Emraan Hashmi
, who was diagnosed with dengue on May 28 while filming his upcoming pan-Indian film They Call Him OG, has recovered and is back on set. He has resumed shooting in Mumbai.
He shared with Mumbai Mirror, 'I am back in action and it feels good! I took some time off to recover from dengue, but now I have fully recovered and am back on set.
A big thank you to everyone for all the love and thoughtful messages! I am excited to get back to the hustle and bring something exciting to the screen soon.
'
The actor was shooting in Aarey Colony, Goregaon, when he began experiencing symptoms. They Call Him OG marks Emraan's Telugu debut, and he plays a primary role alongside
Pawan Kalyan
.
Previously in a conversation with News18 Showsha, Emraan observed that the Hindi film industry is truly lacking the courage to take risks.
Talking about why Indian producers avoid risky projects, Emraan said, 'If you put that across to a producer over here, I would say that nine out of ten of them would tell you, 'Are you out of your mind?' It would be a logistical nightmare. Thirteen minutes into a shot, someone may goof up and we would have to do the entire thing again.
What would happen to the budget? We would need a director who leads the team, to be audacious and mad enough to make a show that way.'

Talking about the scripts he's been reading lately, Emraan said many of them feel outdated or too similar to what he's already done. 'I'm like, why can't you see me or a film from a fresh perspective? I know that it's easier said than done. I definitely do say no more than yes. We should at least put out something we believe in rather than something that's run-of-the-mill. The probability of that working is more,' the actor added.

The Traitors: Maheep Kapoor Calls Karan Johar's Show 'Mentally, Physically' Tiring

Last Updated: Maheep Kapoor said it is easy for viewers to judge the contestants as they already know who the traitors are. Week 2 of Prime Video's The Traitors was a wild ride, packed with twists, turns, and explosive exits. Maheep Kapoor and Ashish Vidyarthi were voted out in a fiery Circle of Shaq, the Traitors murdered Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar's shocking elimination followed a full-blown meltdown from Sufi Motiwala. While talking about the intense experience on the show, Maheep Kapoor said, 'We were mentally and physically very tired. And I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. It's very easy to sit in your living room and switch on the TV, and say… You guys know who the Traitors are, we didn't. It's very convenient to say, 'What are they doing? Why are they doing that?' It's a mind game. It's all psychological." Speaking about his shocking exit from the show, Raftaar added, 'I am toh quite happy, matlab yeh pehla aisa show hai, jisme exit hona bhi ijjat vali baat hai 'Yeh toh bada smart tha, isko nikalna zaroori tha.' Toh, it is a great thing. That is the format of the show I like." Ashish Vidhyarthi said, 'Yeh ek game hai, lekin yeh real life ko mimic karta hai. Real life mein bhi hum sochte hain ki hum samajdaar hain, lekin humein khud nahi pata chalta kab hum bhed chaal ka hissa ban jaate hain. So what you see in Traitors iss jo duniya me ho raha hai ki aapko lagta hai ki aap bohot samajhdar hai. And that's when the individual realises. So it was a masterclass in life for me." Reflecting on his experience on the show, Mukesh Chhabra said, 'Yeh reality show sabse alag hai. Jaise inhone show plan kiya hai, woh hi kamal ka hai. Jiske saath baith kar main abhi khana kha raha hoon, woh hi agle pal meri opinion badal deta hai, sirf ek plate lene jaate hi. Peeche mudh ke dekho toh sab badal chuka hota hai. Har second log ek doosre ke baare mein apna opinion badal rahe hain, wahi toh is show ka asli khel hai." Produced by BBC Studios India Productions, Prime Video brings the Indian adaptation of IDTV's BAFTA and Emmy award-winning global format, The Traitors, in collaboration with All3Media International. Episodes 1 to 6 of The Traitors are now streaming on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping every Thursday at 8 PM.

Pharrell Williams made sure he brought a bold cultural twist to Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show in Paris. Inspired by the elegance and depth of Indian design, the collection debuted at Paris' Place Georges Pompidou with a vibrant mix of tradition and modernity. From richly detailed fabrics to subtle nods to Indian architecture and music, the show wasn't just fashion - it was storytelling stitched in style. A musical masterstroke: AR Rahman x Louis Vuitton But it wasn't just the visuals that told a story - it was also the sound. The night's most unexpected moment came when AR Rahman made a surprise appearance. He premiered Yaara, an unreleased track co-created with Pharrell, blending his signature cinematic depth with Pharrell's genre-fluid sensibilities. The collaboration pulsed through the runway, elevating the collection to something almost transcendent. Aamir Khan 's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' which released on Friday, June 20 picked up extremely well over the weekend with positive word of mouth. But as expected it saw a major drop on Monday. But now how it sustains all through the week will play a huge role in determining the film's fate. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' though, has surpassed expectations and despite being a niche film and not like a 'Ghajini' or 'Dangal', the film has managed to create a dent at the box office. On Sunday, it saw a further jump of 34.90 percent according to Sacnilk and made Rs 27.25 crore. From that, the film saw a major drop on Monday and made Rs 8.5 crore. Now even Tuesday, has begun on a similar note as Monday and one expects the movie to sustain the same as that number. On Tuesday, the movie made the same as the Monday number which is Rs 8.5 crore. The numbers on Tuesday could also have been more due to more footfalls as at many theatres like PVR Inox, the ticket price is at a discounted rate on Tuesday. The fact that it remained steady is a great sign. On Wednesday, up till afternoon, the film has made Rs 1.78crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 76.93 crore. The film is doing better in multiplexes than single screens. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo According to Box Office India, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has also done well in territories like Rajasthan and Gujarat where usually Aamir films don't do well.
