CASABLANCA, Morocco: TVS Motor Company (TVSM) – a leading global automaker in the two and three-wheeler segment – today announced its entry into Morocco, in collaboration with its distribution partner Hindi Motors . The company is launching a wide, exciting range of two-wheelers – TVS Ntorq 125, TVS Raider 125 and TVS Apache 160 and 200 in Morocco.
TVSM, globally recognised for its engineering, innovation and quality, will leverage the extensive service and distribution network of MotorSports Maroc, which uses the retail banner of Hindi Motors for its operations in Morocco.

Egypt, Morocco establish a joint committee to boost economic cooperation - Foreign Affairs
Egypt and Morocco will establish a joint coordination committee to boost economic cooperation, which will be chaired by the prime ministers of both countries. The agreement was reached during Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty's current visit to the Kingdom and as part of a series of meetings with senior Moroccan officials and business leaders. A Foreign Ministry statement said the committee will operate under the umbrella of the Higher Joint Committee, chaired by the President of Egypt and His Majesty the King of Morocco. The committee's first session is expected to be held before the end of this year. It will meet regularly, alternating between the two countries. The statement added that the committee will positively impact the strengthening of trade exchange, the flow of mutual investments, and the enhancement of regional trade partnerships. The Ministry stressed that establishing the new committee reflects the political will of both brotherly nations to enhance bilateral cooperation and fulfil the directives of both countries' leaderships to intensify efforts to advance economic, trade, and investment cooperation. According to the statement, it also aims to activate regional institutional frameworks and maximize their potential benefits. During his visit to Morocco, FM Abdelatty also visited the Egyptian Cultural Centre in Rabat, where he toured the centre's library, lecture and seminar hall, and museum. Abdelatty Minister emphasized Egypt's commitment to strengthening cultural ties with Morocco, given the deep historical relations between the two nations.. OPEN// FM says Egypt keen to foster relations with Morocco in various areas
CAIRO, May 29 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said Egypt is keen on fostering relations with Morocco in various fields, lauding the existing coordination and consultation between the two countries. Abdelatty made the remarks during his meeting on Thursday in Rabat with Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami. The top Egyptian diplomat expressed hope for holding the fourth edition of the coordination and consultation Mechanism at the level of foreign ministers. The minister stated Egypt pays great attention to enhancing trade, industrial and investment ties with Morocco and building on the important outcomes of the visit of Egyptian Investment Minister Hassan El Khatib to Morocco in February 2025 and the visit of Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Trade Omar Hejira to Cairo in May 2025, with a view to promoting bilateral trade and establishing successful partnerships between the two countries' private sectors. Abdelatty noted Egyptian companies stand ready to participate in infrastructure projects being carried out in Morocco, in preparation for hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, the foreign minister lauded the effective role of the Moroccan Parliament at the Arab, African, Mediterranean and Latin America levels. In this regard, Abdelatty commended the Moroccan parliamentary diplomacy's part in supporting Arab issues, notably the Palestinian one, in international parliamentary forums. He added the Egyptian Parliament looks forward to exchanging experience with its Moroccan counterpart, especially with regard to issues of common concern. The foreign minister stressed Egypt's keenness to increase the exchange of visits between speakers of the two countries' legislative bodies, highlighting the visit of Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq to Morocco in April 2025. OPEN// FM visits Egyptian Cultural Center in Rabat
CAIRO, May 29 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Thursday visited the headquarters of the Egyptian Cultural Center in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. During the visit, Abdelatty was briefed on activities of the center that aim at strengthening cooperation between Egypt and Morocco, as well as the role of the centers in serving as a bridge of communication between the two brotherly countries.
