In the TDCA league, Gautam plays for Aththis CC. In his TDCA debut, he guided Aththis CC to victory by scoring 44 runs off 46 balls. Ever since, he has been on an upward trajectory. 'I sincerely thank the Aththis CC management for their trust and for giving me the platform to showcase my abilities. I'm eagerly looking forward to the upcoming season and the chance to make a greater impact,' said Gautam.
In the TNCA divisions, he plays Magnets CC which is in the fifth division. Gautam is keen on making his mark in this as well, after missing out on the first few games due to his commitments for the state age-group team. 'I was fortunate to participate in the final three league games, which provided me with valuable exposure and experience. I'm now looking forward to the upcoming season, to make an even greater impact,' he said.
Recalling his experience of playing three matches for Magnet CC in the fifth division, calling it a 'true test of character,' he said, 'Facing a team renowned for their fierce bowling attack, I managed to hold my ground during a relentless opening spell. Though I couldn't convert it into runs, the experience was invaluable — it challenged my technique and composure like never before.'

CHENNAI: SKIPPER Pradosh Ranjan Paul's 73 and wicketkeepr G Ajitesh's (71 n.o) one-man show with tailenders has helped TNCA President's XI survive day one against a spirited Himachal Pradesh side in the All India Buchi Babu tournament at the Gojan college 'A' ground on Monday. Due to bad light, the day's quota of 90 overs could not be completed. Pradosh explained how his day went, both as a skipper and as a batter. ''Pleased with the way Ajitesh played under challenging conditions. Considering the conditions, I feel this is a good total for us," he told this daily. Pradosh felt that the team could have amassed more runs but credited the youngsters, as few of them are playing for the first time in this level. His contributions has a batter has been important for Tamil Nadu in recent memory. "I had to be watchful and slowly graft the ball. I did not try to play extravagant shots and just wanted to have a good ball sense and improve my timing,'' said Pradosh. He believes the bowling attack would give a good challenge to the HP batters.

Cheteshwar Pujara says R Ashwin can take up coaching role for India in future
Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara has named Ravichandran Ashwin as the candidate who can take over as the future coaching job of the Indian side in ESPNcricinfo Q and A. While Ashwin has been considered as an astute mind in the game, he has also been associated with the overthinker tag. Speaking to the Indian Express, said, 'It's unfair to actually say somebody's an overthinker because that person's journey is his own. And nobody has a right or business to do that. There have been statements that people have made all along when leadership question has come my way, there have been people who are been out there telling, my name is not the first name of the sheet when India tour abroad.' 'Whether that name is first on the sheet or not is something I can't control. If I earned it, it's got to be there and that's my belief. As I said, I have no complaints, I have no time to sit back and throw punches or regret or anything. I have no regrets about anyone,' Ashwin said.
