Progress on Man United stadium replacement stalls amid land dispute
The proposed £2bn stadium, intended to replace Old Trafford, features a futuristic design with three prominent masts and a large plaza.
However, progress is currently stalled due to an impasse in negotiations with local landowner Freightliner, which is reportedly demanding £400m for land valued by United at £40-50m.
Despite the land dispute, the club remains confident of completing the project within five to six years, with aspirations to host the Women's World Cup final in 2035.
A taskforce chaired by Lord Sebastian Coe estimates that the regeneration project could inject £7.3bn into the British economy and generate 92,000 jobs.

Liverpool are reportedly intent on bringing in defensive cover this summer as they prepare to begin their Premier League title defence.
