Prince Andrew has emerged after staying out of the public eye amidst a flurry of new accusations detailed in an explosive biography by Andrew Lownie.
The Duke, along with his former wife Sarah Ferguson, is at the centre of Lownie's controversial book titled 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks'.
The book, penned by the esteemed historian, offers a shocking glimpse into the private lives of the ex-couple, touching on their supposed widespread infidelity, "controversial friendships" and "secretive money-making endeavours".
Following a week secluded at Royal Lodge, Andrew was seen departing from his residence. On Sunday, he was captured driving his Defender to Windsor Castle for a leisurely afternoon stroll.
Body language expert Judi James has scrutinised the photographs and divulged her intriguing observations to the Mirror. This revelation coincides with reports that Princess Beatrice's initial name choice was 'rejected by Queen for being too yuppie.'.
Judi provided insights into the Duke's current state of mind, stating: "It's less about what has changed in Andrew's body language here and more about what's missing. Caught in this one moment he appears to have lost the rounded-eyed, haunted expression."
She added, "His frown has softened somewhat and there are no clear signs of muscle tension in his face. The royal, often associated with looks of lofty arrogance, seems to be less consumed by signals of status and entitlement and perhaps more contemplative."
She elaborated: "His mouth is closed but his lips aren't clamped, and his shoulders look relatively relaxed. One pic like this might not capture his current mood in its entirety but it might hint at a more philosophical and less defiant approach now."
Prince Andrew stepped back from Royal duties in 2019 following a disastrous BBC Newsnight interview regarding his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, he has been mired in additional controversies, including connections to an alleged Chinese spy, leading to infrequent public appearances with the Royal Family.
According to The Mirror, which has had sight of the latest book on the Duke, Andrew's troubles are far from resolved. The publication delves into various aspects of his life, notably his romantic encounters, with claims that he has been involved with over 1,000 women, ranging from adult film actresses and political figures to nightclub workers and bartenders.
A 20 year old model is quoted in the tome stating: "He wanted me to engage in kinky sexual activity. He had no boundaries. He told me he had an open marriage arrangement with his wife."
The book further explores Andrew's reportedly strained relationships with Princes William and Harry, Sarah Ferguson's extravagant spending, the Duke's fondness for odd practical jokes, and his purported tendency to berate staff.
For one Royal commentator, the allegations seem all too plausible. Jennie Bond shared with the Mirror: "Every few months now, there seem to be new allegations about Prince Andrew and lurid stories about his behaviour over the years.
"These summer months are meant to be a period of calm and respite for the Royal family. But here's the Duke once again, splashed all over the papers, with graphic tales.
"I'm sure the book will have infuriated Andrew. I have to say, though, that from my own experience of meeting the Duke and my conversations with many people who have known him or worked with him over the years, there is a distinct ring of truth about his portrayal in this book. Arrogant, pompous and obsessed with status was my abiding impression of him."
August is traditionally when the royals retreat to Scotland to enjoy their cherished Balmoral estate.
King Charles has maintained the tradition of inviting family members to join him in Scotland. In past years, Andrew and his former wife Fergie have been among those welcomed.
However, Jennie suspects these recent allegations might throw a wrench into any potential Balmoral plans.
She continued: "For the King, it must be exasperating to have to read once again about his brother's shenanigans. It will be interesting to see whether the Duke and Duchess are invited to Balmoral this year as part of the family's summer get-togethers. It certainly could be awkward.
"But I don't think we should expect any retaliation from the King. He remains Charles's brother, and I suspect the King will just roll his eyes, probably swear about Andrew under his breath - but then get on with more important things in life.
"The book will, of course, annoy the Palace communications team who are constantly having to shore up the damage to the monarchy caused by Andrew's behaviour."

Nicola Peltz and Selena Gomez's feud 'doesn't exist' as pals hit out at drama

A pal of Nicola Peltz has silenced speculation that she and Brooklyn Beckham have become distant from their friend Selena Gomez after sources said their bond 'didn't exist' After previously forming a close friendship with them, Selena Gomez was said to have turned her back on pals Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham. However, the Mirror can reveal that this is far from the truth. ‌ Back in 2023, she even joked that the trio were in a 'throuple', but it now appears that's no longer the case. The singer, 33, was noticeably absent from the couple's vow renewal last month and it's now being reported that she's been left 'truly disappointed' by the pair's 'diva' like behaviour. ‌ A source told The Sun: 'Last year, she noticed Nicola's behaviour toward her and [fiancé Benny Blanco] turned into a constant quest for attention. ‌ 'There were many tense moments, for example, during dinners and lunches, where Nicola would try to sit where photographers could get the best angle, and she wasn't very nice to Selena if people weren't paying enough attention to her.' It comes after David Beckham speaks 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after latest Brooklyn snub. The source added: ''I mean, just look at Nicola and Brooklyn's circle of friends, it's shrinking every week. Some people have turned their backs on them because they've realised how Nicola behaves, and Brooklyn isn't doing much to change the dynamic.' But a source close to Nicola told the Mirror: "It's totally false and wrong to bring an innocent bystander into the feud. People have busy schedules, and people are looking for drama where it doesn't exist." Selena spent New Year's Eve with Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, back in 2023, with the trio enjoying time together on a yacht in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She took to Instagram to share a series of snaps, with one picture displaying the trio snuggled together as they lay on a net over the water onboard their lavish boat. "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone," the Good For You singer joked in her caption at the time. The Naturally singer reportedly also invited the husband and wife to move in with her. An insider told Closer: 'Brooklyn and Nicola moved into Selena's Encino estate a few weeks before Christmas, and the three of them have been playing happy families - joking that Selena is going to be written into the marriage license. 'Brooklyn and Nicola put their home on the market last year and had been living at Nicola's apartment in LA while they looked for a new house, which has been far from ideal given how cramped it is.' ‌ The source continued: 'When Selena suggested they move into her sprawling home with a huge backyard, they loved the idea and agreed that since they're still so young, living with a friend would be the perfect way to have the best of both worlds." Rumours of a feud first did the rounds last month when Nicola's fans pointed out the actress hadn't publicly wished Happy Birthday to actress and singer Selena Gomez. Selena, who has just turned 33, marked her latest birthday on July 22. ‌ One fan commented: 'No Selena? I miss your friendship with Selena,' while another expressed: 'Wondering that too, as it's Selena's birthday and she usually posts for that, wall, stories or on Selena's wall.' A third wrote: 'She's not even friends with his Mum anymore, so ..@selenagomez ?" This comes as Brooklyn and Nicola are said to be locked into a feud with the rest of the Beckham family. They failed to attend David's early 50th birthday celebrations back in April or acknowledge the birthday on social media. Not only this, but none of the Beckham family were present at their recent vow renewal ceremony, with her father Nelson Peltz stepping in to officiate the ceremony.

Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper stayed in field as wife went into labour with third child

Jeremy Clarkson lifted the lid the way Kaleb Cooper decided to prioritise farming over family life as his wife went into labour with their third child Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper is said to have stayed in a field to finish the harvest after learning his wife had gone into labour with their third child. ‌ Cooper, 26, has been managing Diddly Squat Farm for Jeremy Clarkson since the Prime show's debut in 2021. His down-to-earth attitude and willingness to challenge Clarkson have made him one of the most popular personalities on the show. ‌ Jeremy Clarkson outed the farm manager in his column for The Sun, writing: "The boy wonder Kaleb Cooper, who manages my farm, received word this week that his wife was in labour. 'Right,' he said. 'I'll be there when I've finished harvesting this field.'" ‌ Clarkson incredulously added: "How farmerish is that?!?!" According to Clarkson, once Cooper completed the harvest, his attention turned to naming the baby. This comes after a Clarkson's Farm star teased a filming update for the Prime show after some 'devastating' news. A friend suggested naming the child after the field where Kaleb had received the call, but Clarkson noted one issue: "The field was called Deadman." Earlier this summer, Cooper issued a warning on Instagram after spotting Chinese lanterns released over Chipping Norton during a heatwave. In the video, he fumed: "I've just called this in to 999 but someone has felt the need to light two Chinese lanterns in and around the Chipping Norton area. They are currently floating over the area. I'm looking at both of them as we speak right now." He continued: "But what goes through someone's mind when they decide to light two Chinese lanterns in the middle of a heatwave. We've hardly had any rain since March. Jesus, honestly. What's going on with the world." ‌ Followers came out in support of Cooper, pointing out how dangerous floating lanterns can be for dry farmland. Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service has previously warned that sky lanterns are a "significant" hazard, and pose risks to agriculture, livestock, camping, and properties. The update on Cooper's personal life comes at a difficult time for the Diddly Squat team. Clarkson recently confirmed that the farm has been affected by bovine tuberculosis. He took to X to share the sad update, writing: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated." He later added: 'We're now locked down and it's just dreadful, absolutely dreadful.' The restrictions will remain in place for at least two months, with another test required before livestock operations can resume. Clarkson confirmed the farm shop remains open. Clarkson also shared that one of his dog Arya's puppies had died, which only adds to the list of difficulties that workers on the farm have been facing this summer.
