
Township of Archipelago celebrates 45 years
The Township of Archipelago celebrated its 45th anniversary Thursday with a flag-raising, cake and speeches at the Pointe-au-Baril Community Centre. Reeve Bert Liverance praised the Georgian Bay wilderness, while MPP Graydon Smith lauded over the scenic community. A renovated community rink, partly funded by a $200,000 grant, was also unveiled.
