DeepHealth, a RadNet Subsidiary, Receives FDA Clearance for Remote Scanning Solution, TechLive™

TechLive™ is a vendor-agnostic integrated solution enabling remote scanning of MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound procedures
Amidst radiology technologist shortages, remote scanning in a command center configuration enables the workforce to scan at multiple locations simultaneously with a high level of expertise
RadNet has connected more than 300 MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound systems with TechLive™, delivering operational efficiency and increased access to advanced procedures
LOS ANGELES and SOMERVILLE, Mass., Aug. 07, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DeepHealth, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT) and global leader in AI-powered health informatics, announced today that it has received FDA 510(k) clearance for TechLive™ - a remote scanning solution enabling centralized operation and supervision of MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound procedures. Amidst tech labor shortages and inflationary wage pressure, TechLive™ empowers technologists to scan for multiple locations, enables improved operational efficiency, extends center operating hours, and enhances access to complex procedures. More than 300 of RadNet's MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound systems are now connected with DeepHealth's TechLive™ solution, resulting in increased patient throughput and improved quality through remotely matching expert staff with complex modalities in real-time.
Over the past decade, radiology workloads have steadily increased, while the number of qualified technologists have not grown proportionally. In a pilot deployment at 64 locations inside of RadNet's New York area facilities, TechLive™ significantly contributed to a 42% decrease in MRI room closure hours during the second quarter of 2025 as compared with the same period in 2024, allowing more patients to receive timely scans. Additionally, as a result of the remote expert involvement during the same pilot deployment, TechLive™ contributed to an increase in complex procedures. Furthermore, in extending remote scanning capabilities to Ultrasound, TechLive™ is enabling experienced senior sonographers and physicians to remotely guide technologists on-site through complex cases in a modality that is heavily dependent upon real-time, operator expertise.
"TechLive™ represents a paradigm shift in how we approach imaging operations," said Sham Sokka, PhD, Chief Operating and Technology Officer at DeepHealth. "By enabling real-time remote expertise, we are not only addressing today's staffing challenges, we are creating a foundation for more efficient, financially sustainable, and high-quality patient care across the broadest set of imaging modalities. This FDA clearance validates DeepHealth's vision of a connected imaging ecosystem that scales human expertise beyond physical boundaries."

Trump on Pelosi's Investments: 'INSIDE INFORMATION,' 'Is Anybody Looking Into This?'

President Donald Trump has leveled allegations against Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her husband Paul Pelosi, accusing them of leveraging insider information for stock market profits. What Happened: Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday to voice his criticism of the Pelosis' stock market activities. He referred to Nancy Pelosi as a 'disgusting degenerate' and hinted that the couple's stock market success was a result of insider information. 'Crooked Nancy Pelosi, and her very 'interesting' husband, beat every Hedge Fund in 2024. In other words, these two very average 'minds' beat ALL of the Super Geniuses on Wall Street, thousands of them. It's all INSIDE INFORMATION! Is anybody looking into this???' Trump wrote. Trump's remarks follow Pelosi's recent backing of Senator Josh Hawley's (R-MO) bill, now dubbed the HONEST Act. The proposed law seeks to ban members of Congress, the president, and the vice president from trading stocks. Also Read: Marjorie Taylor Greene's Palantir Bet Has Skyrocketed 142% Since She Bought It Pelosi, who has often been under fire for her profitable stock portfolio, expressed that 'the American people deserve confidence that their elected leaders are serving the public interest — not their personal portfolios.' Just last week, Pelosi dismissed any allegations regarding her stock trading as 'ridiculous' during an interview on CNN's The Lead. Why It Matters: The allegations by Trump add fuel to the ongoing debate about the involvement of political figures in stock trading. The endorsement of the HONEST Act by Pelosi, who herself has been a subject of criticism for her stock market gains, signifies a shift in the stance of political leaders towards stricter regulations. However, the dismissal of the allegations by Pelosi indicates the complexity and sensitivity of the issue. As the debate continues, the outcome could have significant implications for the intersection of politics and finance. Atlanta-based private equity firm Provest Equity has acquired North Texas-based Advanced Process Solutions. APS is a precision manufacturing company based in Blue Ridge, Texas, north of Dallas. Formerly known as Advanced Plastic Services, APS has been a provider of industrial equipment and solutions for the semiconductor, solar, and oil and gas industries for over two decades. The acquisition of APS, which closed on July 31, marks the first investment for Provest. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 'APS represents exactly the type of high-potential industrial platform we set out to acquire when we launched Provest Equity Partners,' said Suhas Uppalapati, founder and managing partner at Provest, in a press release. 'With the global demand for semiconductor and energy sectors accelerating, we see tremendous opportunity to invest in APS's next phase of growth, leveraging our operational experience and long-term vision.' Provest Founding Partner Kerry Byler echoed the sentiment. 'Our team is excited to work alongside APS's talented employees and leadership.
