Over the years, he has held key leadership roles across iconic properties, consistently demonstrating excellence in cross-functional management, team development, and guest experience enhancement. Most recently, as Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, he spearheaded strategic initiatives, led high-impact brand repositioning efforts, and played a pivotal role in elevating the overall dining experience.
Since joining Conrad Bengaluru, Sunil has focused on enhancing operational cohesion, investing in team development, and identifying opportunities to refine service delivery. His approach is anchored in strategic thinking, strong on-ground presence, and a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations.
Outside of work, Sunil maintains a strong focus on health and overall well-being, believing that physical discipline and mental clarity are essential to effective leadership. Throughout his career, Robinson has combined this client focus with adept skill and a strong passion for creating innovative guest offerings that drive higher occupancy, boost revenue, and enhance long-term asset value. Robinson's extensive experience includes leadership roles with Westin and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he gained deep operational and strategic expertise across international markets, including Egypt, the Caribbean, and the United States. He later founded and led Aparium Hotel Group, developing and managing a portfolio of highly acclaimed independent properties while gaining solid acumen as a business and hotel owner in his own right. Following a successful exit from the venture, he went on to provide advisory services to the owners of independent luxury hotels in the US, specializing in new developments and the creation of pioneering customer concepts. Robinson will report directly to van den Oord and lead day-to-day operations across the Group, with a focus on maintaining execution readiness as the company prepares to manage an expanded portfolio. Golson officially assumed his new role on May 12th, 2025, and will oversee day-to-day operations, team development, and strategic execution as the company continues its rapid growth across enterprise hotel portfolios. Golson brings over a decade of experience in hospitality marketing, analytics, and revenue strategy, most recently serving as Vice President of Digital Marketing & eCommerce at McKibbon Hospitality. In addition to leading performance marketing, distribution, and marketing business intelligence for more than 100 Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG properties, Golson also oversaw the Revenue Management team during a post-COVID restructuring period from March 2020 to May 2021. During this time, he played a key role in realigning commercial strategy, uniting Revenue Management and eCommerce teams, and driving a more accountable, performance-focused culture. Under his leadership, McKibbon's hotel website revenue grew from $56 million in 2012 to over $221 million in 2024, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 12%. His efforts helped transform the company's digital strategy, implement new BI tools, and deliver measurable gains in direct bookings and channel contribution. In addition to his operational role, Golson will help shape the company's product roadmap and partnerships as Cogwheel expands its footprint to incorporate more predictive and prescriptive analytics. His expertise in both hotel digital marketing and revenue management will accelerate breaking down of data silos.
