We asked for your views on Hibs' pulsating extra-time win over Partizan Belgrade to reach the Conference League play-off round. Here are some of your comments:Gary: A bit like Tina Turner, Hibs don't like to do things easy, they like to do things hard!John: I need a lie down. If i was not already grey and balding I would be after last night. What a rollercoaster of a night, team spirt and never-say-die attitude, the boys showed great self belief. As for Kieron Bowie's goal, eat your heart out Brazil.Keith: I'm glad Jordan Smith redeemed himself with some brilliant saves in the second half. Bowie and Josh Mulligan both outstanding, but all in all excellent Hibs who never gave up and ran themselves into the ground. They've made me proud yet again.John: Wowie Bowie, the guy is unplayable, and his special goal gave Hibs belief after losing two despicable goals. Great team effort to make the play-offs.Kev: Unbelievable night at Easter Road. Smith hands them two goals, Bowie scores a goal of a lifetime. Then both teams go toe to toe in a pulsating match which left everyone shattered in the stands. But we are through to the next round. Well done Hibs.Dave: Hibs have ridden their luck in this tie but no one can doubt the character of the group. One of the most exciting nights at Easter Road in years.Sandy: Genius, sheer genius. Bowie has the potential to become one of the truly great centre forwards. Icing on the cake of a team performance filled with passion commitment and promise of much more to come. Even our goalie came good second half and extra time with tie-saving stops. Great time to support the Hibees.

Peter Shilton's all-time football appearance record broken after 28 years

Fluminense goalkeeper Fabio Deivson Lopes Maciel has set a new record for all-time competitive football appearances, breaking a record that has stood for 28 years, the club has said. The Brazilian, who has spent his entire 28-year career in his home nation, has reached 1,391 competitive appearances - one more than the record officially held by former England international Peter Shilton. There has been some uncertainty over exactly how many appearances Shilton racked up, but the Guinness Book of Records has the figure at 1,390. 'It is a great satisfaction to reach this record wearing the shirt of Fluminense, which opened its doors to me,' Fabio was quoted as saying. 'Now it's [time] to continue playing and looking for new achievements with each game.' The 44-year-old was awarded a commemorative plate, painting and a shirt marking his achievement, which he wore during his 1,391st game - a 2-0 win over America de Cali in the Copa Sudamericana. Club president Mario Bittencourt on hand to celebrate the milestone and a video of tributes was played before the match at the Maracana, Fluminense's home ground. Fabio's career spans eras in football: he played in the 1997 Fifa Under-17 World Cup alongside Ronaldinho, while 16 of his current Fluminense teammates were born after he debuted professionally. Fabio joined the club in 2022 and has made 235 appearances for the Rio side, winning the Copa Libertadores the year after he joined and reaching the final of this summer's Club World Cup, where he started all six games. The majority of his record 1,391 appearances came in a 16-year spell at Cruzeiro from 2005 to 2021, where he featured 976 times. He also played 150 times for Vasco da Gama and 30 for Uniao Bandeirante. The veteran also spent a season on loan at Atletico Paranaense but made no appearances there. Unlike Shilton, who picked up 125 international caps, none of Fabio's appearances have come playing for his country. He also holds the record for the most clean sheets in football history, setting a new benchmark of 507 in a 0-0 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns at this year's Club World Cup, overtaking former Italy keeper Gianluigi Buffon in the standings.

Leon Bailey joins Roma on season-long loan deal from Aston Villa

Aston Villa have confirmed winger Leon Bailey has joined Roma on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy. The 28-year-old will join up with the Serie A side who finished fifth in the league last season. Bailey has made 144 appearance for Villa since he signed for the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021. The Jamaica international was a regular starter for Unai Emery's side over his first couple of seasons with the club but saw game time limited in the latter half of last season after suffering an injury. Bailey helped Villa to the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season where he scored and assisted in the last-16 tie against Club Brugge. Bailey becomes the second player from the Premier League to sign for Roma after Brighton striker Evan Ferguson made the move earlier in the window.

Dream night for Crusaders' hat-trick hero Bryden

Crusaders striker Fraser Bryden said he would "go to sleep" with the match ball as his first career hat-trick propelled Crusaders to a 3-1 win at 21-year-old Scot arrived at Seaview from Ayr United in July and took just two minutes to open his account for the club in last week's defeat to Carrick it was a much happier night for the north Belfast side on Tuesday as they came from a goal behind at Clandeboye Park with Bryden to the fore, but it also took two penalty saves from goalkeeper Musa Dibaga to see them home against the Seasiders who finished with nine men."It was an eventful game to say the least," Bryden told BBC Sport NI afterwards."I'm delighted to come away with the three points, which is the most important thing. It's a tough place to come and even better to get my first professional hat-trick, so a happy night. I'm going to tuck it (ball) in and go to sleep with it tonight."That was my second competitive game for the Crues and I'm enjoying so far. Hopefully every game isn't that eventful and we can tighten up defensively and not concede sloppy goals."
