Eames House Reopens Following Los Angeles Wildfires
While the house, also known as Case Study House #8, narrowly escaped total destruction, it had undergone considerable smoke damage, and as such has been closed for five months for extensive restoration work.
Now, visitors are set to be able to return as usual, but with the added bonus of being able to visit the Eames' studio and personal workspace, which is adjacent to the main living space.
This part of the house, which is adjacent to the main living space, has never before been open to the public, and offers a rare glimpse into the personal, inner workings of Charles and Ray's creative partnership.
It would also, according to grandson Eames Demetrios, be used as an overflow bedroom of sorts when the family came to stay.
'The studio became—sort of functioned as extended living space,' he said in aninterview with Getty, which was recorded in the space. 'Ultimately, Charles and Ray had five grandkids,' he adds. 'If we all came down together, we would stay here. If we were by ourselves, we could stay in the house part.'

Coinciding with the reopening of Eames House, the Eames family is launching the 'Charles & Ray Eames Foundation', which will work to preserve and celebrate their widespread legacy.
'As grandchildren, it has been our honor to ensure that Charles and Ray continue to make a global impact,' said Demetrios, who also serves as the Director of Eames Office, and Chairman of the Charles & Ray Eames Foundation.
'Their work extended far beyond their most recognizable contributions in furniture and architecture – it was philosophy, photography, art, exhibition design, toys, lighting design, architecture. It is our responsibility to ensure those contributions are not lost. This next chapter is about succession planning and looking ahead to future generations.'
Beyond its preservation work, the foundation aims to foster international programmes that encapsulate the spirit of the Eames' design ethos.
'Charles once said,'Eventually everything connects'', said Adrienne Luce, Executive Director of the Charles & Ray Eames Foundation. 'This profound insight guides our Foundation's mission: to forge meaningful connections and ignite curiosity across disciplines, cultures, and generations.'

KevOnStage Roasts Everyone On Set And Shares His Biggest Failure
Source: Paras Griffin / Getty When three comedians walk into a podcast studio, everyone on set gets roasted. Kevin Fredericks, known as KevOnStage, stopped by the She Said It First podcast hosted by comedians Jerrilyn Lake (aka IndeskribeaBULL) and Lynee Monae while on his book tour for an unfiltered conversation with jokes, grief, therapy, and more jokes. Kev takes listeners on a whirlwind ride through his life, career, and the lessons he's learned along the way, all wrapped in his signature humor and authenticity. From laugh-out-loud moments to heartfelt reflections, here's a sneak peek into why this episode is a must-listen. The episode kicks off with an unstoppable energy as the hosts welcome Kev with a church-style intro complete with a side of playful grilling about government names and Southern Black Family traditions. Kev's infectious humor shines as he leans into the bit, setting the tone for an episode filled with laughter and candid moments. Speaking of traditions, Kev has had enough with men saying PAUSE but his defense sounds a little pause-worthy. The whole moment is a hilarious conversation about Black men in therapy, manhood, and doing things we like vs doing things men say they like. One jaw-dropping story that had listeners hooked was about Kev's brother-in-law, who made the unlikely transition from the streets of Decatur to managing logistics for Kev's national comedy tour. With humor and heart, Kev reveals how the skills honed in very different 'business ventures' translated seamlessly to the world of showbiz—minus, of course, the police chases. It's moments like these that highlight Kev's gift for storytelling, blending humor with a deeper message about growth, redemption, and the power of second chances. If you've spent any time online, you know trolls are an unavoidable part of the internet. Lucky for Kev, dealing with them has become an art form. From forehead jokes to ridiculous comments from people who, as the hosts puts it, 'look like a rutabaga,' Kev's secret formula involves a mix of love, humor, and just enough pettiness to keep things entertaining. The hosts also chime in with their own troll encounters, making this segment a brutally honest and laugh-out-loud highlight for anyone navigating the internet today. Despite the jokes, Kev's reflections on faith and failure offer some of the most impactful moments of the episode. Sharing candidly about closing of a business venture that was supposed to become a competitive platform for all things entertainment but turned into a colossal mistake 'My superpower is—I just don't stop.' he says, a sentiment that reveals his unshakable determination and belief in his purpose. Whether it's navigating personal grief or professional setbacks, Kev reminds listeners that every 'L' is a lesson—one that can lead to even bigger wins down the road. This episode of She Said It First with KevOnStage is more than just a podcast; it's a celebration of perseverance, laughter, and finding the funny in every corner of life. Whether it's book tour confessions, therapy revelations, or epic roast battles, Kev brings his authentic, unfiltered self to the mic, leaving listeners both entertained and inspired. If you need a good laugh, some solid advice, or just a reminder to keep going no matter what, this episode is for you. Be sure to tune in on your favorite podcast platform. Trust me, you'll want to hear all the punchlines straight from the man himself! SEE ALSO

Kevin Hart's Gym Workout Goes Viral For All The Wrong Reasons
Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Most workouts don't get the same kind of scrutiny that Kevin Hart's do, but in all fairness, he's posting his fitness sessions to his 176 million followers. But his latest post drew the wrong kind of attention, going viral for all the wrong reasons. Hart was in the gym doing a workout that included deadlifts, squats and clean and presses using what looked like heavy weights. While Hart has always been in great shape, several social media observers had issues with his form. 'These celebrities trainers can't keep getting away with teaching bad form,' one user said. 'As a CrossFit coach for 12 years I need you to come to my gym so we can fix those movement patterns,' another opined. 'Form is bad because of your lack of mobility. You need to work on it or you're going to get hurt . 💯 Be patient with progress,' a user representing a fitness company said. Another was bold in his assessment – 'If you're gonna do these style movements hit up someone who knows HOW to coach them so they can be used to their maximum potential and intent. Not dismissing the knowledge of your trainer, but these are specific movements and need experience to be coached. Feel free to hit me up. 0 publicity on my end. I coach it every single day from newbies to national champions. I just wanna see you moving properly! PS I think I maybe the same size as you. Multi time masters Pan American Champion.' Others criticized his trainer's coaching, saying 'If your trainers most frequently used cue is 'good sh-t' he's not a trainer 🤦♂️.' He was also roasted for only pushing 10-pound plates, with one commenter joking, 'Them the biggest 10lb plates I ever seen.' While many sounded as though they were advertising their services to steer Hart away from his current trainers, others remembered that he did have back surgery in 2019 after a near-fatal car accident in the Hollywood Hills. 'His back was messed up relax who cares he's over 40 he doesn't need to push up a bunch of weight,' a user posted. While you can criticize his fitness program, it's hard to criticize Hart's business acumen. His company, Hartbeat Entertainment, is behind the upcoming WNBA All-Star Weekend's slate of fan events. The Feverfest on July 19, in partnership with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, brings 803 Fresh to kick off a mass line-dancing event. Then comedian Deon Cole and Syd Colson, an Indiana Fever player who hosts the Syd + TP Show will co-host a comedy show and concert with Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, Aida Rodriguez, The Kid LAROI, G-Eazy, and Bia, with DJ D-Nice spinning. The WNBA All-Star Game airs on Saturday, July 19 at 8:30 on ABC, Disney+ and ESPN. SEE ALSO Kevin Hart's Gym Workout Goes Viral For All The Wrong Reasons was originally published on

This Study Predicts Rihanna & A$AP Rocky's Third Baby Name
Source: Sylvain Lefevre / Getty If this new study from VegasInsider is any indication, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky might have another bold baby name on the way. The name 'Rebel' is leading the pack. Read more about the study inside. The entertainment odds site analyzed thousands of song lyrics by the superstar couple to predict what name they might choose for their third child. Using a predictive algorithm and scraping Genius for lyrics, the study assigned betting odds and probabilities to potential baby names that fit the couple's pattern of unique, culturally rich choices. At the top of the list? Rebel — with -120 odds and a 54.5 percent implied probability of being the next addition to the 'R' name legacy. It follows the naming style of the couple's first two sons, RZA (a nod to the Wu-Tang Clan legend) and Riot, another name steeped in musical rebellion and hip-hop culture. 'Rebel' doesn't just carry an edge but it also frequently appears in both Rihanna's and Rocky's lyrics, suggesting a natural synergy between their music and the message they want their family names to represent. According to VegasInsider , the name has the perfect mix of punchiness and cultural significance that the couple has leaned into with their children. Other name contenders include Rogue (+105 odds, 48.8% percent probability), Royal (+220), Rayne (+600), and Ryder (+800), but none seem to hit all the right notes quite like 'Rebel.' A VegasInsider spokesperson explained, 'Rihanna and A$AP Rocky didn't go subtle with their first two baby names. It's clear they favor names that are short, bold, and packed with meaning. 'Rebel' fits the mold — it starts with R, has musical weight, and embraces the same fearless energy we've come to expect from them.' While the couple has yet to confirm a third child or any names, fans and oddsmakers alike are already buzzing about what's next. With 'Rebel' currently leading the odds, it might just be the next iconic addition to the Fenty-Mayers family.
