Ishaan Khatter wowed fans with his six-pack abs and sculpted physique in the series Royals. However, he recently revealed that maintaining this physique became a challenge for his movie Homebound, where he had to lose weight. Ishan shared that he shed 8-10 kilos in just two months to fit the requirements of the role. In an interview with Mashable India, Ishaan opened up about the physical transformation he underwent, "After Royals, I had to lose weight for Homebound. In fact, not only weight, when I met the director, he told me to lose all my muscles. 'You have to look normal.' So, it became a disadvantage. I completely understood why he said that. I lost about 8–10 kilos… to play a 21-22-year-old boy," he shared.

Despite the physical challenge, Ishaan credits his long-standing commitment to fitness for helping him adapt quickly. His physique, he explained, is the result of years of consistent effort, not just a one- or two-year transformation. Having a background in dance and a sustained interest in fitness, he maintains a base level of conditioning that allows him to manage even during periods of reduced exercise.
Stressing that there's no shortcut to fitness, he added, 'It's consistency. I know it's a boring answer, but it's the truth. Aap lagey raho. Just do enough so that you don't get demotivated by fatigue the next day. Don't push yourself over the edge.'

He also cautioned against falling into the all-or-nothing trap, "People have these bursts of enthusiasm like around New Year where they hit the gym hard and then burn out. But we are made to move. We're designed to move. Just find your own way of doing it."

Karan Johar calls out Bollywood's 'herd mentality'; Criticises trend of copying hits: 'You see 'Chhaava' working...'

Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared his honest thoughts about what's going wrong in Bollywood right now. The 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' director said that the biggest issue troubling the film industry today is the 'herd mentality'. He explained how too many filmmakers are trying to copy what's already worked instead of coming up with fresh and original ideas. 'Everybody wants to do what others are doing' While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, KJo pointed out that many in the industry are trying to repeat the success of hit films instead of focusing on new stories. He said, 'I think it is everybody grappling to do what others are doing. We see 'Pushpa' running and catering so strongly to the tier-2 and tier-3 audiences, suddenly, we will see 20 others wanting to do the same. You see 'Chhaava' working, everybody would want to make historicals. 'Stree' and everybody wants to make horror comedies. Those worked because they were individually strong, and there was no other option in that genre. It was a unique thought that made those films work.' The 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' director believes that the reason films like 'Stree' and 'Pushpa' did well is because they were different and strong in their own way. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Düsseldorf: Gutes Hören sucht 700 Testhörer für Hörgeräte ohne Zuzahlung Gutes Hören Undo Just copying those genres will not give the same results, he said. 'We need unique ideas' Karan also spoke about how important it is for filmmakers to trust their own thoughts and ideas rather than follow others. He shared how someone once asked him if he had his own film universe, like a spy or cop universe. The 'My Name is Khan' director further explained, 'We all need to have individual thoughts that are unique to ourselves. Someone asked me the other day, 'Do you have a universe?' I was like, 'As in?' They were like, 'A spy universe or a cop universe.' I was like, 'My universe is cinema itself.' I am not here to build universes, I am here to tell stories. In that story if there's a universe, then why not?' Karan made it clear that he is more interested in telling good stories rather than trying to build a big film universe just to fit in. Cannes appearance for 'Homebound' Apart from sharing his thoughts on the state of Bollywood, Karan recently made headlines for his appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. He attended the premiere of his film 'Homebound', which is backed by his production house. 'Homebound' is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and stars Ishaan Khatter , Vishal Jethwa , and Janhvi Kapoor . Karan Johar says the biggest issue of Bollywood is ‘herd mentality': Everybody wants to make horror comedies

Karan Johar thinks several people in the film industry are trying to emulate a success story to capitalise on the audience's interest and make their own films work. However, that is not going to work. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Karan was asked what is currently the biggest issue that is plaguing Bollywood, Karan said it is 'herd mentality' and went on to explain his point. Meghan Markle shares her go-to home remedy for seasonal allergies on podcast with Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles

Meghan Markle recently revealed her go-to home remedy for treating allergies. During a bonus episode of her Lemonada Media podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex grew concerned when her guest, Tina Knowles, sneezed and mentioned struggling with allergies. Meghan then shared the natural solution she personally relies on to manage similar symptoms. (Also read: Ishaan Khatter shares he lost 8–10 kgs in 2 months to play a 21-year-old in Homebound: 'I had to lose all my muscles' ) In the May 27 bonus episode of her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, Meghan sat down for a candid chat with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother. Meghan grew concerned when Tina sneezed and admitted she'd been struggling with allergies. That's when the Duchess of Sussex asked, "Oh no, do you eat local honey? That can help." Tina replied that she "used to," prompting Meghan to encourage her to get back on the habit. A post shared by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (@meghan) "You have to get back on that because the other day, one of Archie's little friends at school, this little girl has such bad allergies," Meghan explained, referring to her and Prince Harry's 6-year-old son. "I said, 'Hold on a minute, we have bees, let me give you a little jar of our honey." When Tina mentioned that Beyoncé also keeps bees, Meghan shared more about their own backyard apiary: "Yes, we have a little apiary down there, three of them," she said. "And Archie has his little beekeeper suit with the little hat on and the gloves. It's great." She added that using local honey can help naturally relieve allergy symptoms: "If it's local honey, you get that pollen, all the same things in your system, and it desensitises allergies." While local honey is often touted as a natural remedy for seasonal allergies, scientific evidence remains inconclusive. A 2013 randomised controlled trial published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found no significant improvement in allergy symptoms among participants who consumed local honey compared to those who took a placebo. Similarly, a 2021 Cochrane review on complementary therapies for allergic rhinitis concluded that evidence supporting such remedies, including honey, was weak to moderate, emphasising the need for more rigorous research before honey can be recommended as an effective allergy treatment.
