Ronaldo, 40, previously said he was "1000 per cent sure" he would marry Georgina, who is mum to two of his children.
They met while Georgina, 31, was working in a Gucci shop in Spain in 2016.
The Spaniard was working as a sales assistant and revealed it was "love at first sight" - for both her and Ronaldo.
She told Italy's Elle magazine: 'The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci where I worked as a sales assistant.
'Days later we saw each other again at another brand's event and it was then we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.'
They have been together ever since and have two children together - Alana Martina, 7, and Bella, 3.
Georgina is also raising Ronaldo's twins Eva and Mateo, 8, and 10-year-old son Cristiano Jr.
The pair are now set to tie the knot following Ronaldo's proposal, with Georgina stating publicly: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives."

Georgina sparked engagement speculation back in April by posting a picture of a different ring on her finger.
And although she had to wait, her love for Ronaldo remained unwavering.

She told The Sun: "Being the partner of someone so famous is not easy but I would not change it for the world.
"What I feel for him is stronger than anything, any kind of pressure. Together we are stronger and there is a mutual admiration."
Ronaldo was always sure he would marry Georgina too, but he wanted to wait until the time was right.
He said: "I always tell her, 'when we get that click.' Like everything with our life, and she knows what I'm talking about.
"It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I'm 1,000 per cent sure that it'll happen."
Al-Nassr.
Georgina posted her engagement update to Instagram from the Saudi capital.

Kim Kardashian breaks down in tears over ex-husband Kanye West in explosive documentary trailer
Kim Kardashian was breaking down in tears in an explosive documentary trailer about her ex-husband, Kanye West. She could be heard getting upset during a heated argument with the controversial rapper in a video teasing the upcoming In Whose Name? documentary. In the beginning of the trailer, which debuted on YouTube on Wednesday, showed a tense moment between Kardashian and West, who now goes by Ye, when they were still married. The rapper admitted that he stopped taking his medication for his bipolar disorder: 'I'm off my meds for five months now.' While he is seen exiting her dressing room at an unknown event, Kardashian could be heard with her voice audibly shaking and seemingly sobbing as she told him: 'Your personality was not like this a few years ago.' The pair were previously married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Their divorce proceedings and ongoing co-parenting dynamic has made headlines over the years — even back to when their marriage started breaking down in the public eye and as he continued sharing offensive social media posts years after their split. She could be heard getting upset during a heated argument with the controversial rapper in a video teasing the upcoming In Whose Name? documentary In the beginning of the trailer, which debuted on YouTube on Wednesday, showed a tense moment between Kardashian and West, who now goes by Ye, when they were still married Audio clips were stitched together with West talking and at other points, his voice was even yelling: 'It's a calling by the universe. Never tell me I'm going to wake up one day and have nothing.' Then, the then-couple could be seen sitting on a couch together, facing each other. After what appeared to be another tense conversation, she calmly said to him, 'We could talk about that later, but...' before he interrupts her: ''It ain't no but.' 'When I went to the hospital and one of the ideas was to do a church,' he narrated alongside clips of his Easter Sunday Service performance at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival, where he appeared to be crying as Chance the Rapper consoled him. 'Yeah, I was just being embarrassed or ashamed to cry, man,' he narrated alongside more clips of his activities over the years, including making music, filming artistic videos, spending time with his young children and designing fashion. 'When we're at the prisons, professing how Jesus can set you free, it's true,' an audio clip of a sermon played over clips of inmates in prison during church service. 'Thank you, Jesus. I decided to run,' the rapper said as a clip of West holding up a sign that read, 'YE4PRESIDENT,' flashed across the screen. In the trailer, West could be seen with their kids and traveling with their eldest daughter North West when she was a toddler. In the trailer, West could be seen with their kids and traveling with their eldest daughter North West when she was a toddler Years later, he was also seen with his youngest daughter Chicago in another clip At one point in the explosive trailer, he was heard yelling: 'I almost killed my daughter.' Going back to how he stopped taking his medication, he was also heard declaring: 'I'd rather be dead than to be on medication. Either they destroy me or I destroy it.' 'It's a sad dream,' Kardashian's voice made one final appearance as West continued to vent. 'They're killing our ability to think outside of the box. And I'm almost like a masochist,' he said. 'I like whatever I want, when I want. It's worse.' In the concluding clip, he proclaimed: 'You know the best thing about being an artist and bipolar? Anything you do and say is an art piece.' The trailer showed clips preceding when West got married to Bianca Censori, so it is unclear if the documentary will feature the 30-year-old Yeezy architect-turned-model. He previously opened up about begin diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 after being hospitalized for a psychiatric emergency. The trailer also included more clips of the rapper putting together more of his designs with sneak peeks of his process Here he was seen at some of his invite-only gatherings, which featured gospel music performed by himself and his Sunday Service Choir Later, another clip showed him during a quiet moment in his life as he traveled alone The trailer was riddled with artistic cinematography showing West around the world and even posing in the middle of the street in Paris However, earlier this year, West said he was misdiagnosed and has now been diagnosed as autistic, which is not a mental illness. The upcoming documentary was directed and produced by Nico Ballesteros, a filmmaker who started working as an intern for West at age 18 and filmed him over six years. The summary of the trailer read: 'Over six years, 18-year-old Nico Ballesteros captured an unfiltered portrait of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, offering unprecedented access into the private and public life of one of the most controversial figures in modern culture. 'The film charts Ye's meteoric rise to becoming the richest Black man in American history and the choices, contradictions, and collapses that have since redefined his legacy,' the description continued. 'Featuring appearances by Kim Kardashian and other influential figures from Ye's inner circle, the documentary explores the razor's edge between creative genius and self-destruction, revealing the cost of freedom in a fame-obsessed world.' The documentary is set for release on September 19 and, according to Ballesteros, will premiere in 'thousands' of AMC Theaters.

The Ibiza Final Boss is set to be the next Halloween costume trend as outfits of the viral sensation have already started to appear online. Jack Kay, 26, became an internet celebrity after he was filmed 'cutting shapes' on the party island with a gold chain, sunglasses and a baby pink cup in his hand. When he first appeared on phone screens around the country last week, many were shocked to discover his locks were not in fact a hat. The hairstyle, coupled with his shades, gold chain, man bag and huge build, became an instantly-shareable hit. Now fancy dress shops have already started to stock costumes to allow people to share Kay's iconic look. The costumes include a stick on wig and goatee alongside accessories including the gold chain, sunglasses . They have already appeared on Ebay and Amazon. The product description for the costume on Amazon reads: 'Transform into the ultimate party legend with our Adults Ibiza Final Boss Costume Accessory Set – perfect for festivals, fancy dress events, and unforgettable nights out. 'This hilarious and bold kit includes a sleek black bob wig, stick-on goatee, chunky gold chain, and a pair of cool black shades to give you that over-the-top VIP look. 'Comfortable to wear and easy to assemble, it's ideal for quick and impactful transformations without the fuss of a full costume. 'Pair it with your favourite outfit to complete the larger-than-life character, or go all-in for a head-turning Ibiza boss vibe. 'Designed for adults, this fun and versatile set works for club nights, summer festivals, birthday parties, or any event where you want to be the centre of attention. 'Step up, own the room, and let the final boss energy flow.' The costume is up for sale for £14.99 on Amazon. The raver has already held talks with ITV2 bosses about featuring in the next series of Big Brother, according to The Sun. Like other overnight viral stars such as 'Hawk Tuah girl' Hailey Welch and 'Salt Bae' Nusret Gokce, Kay is likely to enjoy a boom in freebies, appearances and sponsorship opportunities. Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Daily Mail that the 'Final Boss' of Spanish party islands stands to earn six figures in the next 12 months alone – between nightclub appearances both at home and abroad and potential brand deals. And he added that Kay's masterstroke move of signing with top talent agent Dave Read would steer him well. Read and his talent agency Neon Management are credited with making reality star Joey Essex a millionaire. Mr Ede said: 'It's amazing how he has captured the zeitgeist – he's the most popular thing since the Jet2 holiday adverts, and he can maximise on this for quite a while. 'He's a living caricature. People don't really look like that but he is exactly what you think people who go to Ibiza should look like and be like. It's actually crazy.' Kay, who shared a photo of his 'fresh trim' last week on Instagram, is likely to enjoy the attention of brands, nightclubs and celebrities all keen to be associated with him for some time to come, Mr Ede said. He continued: 'He's off doing nightclub appearances in Ibiza and I can see him doing others around Europe, being sent around by cheap holiday companies to promote their resorts. 'Then, 100 per cent, he'll do nightclub appearances in the UK and that's really lucrative. You can do four or five of them a night. 'That's going to be regular and they pay five to ten grand per appearance. Do four of them a night on a Friday and a Saturday and you can make a lot money. 'That's how people on TOWIE made their money. It wasn't through the show: it was through their nightclub appearances.' It was revealed this week that Kay held a party at a €9million villa in Ibiza at the weekend - with one of the dwarves who was at Lamine Yamal 's controversial 18th birthday party in attendance. Kay threw a party at the villa with a dwarf who had been dressed up to look like a 'mini' version of him, including a bowl cut wig. 'The final boss and the mini boss out tonight, see you soon,' Jack wrote below a video of the pair dancing at the property. The entertainer, Juan Alberto Duaso, was one of five dwarves hired for Barcelona star Yamal's birthday party last month. Their presence at the football star's bash sparked a huge backlash after it was denounced by a disabled rights group, who began legal proceedings against Yamal's team. In response, the Spanish government toughened laws for hiring people with disabilities, including dwarfism, which make it illegal to 'humiliate' or 'mock' them for entertainment - with fines now reaching as high as €600,000. A night earlier, on Saturday, Jack, 26, invited 100 of his fans to the villa for a 'huge party', which featured sets from popular DJs Deniz Menendez and Rsquared. In one picture from the bash, a vape-clutching Jack is seen posing for a picture next to a blonde beauty in a fitted leopard print top, while a group of young women flank his right side. Other clips shared by his friends show the internet sensation dancing while sporting his trademark black glasses, bowl haircut and fitted vest. The videos showed how one of the rooms in the villa has been repurposed into a mini nightclub, complete with strobe lighting, a DJ booth and a bar. It was also reported last week that Kay is fighting to save his relationship to his model girlfriend - after she unceremoniously dumped him as he partied on the White Isle. Alisha, 23, a debt collector, from Co Durham, is said to have been so angry with Mr Kay raving in Ibiza she dumped him before footage spread online and propelled him to viral stardom as the 'Ibiza final boss '. They have since reconciled, but a source close to Mr Kay said he was 'skating on thin ice' over his partying ways. A friend of Mr Kay's told the Daily Mail: 'Alisha called it off when Jack went to Ibiza with the lads. Alisha, 23, a debt collector, from Co Durham, is said to have been so angry with Mr Kay raving in Ibiza she dumped him before footage spread online and propelled him to viral stardom as the 'Ibiza final boss' 'They'd been together for almost a year and he was living at her place but things hadn't been right for months. 'His car is still on her drive, she threw all his clothes in the back of it. She doesn't want him around anymore. 'She's had inklings that something was not right for a while. She just wants to wash her hands of him. 'Alisha is so beautiful. No one is quite sure what she saw in him.' The friend added: 'It's hard to believe that he's been branded the super king of Ibiza - the final boss - when she's been left on her own back here.' When Mr Kay sprung to viral fame after being filmed dancing on the party island, donning a gold chain and baby pink cup, Alisha revealed herself publicly as his girlfriend. She shared a series of TikTok videos captioned 'POV (point of view) ya boyfriends now known as Ibiza final boss'. In the clips, blonde-haired Alisha was seen cuddled up to Mr Kay, with him kissing her on the cheek. However, the friend claimed that Alisha had only posted the video 'to boost her TikTok' and that she had already handed out her marching orders. She has subsequently deleted her presence on social media after Mr Kay's sudden fame. A holiday firm has also sought to capitalise on the craze with a hilarious advert centred on the trim. Big business is piling in on the trend - with On The Beach unveiling two adverts featuring the haircut disguised as an umbrella pole on an idyllic beach, in the hopes of enticing ravers to attend Ibiza's closing parties in September and October. The ads include the hilarious lines such as: 'Hastings to Ibiza from £295pp, Haircut not included' and 'Face the Final Boss, Ibiza from £295pp'. Spokeswoman Zoe Harris said: 'If Jack's "Ibiza final boss" barnet can turn heads faster than a DJ drops the bass, then it will certainly get people's attention on advertising boards. 'The famous mop is now being used to sell our incredible deals to the closing parties in September and October. That's trimmed down prices for holidays that are a cut above the rest.' She added: 'Ibiza is such a popular spot for Brits and we have no doubt that this viral moment will lead to more people booking to go out to throw some shapes on the many dancefloors across the island.' On the day the Ibiza Final Boss went viral on social media, bookings to the island rose by 48 per cent day on day - and On the Beach told of expecting a further increase as attentions turn towards closing parties. Kay's own social media following has exploded, with his TikTok account - labelled 'IBIZA FINAL BOSS' - picking up almost 20,000 followers, while a newly created Instagram has 27,000. Comments on his social media are laden with praise and offers to keep him coming back to Ibiza again and again. Travel firms have offered him holidays, while Gary Lineker's clubbing-obsessed brother Wayne - who owns club O Beach - has asked him to get in touch.

Christie Brinkley's awkward moment as ex-husband she accuses of cheating with teen shows up at her book signing... with 40-years-younger wife
She has described their marriage as 'one of the most tormented experiences of my life' – an experience that came to a screeching stop when she discovered he was cheating on her with a teenager. So, it's hardly surprising that feuding exes Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook were careful to keep their distance when both showed up at a fundraising gala in East Hampton on Saturday night. Photos show the former couple at Author's Night – a lavish society bash that raises cash for East Hampton Library – doing their best to avoid each other. Making the encounter all the more awkward was 66-year-old Cook's date for the night: his 26-year-old blonde wife Alba Jancou. Brinkley, meanwhile, was one of the featured authors: signing copies of her memoir Uptown Girl in which she excoriates Cook for his cheating and the six-year divorce battle it precipitated. She wrote: 'Years later, in 2012, after a tumultuous six-year divorce and custody battle with Peter, he called me a liar on national television. 'I never defended myself, and while I'm not interested in talking about him now, I do want to share a little story.' That story began with her giving a commencement address at a graduation ceremony at Southampton High School. According to Brinkley, after the address a man not involved in the event tapped her on the shoulder and told her that Cook, an architect, was sleeping with his 18-year-old daughter. Brinkley continued: 'I knew from Peter's face that he was guilty, and in that moment, I thought I was going to pass out onstage, in front of hundreds of people. 'When I stood back up, I asked the man for his card, but he told me he didn't have one and that he was a police officer in town, so all I had to do was to go into the station if I wanted the full story.' According to the glamorous blonde, she went on to get all the details and kicked Cook out – teeing up a painful divorce and a lengthy custody battle over their model daughter Sailor, now 27. Brinkley has been married four times. Husband number one was French artist Jean-François Allaux (left) while her third was real estate entrepreneur Richard Taubman Brinkley has been married four times – before fourth husband Cook, she was wed to French artist Jean-François Allaux, real estate entrepreneur Richard Taubman and most famously of all, singer Billy Joel. Brinkley and Joel were married from 1985 to 1994 and share a daughter, Alexa Ray, who was born in 1985. Currently single, she has been publicly unenthusiastic about the prospect of a fifth husband and suggested making marriages a five-year deal during an interview with Sex and the City Star Kristin Davis on her podcast earlier this week. The 71-year-old told the Are You A Charlotte? host: You could get married, like, 'We'll see if you want to renew it in five years, 'Every five years, go, 'Do you want to renew?' That way, if you're getting bored or whatever, you can get out of it without all the lawyers and all that stuff.' Cook, meanwhile, has had no such qualms and married his much younger wife in an intimate ceremony in Capri in 2023. The blushing bride, who was just 20 when she got engaged to Cook, wore a stunning appliqued dress by Israeli designer Lee Grebenau for the al-fresco nuptials teamed with a pair of Aquazzura shoes. Jancou told People Magazine the weddings was 'romantic' and that they knew they wanted to get married in Capri because they had vacationed there multiple times Speaking to People magazine after the event, Jancou – who at 26 is a year younger than her stepdaughter Sailor – described the wedding as 'romantic' and 'visually stunning'. She said: 'I mean, who doesn't want to get married in Capri!? We both absolutely love Italy; it is our favorite country. 'We have traveled all over Italy together and the one place that really stood out to us was Capri. We loved everything from the views, the food and the culture. It is so romantic and visually stunning.' Architect Cook added: 'We had vacationed there in 2021, and spent the day of our third anniversary taking a boat trip where we kissed under the Faraglioni. 'About a year after our trip, Alba found a perfect terrace overlooking the Faraglioni, and we knew that was where we wanted to get married.'
