Roseate Hotels & Resorts, part of the Bird Group, is looking to expand its presence in the UK hospitality market following its recent acquisition of Beechfield House in Wiltshire.
This purchase marks the brand's eighth property globally and its fifth hotel in the UK.
The luxury hospitality brand is also pursuing a development strategy in India, with multiple projects underway.
The company has acquired a 2.6-acre plot for a hotel near the upcoming Noida International Airport in India. The property will include a convention centre.
Post-monsoon, Roseate aims to expand its existing resort in Rishikesh with 31 additional villas.
Additionally, a boutique luxury property is under construction in Goa.
Branching out from its core hospitality business, Roseate is venturing into the branded residences market, with projects in Ayodhya and Dehradun tailored for affluent individuals and non-resident Indians.
These residences are expected to command a premium of 20–30% over the standard market values.
The group is also exploring the senior living sector, focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India.
Roseate is in talks with the government of Himachal Pradesh and other states to build and manage ice skating rinks, utilising its in-house expertise to provide recreational facilities.
The company is considering an ice rink within a shopping mall in Delhi as part of this initiative.
Besides focusing on an asset-heavy approach, Roseate is now also considering an asset-light model, which will focus on strategic locations and partnerships for development.
In December 2019, Roseate House New Delhi ventured into the flexible workspace arena by introducing its first premium coworking club in Aerocity.

Instead of a Babymoon, We Took Our Toddler on an 'Only-Child Moon'

It was around the time our son started referring to the robot vacuum as his little brother that we decided to try for baby #2. The journey was long and emotional, and the desire to give him a (human) sibling felt increasingly desperate. So, when we finally heard that heartbeat, I expected to feel nothing but joy. But alongside the typical anxieties of early pregnancy was another emotion I didn't see coming: guilt. I never realized how many of my son's favorite games involved running around until I was too nauseous to be on my feet. Our exciting daily outings all but disappeared. Television consumption skyrocketed. Meals shifted from freshly-made and full of veggies to PB&J sandwiches on repeat. Pregnancy insomnia left my mind swirling in the dark, wondering how much worse it would be once the baby arrived. Then one morning—my son watching cartoons again, me hunched over the toilet bowl—I decided to do something to combat the guilt I was drowning in. The 'Only-Child Moon' Idea Was Born As a travel journalist, I know a good trip can fix almost anything. So I started dreaming up a long weekend getaway for the three of us. It's common for couples to take a babymoon to soak in time together before a new arrival, so why not do the same with our son? While brainstorming destinations for our last hurrah as a family of three, I wanted to ensure the focus was on being present with our toddler and making him feel seen and special. I've always said there's a time and place for all-inclusives, and this was definitely one of them. No more stress and guilt over meals. Endless options for activities designed to keep inquisitive toddlers entertained (and where I was never too far from our room in case the pregnancy symptoms hit). It was perfect. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya quickly became the clear choice for our self-proclaimed 'Only-Child Moon.' With the quick two-hour flight from Miami plus a 30-minute drive from the Cancun airport, the travel felt manageable. And believe me, no one on Earth can appreciate the absolute bliss of not cooking or washing dishes for multiple days like an expecting parent who also has a toddler. What My Toddler Thought of Our 'Only-Child Moon' 'Wow, it's so boo-ti-iful in here!' my toddler gasped, eyes scanning the resort lobby and landing on the gigantic golden pineapple in the center. While we got checked in, he wriggled out of my arms and ran around with delight, squealing 'Hola!' to all his new friends. In our suite, I watched his little face light up at every detail— like the slime dripping from the leg of a chair or the Blue's Clues pillow beside our swim-up pool. I plopped on the lush bed and felt my body soften for the first time in weeks. Despite the nausea and exhaustion, this had definitely been the right decision. As we explored the property, my son's curious finger never stopped pointing with declarations of 'Look, Mama!' and a huge grin on his face. For three days, we swam in oceanfront kiddie pools, met his favorite Nickelodeon characters, piled our plates with bacon at the breakfast buffet, and truly celebrated the final stretch of our son's only-child chapter. One of my personal favorite parts? Sneaking away during nap time one afternoon for a blissfully quiet prenatal massage and facial at the resort's ultra-serene spa. What I Learned From Our 'Only-Child Moon' After zipping down waterslides and floating around the lazy river, the three of us snuggled in our towels, munching on french fries in a cabana at Aqua Nick. I felt deeply grateful for my little family and all the adventures we'd shared over the past two and a half years. Over the weekend, guilt gave way to gratitude as I soaked in my son's joy and dreamed of all the fun we would continue to have as a family of four. The trip reminded me that I'm a pretty dang good mom, even on my worst days, and I deserve a lot more grace from myself as I parent and grow two tiny humans. Yes, come October, my son will be sharing my love and attention—but he will also have a little brother, someone to play with and share these memories with for the rest of his life. As I watched him dip another french fry in ketchup and giggle at a nearby iguana, I knew we'd all be to take an 'Only-Child Moon' of your own? Here's how! Whether by car, plane, or train, keep the travel time short and easy. Especially for older kids, let them help plan! Give them a say in the destination, activities, restaurants, etc. Keep in mind all the standard travel advice during pregnancy. Consult a health care provider before flying, wear compression socks, and stick to pregnancy-safe foods. Follow your child's lead. If they're happy spending all afternoon in the pool, let them. Even if you think there's something 'cooler' you could be doing. Put the phones away. Be as present as possible to really soak in this time with your firstborn. Know where the nearest NICU-equipped hospital is in case of an emergency. Children are happy with very little. Don't make this a jam-packed vacation, ensure everyone (especially the expecting parent) has time to rest. Consider hiring a photographer at your destination to capture family and maternity photos to help cherish the trip for years to the original article on Parents Solve the daily Crossword
