Khaby Lame self-deports after being detained in Trump's crackdown

TikTok's most watched and followed creator, Khaby Lame, self-deported after being detained by ICE, not even a month after his celebrated attendance at the Met Gala.
Most-followed TikTok creator, Khaby Lame, self- deported after being detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an airport for reportedly overstaying his visa. With 162.3 million followers, Lame's videos accumulate multi-million views, making him one of the most-watched creator globally on the app.
Just a month after attending the Met Gala, Lame reportedly agreed to leave America after being detained in a Las Vegas airport by ICE on June 6.

The 25-year-old, who's real name is Serigne Khabane Lame, was held at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, because he "overstayed the terms of his visa', a spokesperson for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement told the Associated Press. In a statement, ICE added: "Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S".

Lame had arrived in America on April 30 on a temporary visa and attended the Met Gala. It's currently unclear whether Lame returned immediately to his home in Italy, as, on June 10, he shared an Instagram story of himself in São Paulo, Brazil.
Lame's deportation was reportedly orchestrated by none other than Baron Trump's "best friend" and video creator, Bo Loudon. In following suit with Donald Trump's "no mercy" approach, presently asserting dominance in LA via federal law-enforcement, the self-proclaimed "best friend" of the president's son claims that he took Lame's fate into his own hands.
According to The Mirror US, Loudon claims he heard of Lame's overstaying his visa from a "few of his friends" and "business partners," the influencer wished the star "the best of luck," adding that he hoped Lame could return as "a law-abiding citizen".
In a video posted on June 9, Loudon said: "I just called some buddies in the administration, and I've never seen anything happen so quick. They were like, 'We're gonna get right on this'".
Loudon also tweeted: "BREAKING: Far-left ILLEGAL ALIEN TikToker Khaby Lame was just ARRESTED and is now in ICE custody under President Trump. I discovered he was an illegal who overstayed an invalid VISA, evaded taxes, and I personally took action to have him deported. No one is above the law!"

Lame's fans swarmed to socials to share their shock, discussing his detainment by immigration in the comment sections of posts that have nothing to do with the incident.
One fan wrote: "Laws have to be followed wherever you go. No exceptions. Even if you don't agree with them. In any country, you have to follow THEIR laws, not your beliefs, wants, or desires. Hang in there @khaby00 and make it all legal! You are loved by so many!". On another post, a comment read: "Bro ain't deported just winning".
Lame has yet to comment publicly on the incident, however many of his fellow creators have begun to use their social platforms to protest the processing failure as seen of Trump's mass deportation raids in LA and other cities. The Mirror have reached out to Lame's team for comment.

Meet Jackie Apostel, Cruz Beckham's Much Older Girlfriend

When you enter into a family as famous as the Beckhams – comprised of David and Victoria Beckham and their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven – then you also enter a world of fame, fortune and unending attention. Brooklyn's wife of three years, Nicola Peltz Beckham, knows this all too well. As does Cruz's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel. The latter has garnered particular attention because of the couple's age gap. Cruz is 19 years old, a decade younger than Jackie, who is 29. So who is Jackie? And how did she meet Posh and Becks' youngest son? Read on to find out more. She released her EP, The Reformation , in 2020, but announced in an Instagram post two years later that she would no longer be releasing music as an artist. Instead, Jackie wished to focus solely on songwriting and producing. 'My intention was and has never been to become a recording, touring artist,' she wrote. 'I'm a studio rat, I'm a creator, I'm a writer, a producer and an artist in many ways, but releasing the songs we did myself was always just a way of showcasing the tracks.' There is a 10 year age gap between Cruz Beckham and his girlfriend Jackie. It's not clear exactly how the duo first met, but they were first spotted together at Glastonbury festival in June 2024. Wonder Woman's Lynda Carter unleashes woke rant about ICE 'madness' amid LA riots

Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter laid into ICE and stood up for immigrants in a shock social media rant amid the explosive LA riots. The iconic actress, 73, took to Blue Sky on Wednesday to reveal that her grandmother was an undocumented immigrant from Mexico and proclaim 'this madness must stop' as protests and riots continue to engulf the City of Angels. ICE raided Los Angeles last week, pulling people from their jobs and detaining them for deportation - many of whom are American citizens. 'Reminder that I AM LATINA AND PROUD,' her post began. 'I am the product of immigration - my grandmother was undocumented and entered the country from Mexico as a baby. 'My mother was a fierce, gorgeous Latina woman of Mexican and Spanish descent.' In another post she reiterated, 'Immigrants built this country. Apart from people indigenous to the US, we are ALL immigrants. This madness must stop.' Her fans agreed with her, with one aptly summing it up: 'Wonder Woman has spoken. End of discussion.' Many of the other commenters brought up the fact that her post didn't acknowledge the many people who came to the United States as slaves. 'Juneteenth right around the corner, you should delete this,' one person commented. Another commenter expressed, 'Not descendants of slaves or transported criminals. Aside from those exceptions, unless I'm missing something, the rest of us are colonists reaping the rewards of violence done on our behalf.' The chaos in Los Angeles began last Friday when anti-ICE protesters seized on a handful of police raids across the city. Peaceful demonstrations quickly turned into riots that saw downtown businesses looted, a major freeway blocked and vehicles set ablaze. Los Angeles police have made nearly 400 arrests and detentions since Saturday, the vast majority of which were for failing to leave the area at the request of law enforcement, according to the police department. The Wonder Woman star took to Blue Sky to reveal that her grandmother was an undocumented immigrant from Mexico Lynda also posted a second statement about immigrants building the United States 'Reminder that I AM LATINA AND PROUD,' her post began. 'I am the product of immigration - my grandmother was undocumented and entered the country from Mexico as a baby.' Seen here May 19, 2025 There have been a handful of more serious charges, including for assault against police officers and for possession of a Molotov cocktail and a gun. Nine police officers have been hurt, mostly with minor injures. Some were transported to a hospital and released. The LA protests have prompted demonstrators across the country to take to the streets, with anti-ICE protests popping up in more than a dozen major cities. Last month, Lynda was honored by The Paley Center for Media at the gala. She is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wonder Woman television series, which ran from 1975 to 1979. She also returned to the franchise in 2020's Wonder Woman 1984 with Gal Gadot as Diana. She first appeared on screens as Wonder Woman almost five decades ago. Lynda was crowned Miss USA in 1972 but had just $25 in the bank when she landed the part of Wonder Woman in 1975. She continued in the TV role until 1979.
