Wayne Carey's ex posts brutal video mocking him and reveals what she really thinks of his toilet scandal

Daily Mail4 days ago
Kate Neilson, the ex-partner of AFL 'bad boy' Wayne Carey, has brutally mocked his viral toilet tryst video.
On Wednesday, footy great Carey confessed that he was the man in the viral footage that featured him and a woman emerging from a bathroom in a trendy Melbourne bar.
Kate, who was in a fractious four-year relationship with Carey, took to Instagram on Saturday to brutally roast her former flame.
She shared a clip that showed her re-enacting the viral video while on holiday in Italy.
The video showed Kate emerging from a public toilet, covering her face.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
The clip was set to the Bloodhound Gang tune The Bad Touch, while Neilson added another not-so-subtle dig at Carey with a duck emoji - the AFL star's nickname.
Neilson said she hoped the video was merely a misunderstanding.
'It's really too hard to tell what went on. I just hope for the sake of everyone involved there is no truth to it,' she said.
Neilson and Carey's relationship came to a head in 2007, when the premiership winner was accused of smashing a glass into her face as the pair were having dinner at a restaurant in Miami.
He was arrested and charged by police and later pleaded guilty to two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer and one count of resisting arrest with violence.
Neilson decided not to press charges against him over the incident, and Carey was ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, attend classes to manage his anger and alcohol consumption, and pay money to a police charity.
Carey is now in a relationship with Jessica Paulke, and the couple share two children.
Wayne confessed he was the man in the viral video that featured him and a woman emerging from a bathroom.
The North Melbourne premiership winner said he had contacted Victoria Police in an effort to hold those who filmed and distributed the video accountable for their actions.
The footage, which was taken at the Toorak Cellars bar in Armadale in the city's inner south-east, shows Wayne and Kate Aston, 38, a Melbourne marketing and communications executive, walking into view about 20 seconds apart.
A female voice is heard saying 'we've got you on camera' as the woman walks past, before asking 'What's he doing in there?' and remarking, 'She looks embarrassed'.
Wayne and Aston have both lashed out over the video, with the ex-AFL star branding it 's**t shaming' and cyberbullying, and both parties insisting there was no 'tryst' in the toilets.
'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through about 10 different emotions in the last three days,' he said on Sam Newman's You Cannot Be Serious podcast.
'I've gone through disbelief, sadness, anger.
'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy.'
'And you've got two vile, disturbing, probably p**sed women who want to do this to another woman.
'That's all they were doing, they were s**t-shaming another woman.
'If two men had done that they would be raked over hot coals, it would be the biggest story going around.
'But because it's two women doing it to another woman… you don't know what's going on, this other woman has had all sorts of stuff going in her life, I've since found out.
'You talk about vile and disgusting, what they've done and who they have affected by a few sh**s and giggles drinking their chardonnay, sitting up there, doing whatever.
'Once again, I'm not going to name them because that would be as pathetic as what they are. I'll let the law take care of it.'
Meanwhile, Aston has described the dissemination of the clip as 'a deliberate act of bullying'.
She posted a lengthy statement to Instagram Stories on Thursday, revealing she had initially chosen to remain silent to protect her professional reputation and her mental health, but had now come forward to hold those who released the video to account - and to set the record straight.
'Overnight, from footage of me simply exiting a toilet at a bar, I've had my life turned upside down,' she wrote.
'What has happened to me could happen to anyone, and no one should have to go through what I have been put through – the damage, the speculation, the impact on my livelihood, all from the malicious actions of a small few.'
Aston said she fears the impact the video will have on her future, her career - and even her personal relationships.
'At a time when I am navigating my next career move and visibility matters, the personal and professional toll has been immense,' she said.
'Who would want to employ me, date me, be associated with me? What's left now that this has all happened to me?'
The executive indicated she would be taking legal action over the matter.
'Whilst it's only been a matter of days since this incident unfolded, there has been immeasurable damage to my reputation, and my ability to lead a normal life has been adversely affected,' she said.
'These women and others who've provided hateful commentary have put into jeopardy my reputation, and so I've been left with no choice but to try to protect it.
'Two women not known to me have turned my life upside down and I have to set the record straight.'

Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher reveals secrets of show's final EVER episode as soap says goodbye again

NEIGHBOURS legend Alan Fletcher claims fans of the soap will "adore" the final ever episode when it airs in December. The long-running Australian show previously called it a day in 2022 before Amazon MGM Studios intervened and gave it a new lease of life. 5 5 However, it has decided against making more episodes beyond 2025 and soap fans are once again mourning. Alan, who has played Dr Karl Kennedy for 31 years, believes executive producer Jason Herbison has crafted the perfect goodbye though, one which is very different from the last farewell. For its initial swansong, legends of the show's past returned, including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce, delivering a heavy dose of nostalgia. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Alan, 68, says: "He wanted to create episodes that were full of hope and full of community and the strength of community. And he's achieved it immaculately. "And, of course, he could never go anywhere near where we went last time. Now, that's done, that type of episode. So it's been really, really fantastic to work on this last ending. "I know the fans are going to love it. It'll go to air in December and it'll be adored." Having been saved once, fans might be holding out hope that another production company will intervene, but Alan doesn't think it's likely. "It'd be lovely if a TV saviour came along and said, 'oh no, let's keep Neighbours going', but I don't think that's very likely," he says. His feelings towards Neighbours' retirement is very different this time round, with disappointment now replaced by satisfaction. A modern filming style and fresh team reinvigorated the programme and the product was noticeably more refined. "The first time around, I was gutted," he says. "I was gutted for the fans, I was gutted for everyone losing their job, but partly I was gutted because I felt like Neighbours had unfinished business. "And when Amazon bought the show back, suddenly the show was revitalised. It had a new energy, a new crew, and I think it just looked a million times better. We changed the way we shot the show. "So by the time we got to the end this time, I think a lot of us just looked at each other and went, you know, we have just made 400 episodes of the highest quality TV drama that you could do on the budget. "If you think about how many shows are on Netflix that maybe do 16 or 13 shows in a season, we've done a hell of a lot of episodes, and they have been superb. So I just think we felt very proud at the end." While there's plenty of action to air between now and December, Karl's already been at the heart of some dark and challenging plotlines this year. He's fought to save his marriage to wife Susan as well as his health after growing addicted to painkillers, something that Susan's doctor nephew Darcy exploited. "This is what we crave as actors, of course, because it gave, it gave a really great opportunity to explore Karl's flaws," says Alan. "We've all perhaps seen the series Dopesick about who becomes addicted to painkillers and Karl gets stuck in that maelstrom. But he doesn't want to be in it. He actually genuinely believes he's shaken his addiction. 5 "And then, of course, Darcy drugs him in a way by giving him painkillers without him knowing it. Yeah, a great, clever story and a wonderful way to finish up on the show." Alan is currently in the UK and Ireland on a 34-date music tour, playing his honest and occasionally comedic brand of Americana, alongside his band, which includes his wife of 35 years, Jennifer Hansen. Though the music is his sole focus, he's also on the lookout for a UK TV agent that could get him some roles on our shores. "Like a lot of Aussie actors, I would crave to come and work in the UK," he admits. "And I'm looking to try and find myself a UK agent because I think the UK makes some of the best television in the world. "I think in terms of comedy, which I love to be involved in, the Brits are like the Australians. "We do understand satire and so there's incredibly sharp and witty television made here. And in terms of drama, the thing I really love about being in the UK is seeing how older actors, and I put myself in that bracket now, how older actors really get a good run on television and film. And some of the best UK actors, of course, are the older contingents. "You know, you name Judi Dench and so forth and Olivia Colman. It's not something that happens in Australia so much. Generally, the main roles are taken by younger people. So, you know, I'd crave to work here." Before that comes to pass, Alan is on the promo trail for his latest single, Back To School, a poignant ballad on how to nurture a loving relationship. "The title was about what I've learnt in studying philosophy, that love is something you can't take for granted, you have to really look at it," says Alan. "I mean, that's a bit of a cliche, but a lot of people don't spend the time. So it's really saying, let's get back to school and learn how to love. "It's a very musical, laid-back track, and it gets a great reaction from people." Both Alan and Jen went back to school, as it were, when they attended a lecture on love by philosopher Alain de Botton that helped to improve their own relationship. "It was quite transformative for us, because it reminds us that perfect love is a bit of an 18th century creation," says Alan. "And in reality, we all love each other's flaws, rather than trying to change each other. "And once we heard that, and kind of accepted that, and went, 'yes, absolutely, that's what it is'. So now if either one of us in the relationship do something that the other one would normally think is annoying or troublesome, now we look at it and go, 'oh, it's adorable that you do that'. 5 "So just accepting that we are who we are, and trying to change people, mold them to be the perfect human being, is a waste of time." At the tail end of last year Alan also released a classic slice of Americana in Tell 'Em, a duet with Jennifer that tells the tale of lost love. "It really is the first cut, the deepest I suppose, that notion of the first relationship you have and how it kind of never leaves you, even though you break up and move on with your life and you have other loves, there's some little tiny part of you that's still wishes that somehow you've been able to work it out all those years ago. "So essentially just saying, look, I know we'll never be together, but I just think of you all the time, or in flashes." Both tracks will be joining Alan on his tour which is taking place now and runs until September. New photos and videos highlight close ties between Epstein and Trump

Newly uncovered photos and video footage published by CNN show more links between the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump, including Epstein's attendance at Trump's wedding to Marla Maples at the Plaza Hotel in New York in 1993. The media organization said on Wednesday that Epstein's attendance at the wedding ceremony was not widely known. CNN also published footage from 1999 of Trump and Epstein attending a Victoria's Secret fashion event in New York, where they are seen talking and laughing alongside Trump's future wife, Melania Trump. The outlet noted that the newly published material pre-dates any of Epstein's known legal troubles. Another image from the wedding shows Epstein in the background of a group photo of Howard Stern, Alison Stern, Robin Leach and Cecilia Nord. CNN also published photos of Trump and Epstein at the 1993 opening of the Harley-Davidson Cafe in New York, where Trump is seen with his arm around two of his children, Eric and Ivanka, while Epstein stands beside them. When asked for comment by CNN on the newly unearthed videos and photos, Trump reportedly responded: 'You've got to be kidding me.' He then reportedly called CNN 'fake news' and hung up the phone. Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, said in a statement to CNN that the videos and photos were 'nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious'. 'The fact is that the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep,' Cheung added. 'This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media.' The renewed scrutiny of Trump and Epstein's relationship comes after the justice department announced earlier this month that it would not be releasing any additional files related to the Epstein case, despite previous promises from Trump and the US attorney general, Pam Bondi. The decision angered many people, including some Trump supporters and other conservative commentators. Before falling out over a real estate deal in Palm Beach in the mid-2000s, Trump and Epstein were pictured together at social events on multiple occasions over the years. Footage of Trump and Epstein at a party in 1992 published by NBC has been widely circulated over the years, and photos published by the Palm Beach Post also show Trump, Epstein, Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew at a charity fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago in 2000. In a 2002 New York magazine profile of Epstein, Trump was quoted saying: 'I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy … He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.' According to the New York Times, Trump flew on Epstein's jets at least seven times over four years in the 1990s. In the new CNN report on Wednesday, the outlet also reports that in Trump's 2004 book – Trump: How To Get Rich – he referenced receiving a call from a man he called 'the mysterious Jeffrey'. It's unclear if the 'mysterious Jeffrey' is Epstein and CNN said that the White House did not address it in a comment. Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump allegedly sent Epstein a birthday card in 2003 for his 50th birthday, that reportedly featured a drawing of a naked woman and a message that said in part: 'Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.' Trump denied authoring the card and has since sued the Journal. On Friday, the Trump administration asked a federal court to unseal grand jury transcripts related to the Epstein case. And this week it was reported that the justice department is meeting with Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.
