Kim Soo-hyun on the show, Good Day.
G-Dragon's new variety show Good Day opts for a refreshing approach by featuring guests from various fields who share their personal stories in hopes of inspiring the BIGBANG member to create the 'Song of the Year.' The second episode highlights several actors from the or the '88 liners' from the entertainment industry, including Jung Hae-in, Im Siwan, Lee Soo-hyuk, and others. The episode opened with lighthearted moments, starting with G-Dragon and Kim Soo-hyun's awkward introductions that set the tone for the playful interactions that followed.
In the February 23 episode, G-Dragon displayed an unexpectedly shy side, especially in the company of top actors from the industry. The only one who seemed to understand him was Kim Soo-hyun, who shared that he too was an introvert. The group, which included Jung Hae-in, Im Siwan, Lee Soo-hyuk and variety show expert Hwang Kwang Hee, initially struggled to break the ice as they tried to figure out the show's concept.
The mood changed after Soo-hyun's confident entrance, where he joked about his profession and commented, 'You all look familiar, nice to meet you.' The others started laughing, with the actors mentioning that they're all close friends. Soo-hyun even mentioned having traveled with Hae-in
After Soo-hyun's entrance, G-Dragon still appeared shy, standing beside the cast with his head down. When it was his turn to introduce himself, he seemed nervous, simply stating his name and birth year. Noticing his unease, Kim Soo Hyun stepped in with a playful "Ok, pass," prompting applause from the group to ease the tension.
The episode has been the center of discussion on social media, with one writing, 'The way the 88 liners were so awkward with each other, and then here comes Soo-hyun, walking in with confidence and introducing himself.' Moreover, the three stars tried doing several poses, which led to a flood of reactions on social media, with many expressing joy at seeing the three together.

Kim Soo-hyun resurfaces with new legal action: YouTuber faces jail time and Dh51k for stalking and false claims

Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Goldmedalist, has issued a formal statement regarding legal action against Kim Se Eui, the operator of the YouTube channel HoverLab Inc., for violating the Stalking Punishment Act. According to the official statement, GOLDMEDALIST and the actor have filed an additional complaint and accusation against Kim Se-eui today. This follows earlier legal action initiated on April 1, 2025, when the agency and Kim Soo-hyun first filed a complaint against Kim Se Eui for repeatedly spreading false and defamatory information about the actor. These actions were deemed to constitute stalking under South Korean law. The authorities quickly took action, and by April 22, 2025, they had determined that Kim Se Eui's behaviour qualified as stalking. As a result, they requested a "provisional measure" to stop the individual's actions. The Seoul Central District Court granted the request the following day, April 23, 2025, issuing a court order for Kim Se Eui to cease the harmful behavior. Despite being officially notified of the court's decision on April 24, which clearly prohibited any further actions that were deemed to be stalking, Kim Se Eui has allegedly continued to spread false information about Kim Soo-hyun through his YouTube platform. Kim Se Eui's actions, in direct violation of the court order, now subject him to criminal punishment under Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Stalking Punishment Act. The law states that offenders can face a sentence of up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won (approximately $14,000). In response to this ongoing issue, GOLDMEDALIST and Kim Soo Hyun have once again moved forward with additional legal action. In March, the actor came under fire for his relationship with Kim Sae-ron, with YouTubers alleging that she was a minor when they were dating. The actor also faced accusations of pressuring her with debt, all of which he denied in a tearful press conference.

K-Drama Rewind, Rain or Shine: Lee Jun-ho and Won Jin-ah shine in brutal tale of silent grief and survivors guilt

Trauma doesn't heal with a band-aid. The bleeding doesn't stop—not right away. Sometimes, you have to rip it off, let the wounds gush freely, and begin the messy business of cleaning them out. If you're lucky, what's left is a scar—a tender one that twinges when you least expect it. That's the idea behind Rain or Shine, starring Lee Jun-ho and Won Jin-ah. A story entrenched in guilt and the aftermath of one life-changing incident, the show holds up a mirror of what grief can look like—repulsive, disturbing and sickening— and yet, you can't look away. There's nothing romantic and poetic about loss, as the storytelling shows. It isn't loud, blaring and melodramatic either, which compounds the uneasiness tenfold. The themes are so heavy and yet silent, that it takes time to watch the show. Pace it out, if you will. Rain or Shine revolves around revolves around Jun-ho's Gang Doo and Moon-soo, who are the survivors in a building collapse that occurred 10 years ago. 48 people were killed and several others killed. It's the kind of tragedy that headlines briefly, then fades from public memory—a familiar disaster in a world all too used to them. But Rain or Shine narrows in on the aftermath, showing how even a 'small' incident reverberates for years in the lives of those left behind. Gang Doo still has injuries and remembers each and every vivid detail of the collapse, while Moon-soo has blocked out the memories owing to her guilt, and the numbing loss of her younger sister. She needs to take care of her mother, who is still waist-deep in grief. Gang Goo and Moon-soo cross paths as they begin work on a construction project, and a love story slowly begins to form between them. The exhaustion of years spent carrying guilt softens, just slightly, when they're around each other. Yet, trauma has this vicious way of rearing its ugly head, especially for Moon-soo, as she starts remembering more details from the incident, which is deeply tied to Gang Doo. In one of the most painful episodes of the series, she tries to leave his house quickly after an uneasy discovery, and he, confused, tries to hold her back. It's possibly one of Jun-ho's best performances, as his expression ranges from confusion to fear. 'You're being strange. Please don't go,' he says, before confessing his love to her immediately. The love confession is uttered quietly, without any background music at all—almost making you squirm in the seat. You want to look away; this seems too private. This feeling increases exponentially in another scene, where he later begs her to open the door. Nevertheless, the two characters do heal as gingerly as people can with such wounds and the show, does end on a quiet, reflective note. Storytelling and visceral themes aside, it's the acting that just makes this show so incredibly piercing. While Jun-ho is brilliant as he plays a man trying to cobble a life together, Won Jin-ah brings a new perspective to grief with her silence. Her acting is almost like a silent internal scream throughout, it somehow still rings in your eyes.
