Despite having a positive report, the stock price was flat for the quarter. We used this weakness as an opportunity to increase our position."

United Airlines' and JetBlue's 'Blue Sky' partnership brings loyal flyers reciprocal benefits

Loyal United Airlines and JetBlue flyers have a lot to look forward to with the two carriers' recently announced "Blue Sky" partnership. The new alliance will give United MileagePlus and JetBlue TrueBlue members reciprocal perks when flying — they'll be able to earn and redeem miles on either airline, enjoy status benefits onboard both and buy flights from either carrier's website. United Airlines, whose major Northeast hub is at Newark Liberty International Airport, will also have space at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) as early as 2027. While not all of the specifics have been announced yet, here's what we know so far. On May 29, United Airlines and JetBlue announced Blue Sky, a new initiative aimed at providing their frequent flyers with more travel — and credit card rewards earning/redemption — options. The collaboration brings reciprocal benefits to United MileagePlus and JetBlue TrueBlue members, the airlines' loyalty programs, with changes rumored to go into effect as early as this fall. JetBlue has a significant East Coast presence, which means teaming up with United gives its flyers more access across the U.S. Some of United's main hubs include Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport and Houston Intercontinental Airport. United also has a much larger international network that JetBlue flyers can tap into. For United flyers, the alliance with JetBlue opens up their options when flying along the East Coast or to the Caribbean. They can also now add JFK as an alternative for in and out of New York. With the Blue Sky partnership, JetBlue's TrueBlue members will be able to earn and use points for flights across United's global network, including domestic and international flights. United's MileagePlus customers will be provided the same opportunity for "most" JetBlue flights, with further details hopefully coming in the future. The ability to earn and redeem points across airlines is a big perk, especially for travelers who take advantage of transfer partners where available. JetBlue points can be earned by a handful of credit card issuers, with American Express Membership® Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards® and Citi ThankYou® Rewards all transferring at different ratios. United is a little trickier and only has Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Bilt Rewards Points as transfer partners. This partnership will now likely grant additional ways to indirectly access United's network through transferring points to JetBlue and redeeming via United flights. This could be possible with cards like the American Express® Gold Card or the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, two popular travel cards that you may already have in your wallet. As part of Blue Sky, United and JetBlue will offer flights on one another's websites and mobile apps so you can book on either seamlessly. Both carriers will continue to publish and market flights independently, not a codeshare, however. United will also shift how it provides hotels, rental cars, cruises and vacation booking via its website and mobile apps, moving to services provided by JetBlue's Paisly platform. IDEXX Laboratories (NasdaqGS:IDXX) Launches Catalyst Cortisol Test for Canine Health

IDEXX Laboratories recently introduced its Catalyst® Cortisol Test, an advance in veterinary diagnostics, and reported an earnings growth with a raised revenue guidance for 2025. Furthermore, the company repurchased 930,800 shares, indicating strong financial health. These developments likely supported IDEXX's 22% share price increase over the last quarter. Meanwhile, broader market movements were relatively modest, with indices experiencing slight gains amid optimistic trade discussions between the U.S. and China and positive economic data. IDEXX's performance was possibly bolstered by its innovative launches and solid financials, in line with buoyant market sentiments. We've spotted 1 risk for IDEXX Laboratories you should be aware of. Find companies with promising cash flow potential yet trading below their fair value. The introduction of the Catalyst® Cortisol Test and share repurchase strengthens IDEXX Laboratories' position in veterinary diagnostics, potentially boosting revenue and earnings forecasts through increased diagnostic usage and market expansion. Over the past five years, IDEXX's total shareholder returns increased by 63.06%, including price movements and dividends, reflecting consistent long-term growth despite some market volatilities. In contrast, IDEXX underperformed the US Medical Equipment industry over the past year, which returned 9%. Though the current share price increase in the last quarter aligns with recent innovations and improved guidance, it trades close to the consensus price target of US$496.54. This suggests analysts view the company as nearing fair value. However, continued product innovations and strategic international expansions might influence future market valuations as IDEXX strives to enhance revenue and earnings growth amid potential challenges such as trade tensions and changing clinical visits. Our comprehensive valuation report raises the possibility that IDEXX Laboratories is priced higher than what may be justified by its financials. This article by Simply Wall St is general in nature. Why Planet Labs Stock Shot to the Moon Today

Planet Labs beat earnings last night. The space stock also reported its first-ever quarter of positive free cash flow. Consistently positive FCF remains elusive, and may take another year or two to achieve. 10 stocks we like better than Planet Labs Pbc › Planet Labs (NYSE: PL), a small space stock that owns one of the world's biggest constellations of Earth observation satellites, exploded higher after beating on earnings last night. Heading into the fiscal Q1 2026 earnings report, analysts expected Planet to report a $0.03-per-share adjusted loss on sales of $62.3 million. Instead, it reported $66.3 million in sales and break-even profits. Investors applauded, sending the stock up 52.1% through 1:50 p.m. ET. The $66.3 million set a new quarterly sales record for Planet Labs, and was up 10% year over year, with 97% of the revenue recurring. Gross profit margins expanded from 52% a year ago to 55% this time around. The company still lost money when earnings are calculated according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) -- $0.04 per share -- but Planet's non-GAAP result was a wash at $0.00 earned. Best of all, Planet Labs for the first time ever reported positive free cash flow for a quarter: $8 million. Now the question is: Can Planet Labs keep up the good work? CFO Ashley Johnson thinks so, advising that "We continue to have good visibility to meaningful revenue growth rate acceleration." Fiscal Q2 sales are projected to be about $66 million, roughly flat sequentially, but up about 8% year over year. Earnings are likely to be negative, though, and free cash flow as well. For the full fiscal year, Planet sees sales growing between 9% and 15%, to $265 million or even $280 million. I suspect earnings and free cash flow will still end up negative for the year, but Planet's getting closer to sustainable free cash flow -- and more and more deserving of a buy rating.
