The one piece of outdated technology Alec Baldwin refuses to give up
Alec Baldwin hasn't fully entered his digital era — at least not with his scheduling habits.
During a sneak peek of 'The Baldwins' April 6 episode, shared exclusively by Parade on Friday, the 67-year-old '30 Rock' alum looks over his upcoming schedule with his assistant.
But viewers might be shocked to learn that, from Baldwin's point of view, there's no app for that.
'One of the funniest things that I tell people about Alec is that Alec insists on using a Microsoft Word calendar template,' Alec Baldwin's wife, Hilaria Baldwin, 41, says in the sneak peek.
'I don't even want to know how long,' she continues, 'but I've been using it every day for the last two-and-a-half years.'
'And it's so funny because we make so many changes every single day,' she adds.
Hilaria Baldwin says she has tried to convince her husband to switch to an online calendar — that way, the changes she makes to his schedule show up automatically and immediately.
'But instead he has to wait until 8:00 p.m. every night for me to send the new Microsoft Word calendar,' she quips.
Sunday's episode will be the seventh installment of 'The Baldwins' since its Feb. 23 premiere.
The reality show gives viewers and fans an 'intimate, behind-the-scenes look into the lives of Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and their seven children,' according to TLC's website.
'This series blends the highs and lows of family life, with the challenges and humor that come while raising a large family in the public eye,' the network adds in the description.
The couple met in February 2011, announced their engagement in April 2012 and tied the knot three months later at the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York, according to Today.
They share seven children together — Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2 — and have eight pets (four cats and four dogs), per Us Weekly.
New episodes of 'The Baldwins' air on TLC every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.
