India Vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Match Won't Be Cancelled: Report
Last Updated: The high-voltage Asia Cup 2025 Group A match between India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 14. The Indian men's cricket team will travel to the United Arab Emirates next month to take part in the 2025 edition of the Asia Cup. In the Asia Cup 2025, the Indian men's cricket team will open their campaign on September 10 in Dubai against the UAE and then take on arch-rivals Pakistan in their second Group A on Sunday, September 14. India last played a T20I match against Pakistan on June 9, 2024, in New York during the T20 World Cup 2024. The organisers of the Asia Cup are confident that the India-Pakistan match in Dubai on September 14 will go ahead despite tensions between the two countries. Many fans in India believe that Men in Blue should not play against Pakistan and instead opt out of the game like India Champions players did during the recently concluded World Championship of Legends. But according to Subhan Ahmed, who is the chief operating officer of the Emirates Cricket Board, the same situation is unlikely to occur in the Asia Cup. 'We can't make any guarantees, but comparing the Asia Cup against a private event like the WCL is not a like comparison," Subhan was quoted as saying by The National. 'When decisions to play in the Asia Cup are taken, government permissions are taken in advance. That has definitely been done before arriving at the decision of announcing the schedule for the countries. So hopefully we won't be in a situation as there was at the WCL," he added. In the Asia Cup 2025, India and Pakistan can face each other as many as three times if they qualify for the final. "It's Always Challenging...": Moeen Ali's Mega Statement On Mohammed Siraj's Exploits vs England
Former England cricketer Moeen Ali heaped praise on India's Mohammed Siraj for his remarkable performance in the recently concluded series against England and said the bowler has made big strides towards being a complete bowler in international cricket. The England tour marked one of Siraj's finest outings in Test cricket, topping the wicket-charts with 23 wickets and running throughout the series like a warrior for over 185 overs, undeterred, never tired. While the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah played only three Tests owing to his workload management, it was Siraj who unleashed his 'Miyan Magic' when his beloved 'Jassi Bhai' needed some rest. "Siraj has been outstanding in the England series. The energy, aggression, and consistency he brings with the ball is world-class. He's matured into a genuine match-winner for India, and it's always a challenge for batsmen facing him," stated Moeen Ali to ANI. "What impresses me most is his ability to control the ball. He has got a big heart and never backs down -- that is what makes him so special. Credit to him for the impact he's making," added Ali. Ali has retired from international cricket and is exploring his cricketing abilities in Dubai, where he now resides. With 6,678 runs, eight centuries and 366 wickets in 298 international appearances, Moeen was one of England's biggest match-winners of this generation and recently featured in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) tournament, scoring 43 runs across three innings, but failing to pick up a wicket. "Moeen was a great cricketer and did well in the recent WCL tournament. It was a pleasure to welcome Moeen Ali to our London office. He's not only a world-class sportsman but also a thoughtful individual. We're excited to assist him in finding a property that reflects his taste and values," said Irfan Wahid, CEO of GFS Developments. Moeen, while not playing for England, will continue being active in the T20 league circuit.

Watch: Brett Lee wins hearts by folding hands, saying 'Sat Sri Akaal' to young Sikh fan
Brett Lee greeted a young Sikh fan after Australia Champions' semi-final in the World Championship of Legends. (Screenshots) Australia Champions suffered a heartbreaking one-run defeat against South Africa Champions in the second semi-final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on July 31, despite notable performances from Dan Christian and Peter Siddle. Following the match, captain Brett Lee was seen engaging with fans, including a touching cultural exchange with a young Sikh supporter. Brett Lee, who recorded figures of 1/24 in his three-over spell, was spotted after the game signing jerseys for spectators. During this interaction, a memorable moment occurred when Lee encountered a young India Champions supporter from the Sikh community. Lee demonstrated cultural awareness by joining his hands and saying, "Hi Paaji, Sat Sri Akaal," to which the young fan responded with the same gesture. This exchange highlighted the cross-cultural connections in cricket. The Australian Champions fell short while chasing a target of 187, with Dan Christian remaining unbeaten on 49 off 29 deliveries. Peter Siddle's impressive bowling figures of four wickets were not enough to secure victory for the team. Peter Siddle emerged as the tournament's most successful bowler, claiming 11 wickets in six matches at an economy rate of 7.10, despite Australia Champions' exit from the competition. In the eventual final, South Africa Champions beat Pakistan Champions to lift the trophy at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. Watch Here!
