Sharon Osbourne Gives Health Update on Husband Ozzy as He Prepares for Final Show (Exclusive)
The former The Talk host, 72, opened up about how the entire Osbourne family is preparing for Ozzy's last hurrah, while chatting exclusively with Parade amid her supporting artist Tomer Peretz's new exhibit at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles.
🎬 🎬
"He is doing really well," Sharon tells Parade. "He's getting himself prepared for his last show, and I tell you, I never, ever thought that at the time we would actually be able to enjoy our lives without traveling the world and working, and that it would end up like this. Never."
Black Sabbath's final show with Ozzy, 76, is set to take place on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. All profits from the show will be shared equally between Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice. Ozzy previously shared his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in 2020.
Sharon goes on to detail how the Osbourne family will celebrate the monumental moment in Ozzy's career, telling Parade that "the whole family" — including the couple's five grandchildren, Pearl, Andy, Minnie, Maple and Sidney — will take part in the celebrations.
"We are really looking forward to it," Sharon continues, noting that the family spends "a lot of time together" thanks to their proximity to one another.
"We all live near each other, and we are very close," she says, "so [we] see each other nearly every day, and it's a blessing."
Peretz's ART WILL S8T YOU FREE installation is now open at the Museum of Tolerance in L.A. The collection of works, which also features an interactive installation, is an artistic response to the aftermath of the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel, which resulted in the Israel-Hamas war and an uptick in global antisemitism.

Kirsten Dunst Says Son Had ‘Extremely Frightening' Health Scare in Budapest
Kirsten Dunst Says Son Had 'Extremely Frightening' Health Scare in Budapest originally appeared on Parade. Kirsten Dunst revealed she faced an 'extremely frightening' health scare involving her son while she was shooting on location in Budapest, but said 'everyone is fine now.' Dunst, 43, was filming an upcoming movie and her husband, actor Jesse Plemons, and their two sons, Ennis, 7, and James, 4, had traveled with her to live nearby throughout the duration of the shoot. Everything was going fine until James had 'a serious health scare,' and while Dunst didn't go into details about the incident, it was enough to cause Plemons and their sons to head back to Los Angeles so that extended family could help out. 'Final Destination, where you're imagining all the things that could go wrong, worst case scenarios happening to your child,' the Bring It On star said in a new interview with Town & Country published on Wednesday, August 20. 'I have never seen that movie, but I know the concept. That's how it feels to be a mother at times.' Dunst added that the nearly tragic situation brought her and Plemons, 37, 'together as a family in such a deeper way.' Now that everyone is feeling better, the Oscar nominee said that she and Plemons promised to take their sons on vacation 'anywhere James wanted to go,' and they're heading to the Bahamas soon. His one request? 'A beach where his sandcastle won't wash away.' Dunst and Plemons first met on the set of Fargo Season 2 in 2015, but they didn't start dating until the following year. In 2017, Plemons got down on one knee and popped the question, and one year later, they welcomed their first son. James arrived in May 2021, and in July 2022, the couple officially tied the knot. In March 2024, the Interview With a Vampire star opened about her relationship with Plemons and told Texas Monthly he was "one of the kindest humans [she had] ever met.' 'Immediately I felt safe, and he did too,' Dunst said, recalling how she felt when they met. 'I think that sensitivity makes him very astute when it comes to other people.' 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 Kirsten Dunst Says Son Had 'Extremely Frightening' Health Scare in Budapest first appeared on Parade on Aug 20, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 20, 2025, where it first appeared. Judas Priest's Rob Halford Said He Was ‘Curled Up in a Ball' Weeping in Reaction to Ozzy Osbourne's Death
Judas Priest singer Rob Halford revealed in May that he was 'gutted' to miss Ozzy Osbourne's final show with Black Sabbath at July's Back to the Beginning concert. Halford, who, like Ozzy, is from Birmingham, England, was, unfortunately, double-booked on July 5, slated to play a 60th anniversary show with the Scorpions in Hanover, Germany that day. Now, following Osbourne's death on July 22 at age 76 from a heart attack, Halford is opening up about his grief following the loss of the fellow metal icon who meant so much to him. In an interview with Talkin' Rock with Meltdown, Halford, 73, described getting a call on the day Osbourne passed and just losing it. 'I just put the phone down in my hotel room… and I just curled up in a ball and bawled my eyes out for hours,' he said. I still can't believe it now,' Halford added. 'I'm still grieving like so many people.' Halford said Priest had a show the next day and he described struggling to process 'all this tragedy, all this love, because I've never seen such an outpouring of love.' But just like other times when the band had to perform after losing one of their beloved musical compatriots, the show went on and Priest played a tune called 'Giants in the Sky' from the band's 2024 Invincible Shield album about legends that have moved on from this world. The song features the now apropos refrain, 'Homage to the legends/ Till the bitter end/ Leaving such a legacy my friends/ Giants in the sky/ You won't ever die.' During that show, Halford said he referenced Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister, Ronnie James Dio, Janis Joplin, Freddie Mercury and, for that night, Ozzy. 'I said to everybody, this is so much to try and comprehend and so tough. But Ozzy would say 'Let's party. Let's rock and roll. Let's live it up, let's enjoy.' That was in his heart, his soul and his spirit. Whenever we did shows together he would always say to me, 'Did you have a good time?,'' Halford explained. Halford recalled Osbourne's generosity and caring nature, as well as his musical feats with Sabbath and as a solo act. 'He was the embodiment of kindness in that respect,' he said. The leather and studs rocker suggested that we should keep talking about and celebrating Ozzy and his legacy, to get through the grief by thinking about the joy and good times. And, in Priest's case, by continuing to perform Sabbath's 'War Pigs' at the top of their shows. Osbourne died 17 days after playing his final show, where he played a solo set and a reunion gig with the original Sabbath lineup at Birmingham's Villa Park alongside fellow metal legends including Guns N' Roses, Tool, Metallica, Gojira and many more.
