Al Hilal to resume talks for Angelino after Club World Cup
The negotiations between Roma and Al Hilal for the transfer of the Spanish fullback seemed close to being concluded at the beginning of June, only to then suffer an abrupt slowdown.

The Saudi club, as reported by Il Tempo, wanted the Spanish full-back available for the Club World Cup, but the timing did not allow them to finalize the operation before the start of the tournament.
Now, according to Filippo Biafora, the trail remains hot and contacts between the parties should resume negotiations once the competition in the United States is over.

Bayer Leverkusen agree to sign Claudio Echeverri on loan from Manchester City
Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to sign Argentine attacking midfielder Claudio Echeverri on loan from Manchester City, according to Sky Germany. The 19-year-old, hailed as one of South America's brightest young talents, will join the German side on a season-long loan deal without an option to buy. Echeverri signed for Manchester City from River Plate in January 2024 for a fee of around €14.5 million. He spent the following year on loan at River Plate, where he continued his rise with impressive performances in Argentina's top flight. Following his eventual arrival at Manchester City in early 2025, Echeverri made his debut toward the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season and was a part of City's squad for the Club World Cup. He netted his first goal for the club in a 6-0 thrashing of Al-Ain in June, but has not featured since then due to an ankle injury. Given the competition for places at the Etihad Stadium, City have decided to loan out Echeverri for the upcoming season, which he will now spend at the Bay Arena. Dortmund were previously in the driving seat to land Echeverri on a short-term basis before Leverkusen pulled off a late hijack. Following the departure of Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, Die Schwarzroten need some added creativity as they prepare for their first Bundesliga campaign under Erik ten Hag. Leverkusen made light work of lower league side Großaspach last time out to book their place in the second round of this year's DFB-Pokal. They play their league opener against Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Al-Ahli attempting to sign Fofana from Milan after Locatelli and Zakaria rejection
Tuesday's reports claim that Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are attempting to sign France international Youssouf Fofana from Milan after having bids turned down for Juventus's Manuel Locatelli and ex-Bianconeri midfielder Denis Zakaria. Reports Al-Ahli sounding out move for Milan's Fofana According to reports from various outlets, including Milan have been contacted by intermediaries, who are sounding out a possible move for Fofana on behalf of Al-Ahli. The Saudi side have recently seen bids in the region of €25m turned down for both Locatelli and Zakaria, who are focused on the start of their respective league campaigns with Juventus and Monaco. Tuesday's report indicates that Al-Ahli are prepared to offer a similar fee (€25m) for Fofana, however, there are two main reasons why they are unlikely to strike a deal with Milan. (Photo by) Firstly, Fofana is considered an important first-team player under Massimiliano Allegri, potentially a starter, and the Rossoneri would then be short on time and have little room in the budget to find a replacement before the end of the transfer window. Secondly, Milan are in no particular need to sell any more players this summer, given that they have raised around €200m in player departures already this summer. Fofana himself, meanwhile, has reportedly expressed a desire to stay and fight for titles in San Siro.
