Israeli security forces arrested 42 illegal Palestinian residents in Nazareth overnight, Israel Police said on Tuesday morning.

As part of an operation aimed at preventing illegal stay offenses, Border Police and Israel Police officers searched various buildings in Nazareth to locate illegal residents.
Israel Police said in a statement that 28 illegal residents were found in one building, along with a large quantity of goods. Later on, the operating forces located 11 additional illegal residents hiding out in an apartment, and an furtheranother three in a second apartment.
An initial investigation revealed that all came from Gaza.
Further investigation
All those arrested, along with all the seized goods, were transferred to the Nazareth police station for further investigation.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir praised the security personnel involved in the operation, saying, 'This is the policy – acting with determination, on the ground, with zero tolerance, and the results speak for themselves..'
Later on Tuesday afternoon, police arrested three Palestinian illegal residents who were discovered in a transport truck. The driver and the owner of the cargo were also detained for questioning.
A fourth Palestinian was also arrested, but police found that he had a valid residence permit. The other three were interrogated at the Modi'in Illit police station and later jailed at Ofer Prison.

'We have made quick progress overnight and made two arrests, both these people remain in police custody. However, detectives are still working at pace to understand the circumstances around this sad event. 'We are urging anyone with information to get in touch and residents can continue to expect an increase in the number of officers in the local area as we continue our investigations. "Additionally, we ask all residents in the area to look at any doorbell or camera footage around Monks Park and to make contact if there is anything that they feel would assist police." (WFRV) – Six people were arrested earlier this month following search warrants obtained by deputies in Wisconsin after they reportedly received credible information about the possible use and distribution of controlled substances. According to a release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, deputies received the credible information on the morning of August 9 and quickly worked to obtain search warrants for the two locations where they believed these drugs were being used and distributed. Police in Wisconsin respond to unusual home intrusion by 'masked bandits' Officials say the search warrants were carried out that same afternoon at a home on the 2900 block of Brentwood Drive and another home a short distance away on the 2900 block of Crestwood Lane. Both locations were said to be in the Township of New Chester. After searching both locations, multiple items of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found. Further investigation led to another search warrant at a home on the 1000 block of Fern Avenue in the Township of Spring on August 14.
