Dylan Dreyer is known for her role as a host on NBC's "Today," but the meteorologist has been in the news herself after a significant announcement about her personal life.
Last week, Dreyer announced that she and her husband Brian Fichera have split after nearly 13 years of being married.
"For many years I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between," she said on Instagram.
"I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you've given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate."
Dreyer's announcement came as a surprise to some, but comments years ago suggest that the split may have been brewing for longer than anticipated.
In a 2022 interview, Dreyer noted that she and her husband communicated mostly through text because of how busy their schedules and jobs were. Fichera is a former NBC cameraman.
'Our schedules mean we don't see each other much, but we text all the time,' Dreyer told TODAY.com.
'Sometimes it's even easier to have an important or deep conversation via text because we get all our thoughts out without being interrupted.'
At the time, Dreyer noted that she and Fichera felt that they could anticipate the other person's tone or intention through text.
'We don't find it impersonal. In fact, just the opposite,' the host said. 'We know each other well enough to understand each other's tone so a lot gets accomplished through texting!'
In her divorce announcement, Dreyer said that she and Fichera intend to focus on co-parenting their three sons "with nothing but love and respect for another."
The meteorologist added that she and her husband began as friends, and that they'll continue to be friends despite the end of their marriage.
Despite the impending divorce announcement, they appeared together last week at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament. Dreyer played in the event and Fichera served as her caddy, and she posted several photos from the event.

Derek Fisher is joining the new broadcast team for the NBA on NBC

This coming season, the NBA will return to NBC after a 23-year hiatus. That means that fans will get to hear that timeless "Roundball Rock" theme song on a regular basis throughout the season. No, Marv Albert and Bob Costas will not be handling broadcasts as they did in the 1990s and early 2000s. But NBC has assembled a solid cast of play-by-play announcers, color commentators and analysts. On Thursday, the network announced that it has added several more talented individuals who are former NBA players to that cast. One of them is Derek Fisher, a guard who won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers alongside the late great Kobe Bryant. Fisher, like Bryant, was a member of that famed 1996 draft class. It took him a little while, but he became a key role player for the Purple and Gold as they won the first three world titles of the 21st century. After two seasons with the Golden State Warriors and one with the Utah Jazz, he returned to the Lakers in 2007 and earned two more rings in 2009 and 2010. Fans remember him for hitting key 3-pointers, especially in the playoffs, and for his grittiness and leadership.

Salma Hayek Pinault Dances Poolside in a Teeny-Tiny White Bikini While Flaunting Her Curves

The actress moved to the beat of Bad Bunny's "Baile INoLVIDABLE" Salma Hayek Pinault is unforgettable in her teeny-tiny white bikini. The actress, 58, celebrated the release of her Sports Illustrated Mexico Swimsuit 2025 cover with a sultry Instagram Reel of herself dancing to Bad Bunny's "Baile INoLVIDABLE." The clip begins with her looking into the camera as she teases, pulling the strings of her bikini bottom open. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! As she pretends to pull them loose, the clip cuts to Hayek Pinault dancing on top of a rooftop overlooking a mountainous backdrop with one hand in the air and the other gently grazing her abs. Her dance moves don't stop as she gets her triangular bikini top adjusted. After that's all done, she continues to move confidently to the sound of the music. At one point in the video, the camera pans closer to Hayek Pinault to show off the assortment of gold chains across her body. Without missing a step, Hayek flips her hair as she dances in place to the music's beat. The clip then cuts to some of the shots that were taken for the magazine. "My cover of @ in now out in Mexico with a special edition 💃🏻🎉🇲🇽 #VIVAMEXICO," Hayek Pinault wrote in the caption of the clip in English and Spanish. It's no surprise that Hayek Pinault is comfortable in a swimsuit, as she made her debut as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl for the American version of the special issue this year. Olivia ''Livvy'' Dunne, Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan also cover the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has always been about more than swimsuits and stunning imagery,' MJ Day, the editor in chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, said of the Mexican actress' first-ever cover. 'It's about creating a platform to capture moments that define our times, celebrating people who are shaping culture, and showcasing beauty on a world stage," she continued. For Hayek Pinault, however, she couldn't believe she was even considered for the honor, as she explained during an appearance on Today in March. "I remember when I was young and hot, I used to look at this magazine," said Hayek Pinault. "I wanted to see who was the new gorgeous model, the new girl of the moment. And it never crossed my mind that I could be on that cover because they didn't look like me." With NFL training camps opening this week, the tight end ended his offseason by sharing several snaps of what he had been up to since the Chiefs were defeated in the Super Bowl this past winter, showing a number of adventures accompanied by his pop culture icon girlfriend. Kelce captioned the post, 'Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯.' Advertisement Among the carousel of photos, one featured Kelce and Swift on vacation with sports journalist Erin Andrews and her husband, ex-NHLer Jarret Stoll, and Prime Video NFL host Charissa Thompson and her partner, Steven Cundari. The summer adventures didn't seem to cut down on his football playing ability, with Chiefs coach Andy Reid lauding Kelce's shape. 'He's svelte right now. He looks like he's 20,' coach Andy Reid told reporters Thursday. 'He's doing a good job and he's in great shape. I'm not sure he didn't come in first on the whole conditioning thing. 'He was right up front. You can see he's been working out. He's worked hard to get to this spot.'
