In the May 27 bonus episode of her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, Meghan sat down for a candid chat with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother. Meghan grew concerned when Tina sneezed and admitted she'd been struggling with allergies. That's when the Duchess of Sussex asked, "Oh no, do you eat local honey? That can help." Tina replied that she "used to," prompting Meghan to encourage her to get back on the habit.

"You have to get back on that because the other day, one of Archie's little friends at school, this little girl has such bad allergies," Meghan explained, referring to her and Prince Harry's 6-year-old son. "I said, 'Hold on a minute, we have bees, let me give you a little jar of our honey."
When Tina mentioned that Beyoncé also keeps bees, Meghan shared more about their own backyard apiary: "Yes, we have a little apiary down there, three of them," she said. "And Archie has his little beekeeper suit with the little hat on and the gloves. It's great."
She added that using local honey can help naturally relieve allergy symptoms: "If it's local honey, you get that pollen, all the same things in your system, and it desensitises allergies."
While local honey is often touted as a natural remedy for seasonal allergies, scientific evidence remains inconclusive. A 2013 randomised controlled trial published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found no significant improvement in allergy symptoms among participants who consumed local honey compared to those who took a placebo.
Similarly, a 2021 Cochrane review on complementary therapies for allergic rhinitis concluded that evidence supporting such remedies, including honey, was weak to moderate, emphasising the need for more rigorous research before honey can be recommended as an effective allergy treatment.

Los Angeles protests: Meghan Markle's appearance at Natural History Museum gala postponed

Meghan Markle was all set to appear on June 14 at the Night of Wonder gala organized by the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County (NHMLAC). The event has now been postponed due to the ongoing violence in Los Angeles in the aftermath of raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. The event will now be held at a later date, as per People magazine. The decision to reschedule the event was taken by the Natural History Museum's leadership, Board of Trustees and event partners. They agreed that postponing the event was 'the appropriate response to current community circumstances,' the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County said in a release. 'As an institution 'of, for, and with Los Angeles,' our responsibility during challenging times is clear: to serve as a community resource focused on healing and unity, not celebration,' Dr. Lori Bettison-Varga, President and Director of NHMLAC, told People. The event was planned to celebrate the Duchess of Sussex's work championing 'underserved communities.' In 2020, the Suits alum moved to Montecito, California, with Prince Harry and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after the couple stepped back from royal duties. Since then, Meghan has been part of several events across Los Angeles, including the Paley Honors last year. 'We are proud to honor Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno, whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity — especially for underserved communities — aligns with our equity-focused approach to developing science literacy for the next generation, including through our STEM and STEAM Pathways programs,' Dr. Bettison-Varga said in a statement. The event's postponement echoes another rescheduling related to the Duchess of Sussex's ventures. Earlier this year, Meghan postponed the premiere of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan due to the wildfires ravaging LA and other parts of California. She is the host of a show called With Love, Meghan. The show has been renewed for a second season. The Suits star stepped back from acting to marry Prince Harry in 2017. She shares two kids with her husband Prince Harry, Archie and Lilibet.

Karan Johar On Bollywood's Herd Mentality: "After Chhaava And Stree, Everyone Wants To Make Historicals And Horror-Comedies"

New Delhi: Karan Johar recently got candid about how the latest trend of "herd mentality" in Bollywood is plaguing the film industry more than ever. He elaborated by saying that with blockbusters like Chhaava and Stree, everyone wants to now make historicals and horror-comedies, as they seem to have cracked the code to keep the audience interested. He further shared how he wants to focus on individualism. Karan added that he was asked about his universe of films like the trending horror-comedy verse, and he said his verse was cinema itself. What's Happening Karan Johar recently spoke about how everyone in the film industry is trying to copy each other's success stories. Speaking of the ongoing "herd mentality" that seems to be prevalent in the film business, Karan told Bollywood Hungama, "I think it is everybody grappling to do what others are doing. We see Pushpa running and catering so strongly to the tier-2 and tier-3 audiences, and suddenly, we will see 20 others wanting to do the same. You see Chhaava working, everybody would want to make historicals. Stree and everybody wants to make horror comedies. Those worked because they were individually strong, and there was no other option in that genre. It was a unique thought that made those films work." He added, "We all need to have individual thoughts that are unique to ourselves. Someone asked me the other day, 'Do you have a universe?' I was like, 'As in?' They were like, 'A spy universe or a cop universe.' I was like, 'My universe is cinema itself.' I am not here to build universes, I am here to tell stories. In that story if there's a universe, then why not?" Karan's Latest Achievements Karan Johar recently attended the Cannes 2025 Film Festival. Neeraj Ghaywan's film Homebound, which had Karan Johar as one of its producers, premiered in the Un Certain Regard category. The cast featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Vishal Jethwa were also present. In A Nutshell Karan Johar shared his thoughts on Bollywood emulating the tried-and-tested formula of successful films. He spoke about the "herd-mentality" phenomenon where everyone now wants to make horror comedies and historicals after blockbusters like the Stree franchise and recently Chhaava.

Ishaan Khatter Dropped 10 Kilos in 2 Months for 'Homebound': Here's How He Did It

Last Updated: "I lost about 8–10 kilos… to play a 21-22-year-old boy," shared Ishaan Khatter. Ishaan Khatter, who impressed audiences with his chiseled six-pack abs and sculpted physique in the series Royals, recently opened up about the challenge of transforming his body for a very different role. For his upcoming film Homebound, the actor had to shed nearly 10 kilos and strip away his muscle mass to fit the character's look. In a candid conversation with Mashable India, Ishaan revealed, 'After Royals, I had to lose weight for Homebound. In fact, not only weight, when I met the director, he told me to lose all my muscles. 'You have to look normal.' So, it became a disadvantage. I completely understood why he said that. I lost about 8–10 kilos… to play a 21-22-year-old boy," he shared. When it comes to fitness, Ishaan believes in the power of persistence over shortcuts. 'It's consistency. I know it's a boring answer, but it's the truth. Aap lagey raho. Just do enough so that you don't get demotivated by fatigue the next day. Don't push yourself over the edge," he said. He also warned against the pitfalls of extreme approaches, especially those spurred by short-lived motivation. 'People have these bursts of enthusiasm like around New Year where they hit the gym hard and then burn out. But we are made to move. We're designed to move. Just find your own way of doing it."
