Donia Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Mamdouh's Film "Rocky El Ghalaba" Sets Release Date

We're just a few months away from a new film from Egyptian stars Donia Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Mamdouh.
Ghanem and Mamdouh's latest feature film 'Rocky El Ghalaba' has been set for a theatrical release on July 30.
Mohamed Tharwat, Mohamed Radwan, and Bayoumi Fouad are also on board to star.
It is scripted by Karim Youssef, directed by Ahmed El Gendy, and produced by Mohamed Ahmed El Sobky.
"Rocky El Ghalaba" marks the second collaboration between Ghanem and Mamdouh after 2022's film "
Taslim Ahali
", which also witnessed Ghanem making her last onscreen appearance.
The actress was born on January 1, 1985 into a legendary showbiz family – she is the daughter of renowned actor Samir Ghanem and actress Dalal Abdulaziz; her sister, Amal— known as Amy— is also an actress.
Ghanem's talents appeared when she was a child, participating in school plays and shows.
The actress made her acting debut in 2001's TV series 'Leladala Wogouh Katheera' (Justice has many faces).
In 2005, Ghanem made her first film appearance in renowned comedy actor Mohamed Henedi's film 'Ya Ana Ya Khalty'.
She released her first song 'Farh el Sen' in 2010.
In 2015, she was a judge on season 4 of 'The X Factor' Arabia version along with Lebanese singers Elissa and Ragheb Alama.
Ghanem is best known for her work on the television shows 'Leladala Wogouh Katheera', 'El Kabeer Awy', 'Lahfa', 'Nelly and Sherihan', 'In Lala Land', 'Badal el hadouta 3', and "Aicha Aldor".
On the film side, her notable film credits include 'El-Farah', 'You Fly', 'Ezbet Adam', 'La Taragoa Wala Esteslam', 'X-Large', and '365 Days of Happiness'.

"Faat El Maad" Unveils Posters and Teaser
Yara Sameh The official posters and teaser for Egyptian stars Asma Abulyazeid and Ahmed Magdy's TV series "Faat El Maad" have been unveiled. The drama consists of 30 episodes and marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2019 TV series "El Anesa Farah". "Faat El Maad" also stars Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Salwa Mohamed Ali,Mohamed Ali Rizk, Ahmed Safwat, Hager Afifi, Mohamed Abu Dawood, Walaa El Sherif, and more. Saad Hendawy directed the series from a script by Atef Nashed, Islam Adham, and Nasser Abdel Hamid. Square Media is the studio behind the drama. "Faat El Maad" recently wrapped filming and is set to premiere soon during the off-season on the DMC and DMC TV Channels. Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, something that became available in college where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts. She participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016. In 2017, Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance as Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening). Her TV credits also include "Al Nas" (2024), "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017). Abulyazeid is also known for her roles in films such as "El Daawa Ammah" (2022), "Laylat Amar 14"(2022), "Mousa" (2021), "30 March" (2021), "El Kowayeseen" (2018), and "Hadha almasa'" (2017). Yousra's ‘Laylet Eid' Premieres June 6th on Shahid VIP
Set during Arafat Night, the film follows women navigating hardship on a remote island. Jun 02, 2025 Yousra's newest drama film 'Laylet Eid' will premiere on June 6th on Shahid VIP, with its release timed to coincide with Arafat Day—the same night on which the film's story unfolds. Directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz, the film follows a group of women living on a remote island as they confront a range of difficult social realities. Through a single night, 'Laylet Eid' explores issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, and female genital mutilation. The cast features a lineup of prominent Egyptian actresses including Yousra, Abir Sabri, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Salwa Othman, Yousra El Lozy, Arefa Abdel Rasoul, Naglaa Qadry, Hanady Mehanna, and screen legend Samiha Ayoub. PM Follows Up on Grand Egyptian Museum Opening Preparations
H-Tayea Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that weekly meetings will be held until July 3 to follow up on preparations for the Grand Egyptian Museum's opening ceremony.
