Woman 'loves' new horse rescued from motorway
A yard owner who helped rescue a horse after it was spotted running across two motorways says "everyone has fallen in love with him".
The loose horse was found by Jade Plummer, who works at Blossom Hill Equestrian centre near Gloucester, on the M32 in Bristol at about 20:00 BST on Thursday.
After seeing the horse, she manoeuvred her car to block traffic from potentially hitting the animal.
Ms Plummer said: "We didn't really think at the time. We just did it because we didn't want the horse to get hurt or people to get hurt."

Ms Plummer said the "worst bit" was when the horse reached the M4 slip road, where cars were travelling fast.
"I had to use my car to get him up and down on to the hard shoulder, that was probably the worst part of it," she said.
Avon and Somerset Police arrived and closed the road so the animal could be captured safely, and Ms Plummer agreed to take care of the horse, who she has now called Dash.
It is still unclear where Dash came from or how he managed to reach the M32.
Since taking him in, a vet has said Dash is four years old.
She said: "But if you were to look at him you would think he is 18 months old. He's quite skinny, you can see his hip bones and you can feel all his ribs."
She added Dash is "a lot brighter in himself" but "he's still got a long way to go".
"At the minute, he won't drink water," she said.
"We're having to feed him certain feeds which are quite hydrating to get as much water into him as possible.
"We're having to syringe water into him regularly to keep him as hydrated as possible."
She added: "He will be a permanent addition. Everyone on the yard has fallen in love with him, he's only been there for a couple of days."
Dash is now in need of vet treatment as he as a range of medical needs such as skin tumours, and Ms Plummer has set up a crowdfunder. It has so far raised more than £1,100.

Police impose dispersal order over car- meet plan
Police have imposed a dispersal order in two towns due to concerns about a large number of cars meeting up. Essex Police has issued the order for Harlow and Epping from 18:00 BST on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday. Recent events have involved vehicles being driven at "excessive speeds" and carrying out "dangerous manoeuvres", the force said. Officers can order people suspected of being involved in the car-meet to leave the area or face arrest, banning them from returning for 48 hours. Officers will be in "key locations across both districts to enforce the order", the force added. Law abiding road users and the public would not be affected by the order, it also said. Pensacola woman accused of using stolen identity to buy Chevrolet Silverado, deputies say
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola woman is accused of using another person's identity to buy a Chevrolet Silverado at an automobile dealership in Escambia County, Florida. Teen arrested in Fairhope shooting Brandi Michelle Neal, 51, is in the Escambia County Jail on several fraud charges and grand theft of a motor vehicle, has learned. She is being held without bond, jail records show. 'She would steal another's identity and try to buy that truck in that innocent person's name without their knowledge,' an Escambia County Sheriff's Office Facebook post said. 'She entered a local dealership and, using the name that's not her own, purchased a bright red Chevrolet Silverado.' According to the ECSO post, after Neal took possession of the truck, an acquaintance of hers later had it. The next day, a private landowner requested that the abandoned truck be towed off the property. 'Ultimately, the truck was reported stolen by fraud and returned to the dealership,' ECSO's post said. Neal then learned that her truck had been recovered and contacted deputies about having it returned to her, still under her false identity, according to ECSO. Deputies ultimately did not return the vehicle to her, and she was taken into custody under the name Brandi Michelle Neal, as stated by the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office stated that she also goes by the name Chyna White (Chyna Whyt) on Facebook. Car plunges into Missouri veterans' hall roof — and it's not the first time this year
Defying the odds, a car flew off a roadway and smashed into the roof of a military veterans hall in Missouri — the second such incident in just three months. The Clay-Ray Veterans Memorial Hall in Excelsior Springs was still repairing its roof from the previous crash in February when a driver suffering a medical emergency went airborne and landed on the same part of the building's roof Wednesday morning. 'Though it might seem like a recurring issue, these are very unique situations,' assured Lt. Ryan Dowdy of the Excelsior Springs Police Department, according to ABC News. Excelsior Springs PD Advertisement The silver vehicle landed front-first into the roof around 7:30 a.m. and went about half-way through, photos show. The crash was violent enough that the car's engine ejected and landed near a flagpole, ABC reported. Miraculously, the driver suffered only minor injuries and was able to walk away from the scene. No charges will be filed, according to police. In the 80 years that the VFW has had that property, this is only the second time this has happened, a rep for the veteran organization said, according to Dowdy. The absurd probability of having such a dramatic incident twice in such a short amount of time has not been lost on the community. Advertisement 'Here we go again! Round #2!' The Clay-Ray Veterans Association, which operates the hall for multiple organizations, posted on Facebook after the crash 4 A car crashed through the same part of the building's roof in February. One community member commenting on the crash online jokingly suggested they put a 'No parking sign' on top of the building. Another man even suggested rebuilding the roof 'with a ramp thing that redirects cars back onto the road. Like a loop-de-loop.' The previous crash involved a police chase involving a 22-year-old registered sex offender with two teenage girls in his car, according to the Excelsior Citizen. The two teenage passengers suffered serious injuries, while the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. That crash caused significant structural damage after it went completely through the roof, forcing the building to shut down. Repairs on those damages had just started when the second car hit. Advertisement The veterans hall held an emergency meeting on Wednesday night to discuss repairs and address the traffic situation that may have led to the crashes, according to the Excelsior Citizen. The building remains closed to the public.
