Conor McGregor lists €17,500 wine on Dublin menu as price of own stout leaked
The Dubliner has invested millions in acquiring and renovating the Crumlin boozer, but it has listed the upmarket Petrus 2005 red wine for a mouthwatering €17,500.
In figures first revealed by the Sunday World, McGregor's pub lists bottles of wine ranging from €32 up to €690 before the big gap to the €17,500 price figure, while bottles of champagne are priced between €150 and €780. A quick Google search shows that the Petrus 2005 sells on the open market for around €5,000. The Petrus 2005 retails at around €5,000
The tabloid also says that McGregor sells his own brand Forged Irish Stout for €6 while a Guinness is €6.50 and lagers are €7.30.
McGregor found himself back in the news after three Judges of the Court of Appeal upheld a finding by a jury that he assaulted Ms Hand - whereby they agreed that he raped her in the Beacon Hotel in south Dublin in December 2018. McGregor has been ordered to pay Ms Hand over €2m in legal costs.
Those costs are set to be paid to Nikita as is the balance of a €250,000 in damages awarded to her by the jury at the end of the High Court case last November.
The Irish Mirror understands that Ms Hand is suing McGregor - as well as couple Samantha O'Reilly and Stephen Cummins, who were spectacularly withdrawn as witnesses at the final moment of the fighter's appeal.
In a comment to the Irish Mirror, Nikita's solicitors stated: "We confirm that further proceedings have been issued in the High Court and a Statement of claims has been prepared and will be served imminently."
The Irish Mirror understands the case against McGregor, Ms O'Reilly and Stephen Cummins are for damages for malicious abuse of the process of the court by the Defendants, and each of them, their respective servants and/or agents. She is suing for aggravated and punitive damages as well as costs.

Top BBC presenter accused of showing 'penis picture' to junior staff member
The BBC has reportedly been hit with another scandal, after a top female presenter is alleged to have shown a 'penis picture' to a junior member of staff - leaving them in tears. The star is alleged to have revealed an image of a man's penis on her phone during a casual conversation where she asked the producer if she "liked d*** pics". Insiders claim the star, who is listed among the BBC's 50 highest-paid employees, asked the young staff member an inappropriate question before showing her the picture, reports The Mirror. The young producer was said to have been "horrified and in tears" over the encounter. It is unknown whose private parts were in the picture. Bosses were alerted about the encounter, and the presenter was brought into a private meeting where she was told to apologise for her actions. The crisis has been described as a "ticking time bomb" by staff at the BBC, fearing there could be a widespread fallout if the presenter's identity became public. A source claimed to The Sun: "This incident goes beyond ordinary workplace banter. The staff member felt intimidated and upset, believing the act was meant to shock under the guise of a joke. "There's a sense that if this had involved a male presenter, the repercussions would have been immediate and severe. The fact that it's a woman at the centre of this makes the situation even more striking." The insider claimed the conversation was meant 'to be jokey, locker-room type banter' but it resulted in the young producer crying about it. A BBC spokesperson said: "While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously." The BBC has been hit with a number of scandals in the last year, with the axing of a number of Strictly Come Dancing stars over their behaviour, as well as Gregg Wallace and John Torode being fired from MasterChef in recent weeks. The BBC also came under fire for its coverage of the Glastonbury Festival. This year, Welsh presenter Wynne Evans was axed from his radio job at the BBC over allegations about his conduct. The One Show host Jermaine Jenas was also sacked by the corporation for sending inappropriate messages to two female colleagues. Meanwhile, Huw Edwards pleaded guilty to having indecent images of children and was spared jail when he admitted three charges of 'making' indecent photographs after he was sent 41 illegal images by a convicted paedophile over WhatsApp. The former BBC presenter was handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months. He was also placed on the sex offenders register for seven years. The Mirror have reached out to the BBC for comment. Scorned wives locked in battle over bigamist husband's £1.8m fortune after he secretly married BOTH of them
Accountant wed both women in Vegas chapels just 600m apart WILL ROW Scorned wives locked in battle over bigamist husband's £1.8m fortune after he secretly married BOTH of them TWO wives are locked in a battle over their bigamist husband's £1.8million fortune after he secretly married both of them. Accountant James Dinsdale died of cancer aged 55 in October 2020 - leaving second wife Margaret Dinsdale to sort his affairs. Advertisement 4 Margaret Dinsdale discovered her late husband was already married Credit: Champion News Service 4 He was still married to first wife Victoria Fowell Credit: Supplied by Champion News But the 41-year-old beautician found out James was still legally married to his first wife Victoria Fowell. The discovery meant her marriage was "void" - leaving Dinsdale with no automatic right to inherit the £1.8million fortune. Both women are now battling at the High Court after she claimed she deserved a share of the cash as she married James "in good faith". The court heard James married Fowell - a cosmetic dentist - in 2012 after whisking her off to Las Vegas. Advertisement But the pair never got divorced and he wed Dinsdale five years later at a Vegas chapel just 600m from his first wedding location. Dinsdale's lawyer said she had no clue James was still married and believed the money would be shared between her and her husband's son William under intestacy rules. Jonathan Davey KC added: "She understood the marriage between the deceased and Dr Fowell to have ended some time prior to the relationship between the deceased and the claimant beginning. "We have no idea what James' state of mind was, perhaps he didn't realise he wasn't divorced. Advertisement "Margaret's assertion is that she believed the deceased to be unmarried and already divorced when she married him in good faith." Dinsdale has made a claim for "reasonable provision" from James' estate under the 1975 Inheritance Act, amounting to at least half of his £1.8million. The bid has been brought against both Fowell and James' 28-year-old son William. Mr Davey said James and Dinsdale had a "loving relationship" and that she looked after him "24 hours a day" after he was diagnosed with cancer. Advertisement He added: "She and James had a relatively lavish lifestyle, which was funded by his wealth and she was entirely financially dependent on the deceased," he said. "Dr Fowell and William Dinsdale were not being financially maintained by the deceased at the time of his death." The court heard Dinsdale has already reportedly received £375,000 "from the estate or in sums derived from James" but her lawyer claims the amount is £20,000. High Court judge Master James Brightwell allocated the cash-strapped second wife £50,000 from the estate to help cover her bills and contribute towards hefty lawyers' bills as the case progresses. Advertisement He directed there should now be a future hearing focusing on how James' estate should be divided up between his two wives and son. Under the Inheritance Act, payouts to those treated as a spouse or civil partner are higher than to unmarried partners of a deceased person. 4 James Dinsdale died of cancer in 2020 Credit: Supplied by Champion News 4 Dinsdale has launched a bid at the High Court Credit: Champion News Service
