Next's £28 ‘comfy and flattering' holiday dress looks just like £2k D&G one
Between upcoming summer holidays and the current heatwave we're all experiencing, there's never been a better time to pick up the perfect summer dress – and we've spotted one that is a guaranteed winner over at Next. The Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress is a bargain at £28, and thanks to its gorgeous colourful print and flattering design, it's the perfect pick for the summer season.
It also reminds us of Dolce & Gabana's Printed Cotton Midi Dress, which retails for a staggering £2050 and has a very similar colourful 'La Dolce Vita' type of print. Although the silhouettes of the two dresses are different, the whimsical pattern and bright colours both scream summer holiday, and with the Next dress costing just 1% of the designer D&G one it's no wonder it's been such a hit with shoppers.
Reviews of the Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress have been overwhelmingly positive, with one saying: 'Perfect sizing. Easy to wear and looks fab even though I am a 16. Washes well. Great price.'
Another agreed: 'Gorgeous dress for holidays comfy to wear and very flattering i bought 3 all different patterns love them all easily dressed up for evening I must add they are on the smallest size so I would size up.'
Some also found an issue with sizing, with one writing: 'Too small, even when I sized up.'
However plenty more shoppers loved it, saying: 'Lovely summer dress for my forthcoming holiday. The material is soft and skims over my body and the colours are gorgeous.'
Another shopper commented: 'This is a lovely dress… although I wanted to wear it in the day with my swimwear I think I would want to dress it up for night too.'
The Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress is available in sizes 6 to 26 in petite and regular lengths, and you can also pick from sizes 10 to 20 in a tall fit. It has a flattering midi-length hemline, with adjustable shoulder straps that let you get the perfect fit.
The figure-skimming slip-style silhouette is also perfect for staying breezy and comfortable on holiday, without feeling like anything is clinging to your body which we all hate when it's hot. A side slit also helps it flow as you walk to make sure you're comfortable wearing it all day.
If you love the print but would prefer a different silhouette, we spotted some fantastic alternatives elsewhere too. Nobody's Child's Cream Printed Cassidy Midi Dress features ruffle details across the chest and on the straps, with a square neckline, fitted bodice and flowing midi skirt that flatters your figure. It's a little pricier at £89, but is made from a lightweight 100% organic cotton which is breathable and sweat wicking, making it ideal for those rising temperatures.
We also spotted this more affordable White Fruit Print Scalloped Strap Midi Dress for £37.99 at New Look, which is fitted across the bust and flows out in an empire silhouette. The wide scalloped straps give it a playful touch, whilst the bold colourful fruit print keeps it perfect for summer.
However if you want to pick up the Pink/Orange Midi Slip Summer Dress, you can get it for £28 at Next in all sizes now.

Next opens first India store in Pune, with Myntra partnership
The British fashion and lifestyle retailer Next has opened its first store in India at The Pavilion Mall in Pune. This launch marks the beginning of its partnership with the e-commerce company Myntra. The strategy involves opening flagship stores while simultaneously strengthening Next's presence on Myntra's digital platform. In a statement released in March of last year, Myntra announced it had secured the exclusive franchise and distribution rights for Next in India. Under this agreement, 8–10 Next stores will be rolled out across key Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, within the first couple of years. The brand, known for its timeless classic wardrobe staples and unique price positioning, has already seen demand double since its online launch on Myntra in 2023. The partnership also opens the door for Myntra to potentially introduce other brands owned by Next, such as Reiss, Lipsy, and Joules, to the Indian market. Next's entry into India is part of a broader trend, with other global brands like Zara, H&M, and Uniqlo also expanding their footprint in the country.

Boden's £98 'sumptuous' shirt shoppers say is 'relaxed whilst retaining some shape' is now £39
Boden shoppers have been raving about a shirt that is currently discounted. The Longline Linen Safari Shirt in a chambray colour was £98 but is now £39.20 providing a whopping £58.80 saving. The larch green coloured shirt is also on discount dropping from £98 to £44.10. The shirt is made out of cooling linen making it perfect for warm weather or to wrap up when the weather gets cooler. It has a relaxed fit to it – an easy shape that is not too loose and is designed to fall on the hip. Boden's description of the Longline Linen Safari Shirt reads: "You don't have to be exploring the Serengeti to enjoy safari chic. We've whipped up this shirt from cooling linen to a longline shape that's perfect whether you're off-grid or enjoying home comforts." From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here. The shirt is made out of 80% linen and 20% recycled linen. It is also easy to care and maintain as it is machine-washable. In the chambray colour the Longline Linen Safari Shirt is available in UK sizes eight, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 but is unavailable in sizes four, six, and 20. In the larch green tone it is available in sizes eight to 22 but not in sizes four and six. Elsewhere Sainsbury's Tu shoppers are in love with a "gorgeous" £24 top that looks like it could be from Damson Madder, which is the Denim Gingham Bow Tie Blouse and could make a great summer top for a fashion lover. Alternatively, for a bit of stripe, Next has the Soft Relaxed Long Sleeve Shirt for £28 and comes in three different striped patterns. Back to Boden the Longline Linen Safari Shirt has received a four out of five star rating and 16 reviews. "I bought size 16 fitted lovely looks good on nice material and an excellent service," one customer commented. Another said: "I really liked the fit of this shirt, it was relaxed whilst retaining some shape which is a more flattering look on me than the looser styles." And a third noted: "Lovely quality, great design. Lovely colour too." But not everyone was happy with their purchase. One buyer had an issue with its length and said: "Described as long line but isn't that long - nice shirt though I have kept it". While another unhappy buyer remarked: "Nice shirt but the arms were way too long for me". However another pleased shopper remarked: "Absolutely sumptuous linen shirt in the most gorgeous colour. Made to the usual high Boden standards." And another happy buyer noted: "Great fit on my taller frames. I especially like the roomy shoulders and that the cool linen fabric doesn't crumple, it creases ever so slightly after 8hrs of wear".
