Provincial police in Grenville are seeking assistance as they try to locate a 36-year-old woman missing since Saturday.

In a release, OPP described 'Meagan' as five feet seven inches tall and 125 pounds with a slim build, shoulder-length blond hair and hazel eyes. The woman has a tattoo reading 'Isaiah 43:4' inside one wrist and a cross inside the second wrist.

She may be wearing a yellow shirt and driving a 2008 Honda Fit with licence plate CDNM562.

She was last seen at about 9 a.m. Saturday in Kemptville.

23 charged, drugs seized in Pembroke following 5-month investigation
Police have charged 23 suspects and seized more than 400 grams of "suspected fentanyl" and other drugs as the result of a major investigation in Pembroke, Ont. It was the culmination of a five-month operation focused on drug trafficking in the region, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a news release Friday. Officers executed search warrants on May 22 and June 4 at residences on Martin Street and Pembroke Street W., where they found and seized suspected drugs including large quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and hydromorphone tablets. A handgun, a modified shotgun and a pellet rifle were also seized, along with ammunition. Pellet guns can be considered replica firearms under the Criminal Code. The haul also included an SUV, more than $13,000 in cash and other items "typically associated with drug trafficking." The 23 suspects range in age from 16 to 70 . Several are residents of Pembroke, while others reside across Ontario including Ottawa, Barrie and Pikwàkanagàn. More arrests and charges are expected, police said. At least seven units within the OPP assisted with the investigation and arrests, including the canine unit and organized crime enforcement bureau, police said.

(OPP/X) Twenty-three people are facing charges, including two teenagers, after police shut down an illegal drug operation in Pembroke, Ont. Ontario Provincial Police say a five-month investigation focused on drug trafficking in the city in the Ottawa Valley, with officers executing search warrants at homes on Martin Street and Pembroke Street West on May 22 and June 4. Officers seized over 400 grams of suspected fentanyl, 300 gams of suspected cocaine, 120 grams of suspected crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone tables, a loaded handgun and a loaded sawed-off shotgun. Police said over $13,000 in cash, a 2023 SUV and numerous cellphones were also seized. 'Police have arrested and charged 23 individuals so far, with more arrests and charges anticipated,' the OPP said. The people facing charges live in Ottawa, Pembroke, Scarborough, Haley Station, Petawawa, Laurentian Valley Township, Barrie and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.

One dead after single-vehicle collision in South Bruce Peninsula

The 18 year old from South Bruce Peninsula died in the hospital from injuries, after a collision on Spring Creek Road to which Grey Bruce OPP responded just after 3 p.m. Another individual involved in the collision remains in the hospital with serious injuries. The road remains closed between Legion Road and Allenford Road as the investigation continues. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find a different route.
