Kajol is counting down the days until the release of her highly anticipated mythological horror film, Maa. With each passing day, the buzz surrounding the film is building and the actress is keeping the excitement alive with active promotions and candid conversations. Most recently, she sat for a podcast where she responded to a few questions about her daughter Nysa Devgn.
During the interaction, the interviewer shared a media incident where someone had mispronounced Nysa's name. But she handled it in a very bubbly way, correcting the mistake with a laugh before moving on gracefully.
When asked if she had ever told Nysa not to talk to the paparazzi, Kajol firmly denied it, adding, 'Humne kuch nhi kaha hai aisa. Jaise maine kaha hai hume kuch bolne ki zaroorat nahi padi hai. I think they take cues from us as parents. I think hum apne bachon ko wahi sikhate hai jo hum karte hai. To usse hi sikha hoga, I hope. Touchwood. (No, no. We have not said anything like that. In the same interview, the actor also responded to whether her daughter planned to step into the film industry, similar to Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha.
Kajol replied, 'No, I don't think she will. She is not interested in movies. I love all the kids in my family and I would want them to do exactly what gives them happiness and whatever they feel they'll succeed in."
Coming to the yet-to-be-released film Maa, the mythological horror film brings together an ensemble cast of talented actors including Kajol, Kherin Sharma, Indraneil Sengupta, and Ronit Roy. The narrative centres around a fierce mother who battles supernatural powers to protect her daughter from an evil entity. The film, directed by Vishal Furia, pits divine strength against dark forces, relying heavily on the mother-daughter equation amid supernatural troubles.
