HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
Shillong Teer is played in two short rounds, each lasting just two minutes. In the first round, skilled archers release 30 arrows at the target, followed by 20 arrows in the second round.
Players place their bets by selecting a number between 0 and 99, aiming to predict the total number of arrows that will hit the target. Tickets are sold at authorised counters in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50.
The prize amount is determined by both the ticket value and the accuracy of the prediction. For instance, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket earns Rs 80, while an accurate prediction in the second round wins Rs 60. Players who successfully predict the results of both rounds can win as much as Rs 4,000 with a Rs 1 ticket.
Alongside Shillong Teer, other popular Teer games include Juwai Teer, Khanapara Teer, Ladrymbai Teer and Night Teer.

FIFPRO Requests AIFF & FSDL To Finalise League Schedule, Ensure Contract Compliance For Footballers
FIFPRO has requested AIFF and FSDL to confirm the Indian Super League schedule to resolve the crisis affecting footballers' contracts. The Fédération Internationale des Associations de Footballeurs Professionnels, the worldwide representative organisation for footballers, has told the All India Football Federation and the Football Sports Development Limited to confirm the Indian Super League schedule and help clubs meet footballers' contractual obligations. Indian football has been stuck in a deadlock over the past four months ever since the Supreme Court asked the federation not to sign any new documents before their constitution was fixed. Club football is going through a crisis because of the uncertainty over the future of India's top-tier ISL and the footballers' body requested the stakeholders to put in a collective effort to tide over the crisis. 'FIFPRO Asia/Oceania is deeply concerned by the escalating uncertainty in Indian professional football and calls for a swift resolution," FIFPRO said in a statement. 'The lack of clarity for players over the 2025/26 Indian Super League season, arising from a dispute over the league's organisation and governance that has led to its indefinite suspension, is having a significant impact on their livelihoods, careers and wellbeing," the statement said. 'The players have been subjected to unilateral and unlawful suspensions of their employment contracts until further notice. These actions represent a direct breach of the players' labour rights and are causing significant distress," the statement added. The Indian Super League clubs last week told the federation that it should take the matter to the Supreme Court. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
