A "Black Swan" sea twister off Sicily caused the yacht to capsize, say reports. Frightening footage emerged of a separate waterspout lashing the Italian coast on the same day the Bayesian sank. A beach in the Basilicata region also showed a twister tear by the sands. Blue skies ominously fade to darkness as it approaches, before holidaymakers run for their lives.

Flood warnings issued as Australia hit with ‘unusual' snow
Eastern Australia has experienced its heaviest snowfall in decades, causing widespread floods, stranded vehicles, and power cuts. Northern New South Wales received up to 40cm of snow, the most since the mid-1980s, and Queensland saw snow for the first time in 10 years. Miriam Bradbury, a meteorologist at Australia's Bureau of Meteorology, said the weather phenomenon was 'unusual' because of the volume and widespread nature of the snow. The New South Wales State Emergency Service responded to over 1,455 incidents, including more than 100 stranded vehicles and damaged buildings.
