If you are thinking of buying or selling Trupanion stock, you should check out this FREE detailed report on its balance sheet. It's nice to see that Trupanion shareholders have received a total shareholder return of 92% over the last year. That's better than the annualised return of 6% over half a decade, implying that the company is doing better recently. In the best case scenario, this may hint at some real business momentum, implying that now could be a great time to delve deeper. While it is well worth considering the different impacts that market conditions can have on the share price, there are other factors that are even more important. Even so, be aware that Trupanion is showing 1 warning sign in our investment analysis , you should know about... Estimating The Intrinsic Value Of Amber International Holding Limited (NASDAQ:AMBR)

The projected fair value for Amber International Holding is US$11.66 based on 2 Stage Free Cash Flow to Equity With US$11.79 share price, Amber International Holding appears to be trading close to its estimated fair value The average discount for Amber International Holding's competitorsis currently 41% Today we will run through one way of estimating the intrinsic value of Amber International Holding Limited (NASDAQ:AMBR) by projecting its future cash flows and then discounting them to today's value. We will use the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model on this occasion. There's really not all that much to it, even though it might appear quite complex. Companies can be valued in a lot of ways, so we would point out that a DCF is not perfect for every situation. If you want to learn more about discounted cash flow, the rationale behind this calculation can be read in detail in the Simply Wall St analysis model. We've found 21 US stocks that are forecast to pay a dividend yield of over 6% next year. See the full list for free. We are going to use a two-stage DCF model, which, as the name states, takes into account two stages of growth. The first stage is generally a higher growth period which levels off heading towards the terminal value, captured in the second 'steady growth' period. In the first stage we need to estimate the cash flows to the business over the next ten years. Seeing as no analyst estimates of free cash flow are available to us, we have extrapolate the previous free cash flow (FCF) from the company's last reported value. We assume companies with shrinking free cash flow will slow their rate of shrinkage, and that companies with growing free cash flow will see their growth rate slow, over this period. We do this to reflect that growth tends to slow more in the early years than it does in later years. Generally we assume that a dollar today is more valuable than a dollar in the future, so we discount the value of these future cash flows to their estimated value in today's dollars: 2025 2026 2027 2028 2029 2030 2031 2032 2033 2034 Levered FCF ($, Millions) US$7.83m US$13.0m US$19.1m US$25.6m US$31.8m US$37.6m US$42.7m US$47.1m US$50.9m US$54.3m Growth Rate Estimate Source Est @ 92.94% Est @ 65.94% Est @ 47.04% Est @ 33.81% Est @ 24.55% Est @ 18.07% Est @ 13.53% Est @ 10.35% Est @ 8.13% Est @ 6.57% Present Value ($, Millions) Discounted @ 6.5% US$7.4 US$11.5 US$15.8 US$19.9 US$23.2 US$25.8 US$27.5 US$28.5 US$28.9 US$28.9 ("Est" = FCF growth rate estimated by Simply Wall St)Present Value of 10-year Cash Flow (PVCF) = US$217m The second stage is also known as Terminal Value, this is the business's cash flow after the first stage. For a number of reasons a very conservative growth rate is used that cannot exceed that of a country's GDP growth. In this case we have used the 5-year average of the 10-year government bond yield (2.9%) to estimate future growth. In the same way as with the 10-year 'growth' period, we discount future cash flows to today's value, using a cost of equity of 6.5%. Terminal Value (TV)= FCF2034 × (1 + g) ÷ (r – g) = US$54m× (1 + 2.9%) ÷ (6.5%– 2.9%) = US$1.6b Present Value of Terminal Value (PVTV)= TV / (1 + r)10= US$1.6b÷ ( 1 + 6.5%)10= US$838m The total value, or equity value, is then the sum of the present value of the future cash flows, which in this case is US$1.1b. In the final step we divide the equity value by the number of shares outstanding. Compared to the current share price of US$11.8, the company appears around fair value at the time of writing. The assumptions in any calculation have a big impact on the valuation, so it is better to view this as a rough estimate, not precise down to the last cent. The calculation above is very dependent on two assumptions. The first is the discount rate and the other is the cash flows. You don't have to agree with these inputs, I recommend redoing the calculations yourself and playing with them. The DCF also does not consider the possible cyclicality of an industry, or a company's future capital requirements, so it does not give a full picture of a company's potential performance. Given that we are looking at Amber International Holding as potential shareholders, the cost of equity is used as the discount rate, rather than the cost of capital (or weighted average cost of capital, WACC) which accounts for debt. In this calculation we've used 6.5%, which is based on a levered beta of 0.821. Beta is a measure of a stock's volatility, compared to the market as a whole. We get our beta from the industry average beta of globally comparable companies, with an imposed limit between 0.8 and 2.0, which is a reasonable range for a stable business. View our latest analysis for Amber International Holding Valuation is only one side of the coin in terms of building your investment thesis, and it is only one of many factors that you need to assess for a company. It's not possible to obtain a foolproof valuation with a DCF model. Instead the best use for a DCF model is to test certain assumptions and theories to see if they would lead to the company being undervalued or overvalued. For instance, if the terminal value growth rate is adjusted slightly, it can dramatically alter the overall result.
