Khan Younis hospital appeals for burial shrouds after almost running out

Authorities at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis are appealing for burial shrouds as the increasing number of fatalities means there is a current shortage, Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday.
The hospital's laundry department warned that an increasing shortage of shrouds will mean people who have been killed will be brought out and buried uncovered.
Both Muslim and Christian Palestinians are typically buried in shrouds.

Doctors Without Borders says hospitals and staff in Gaza are barely functioning

In an interview with Al Jazeera on Wednesday, a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) staff member described Gaza's healthcare sector as 'utterly horrific' following targeted Israeli attacks. Nursing activities manager Nastasha Davies told the news network that there is 'not one fully functioning' state hospital left and that the current skeletal facilities are 'absolutely incapable of meeting the huge demand' in Gaza. Davies also expressed concern that healthcare workers 'go to work not sure if [they're] ever going to come back to [their] family'. Israel has systemically targeted healthcare workers in Gaza. Everybody, including health workers, is facing a widespread famine and starvation in the strip.
