Incredible Star Wars themed glamping site that's in the middle of the desert with ‘sand cruisers' and sleeping domes

THIS is a sci-fi glamping experience that lets "Star Wars nerds" live out their film fantasy in a resort that looks like "Luke Skywalker's home planet".
With cave-like houses, sand cruisers, trampolines and a bed covered by a see-through dome, guests can live out their dreams of stepping into the fantasy universe.

The off-grid haven is a three-hour drive outside Las Vegas, in the middle of the Utah desert.
Called Outpost-X, the movie themed resort is well-suited for sci-fi fans as it looks like it's on a Star Wars planet.
What sets Outpost-X apart is its immersive experience. According to guests, the hosts of Outpost-X reach out with a podcast before arrival.
The podcast tells the story of the planet, explains the lay of the land and introduces the characters - which you can dress up as with their cosplay rentals.
On-site, there are ten otherworldly places to spend the night; some are built to look like caves but are all modern inside, with beds, running water, showers, kitchenettes, and central heating.
The Zen domes are designed to make the most of the clear night skies, which is why they're transparent.
Being in the middle of the desert with little air pollution, the starry sky was described as "spectacular" by one guest.
Connected to the dome is what looks like a mirrored box and inside there's a kitchenette, comfy seating area and bathroom.
There's also the beautiful Viking Tent with golden embellishment which is a cosy tent for two. The website even allows booking up the entire complex, although prices for this start from $5000 (£3,650).
On-site there's a communal lounge which has meditation sessions and movies.
You can stay in these six holiday homes from TV & Film

One of the best parts of the resort is the sand cruisers, which are essentially go-karts.
All five sand cruisers are hand-built, each inspired by a different sci-fi movie. There is an audio tour you can listen to while you race around the dried-up lake, or take a self-guided tour of the grounds.
There are also trampolines, a fire pit, and a spa with a mud bath, cold water immersion, hot shower, sauna and hot tub.
The resort opened last June but has had lots of Star Wars enthusiasts stay since then and was fully booked for the first six months.
You don't even need to book an overnight stay as there are day passes available too.
One guest wrote on Tripadvisor: "We were so excited to visit Luke Skywalker's home planet." Another commented that they got the "best pictures" while "driving sand cruisers" at twilight.
Some guests were not completely happy with their stay; one complained that the water was turned off in the early hours of the morning.
Some commented that the project felt "rushed" but still praised it as a "different" and "fun experience".

Johnny Gaudreau's sister opens up on wedding anxiety as she ties the knot one year after ex-NHL star and brother died on eve of her ceremony

Nearly one year on from an unthinkable and devastating family tragedy, Katie Gaudreau got the wedding she should've had last August were it not for a drunk driver. 11 months after the sudden and tragic deaths of NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew, Katie got married to high school sweetheart Devin Joyce in a ceremony in New Jersey. At the end of last August, Johnny and Matthew were riding their bikes the day before Katie was set to be married when they were struck and killed at the ages of 31 and 29 respectively. Both brothers were set to serve as groomsmen in the wedding. Now, Katie and Devin tied the knot at St. Mary's Church in Gloucester City, New Jersey before crossing the Delaware River for a reception at The Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. After the wedding, Katie exclusively opened up to People Magazine about pre-marriage anxiety and how she was able to manage her grief over the loss of her brothers. 'It's hard to put into words how much has shifted and how much I've carried in my heart since last August,' she told the outlet. 'Back then, we were preparing with so much love and excitement. I remember the way John and Matty lit up — how genuinely happy they were to celebrate Devin and me. Their joy was radiant, effortless and contagious.' Katie said she was trying 'so hard to return to that emotional space, to honor the moment as [Johnny and Matthew] would have,' but knew that things would be different without her brothers. 'And I know, deep in my heart, that they would have wanted us to feel love — not just their love — but all of it: the kind that surrounds us, uplifts us and reminds us that we are not alone in any of this,' she explains. 'So today, I hold both the sorrow of their absence and the beauty of their presence. Their love didn't leave.' Devin told the outlet, '[We knew] this wedding would be completely different from what we planned last year — we're missing two of the most important people who should be here with us. It wouldn't be the same, but it would still be a celebration of love — ours and theirs.' Initially, the couple planned to host the reception in Philadelphia at The Lucy - a wedding venue in Center City. However, after re-scheduling due to her brothers' untimely deaths, she couldn't hold the ceremony there. 'I needed something different,' she told the outlet. 'The Lucy was never going to be what my dream wedding was because I was missing two essential pieces of our day.' Instead, the couple picked The Bellevue - which had an attached hotel. After the horrific events of the year prior, that became an important element for Katie. 'I wanted a space where we could all be together the night before — somewhere we could sleep over, wake up together, and just be, without having to leave or be separated,' Katie said, adding, 'I was having a lot of anxiety about everyone leaving the venue after the reception and something happening, so I wanted a space where we would all be together.' To help with the healing, over a dozen vendors donated their services for the ceremony and reception out of the kindness of their hearts. 'This past year has brought the kind of grief that changes you. Many days, the ache of missing them was so deep, it felt hard to breathe. But alongside that pain, there has also been immense and unwavering love,' Katie says. 'It is this love that has carried us through love from our tight-knit community, the hockey family, and from people across the country and even around the world.' She adds, 'It's impossible to describe what it means to feel that kind of support when your world has been shattered. But we felt it. And we still do. Our family will carry that love with us forever.'

Kelly Clarkson FINALLY kicks off Las Vegas residency after angering fans with last-minute cancellation

Kelly Clarkson has officially kicked off her much-awaited Las Vegas residency - just one week after angering fans by canceling shows last minute. The Because Of You songstress, 43 - who had emotionally said she was 'devastated' to postpone the concerts - finally took to the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday. Along with performing hits for the crowd, the star also apologized for canceling the opening two shows of her residency just minutes before showtime. In a TikTok video taken by a concertgoer, Clarkson expressed, 'Man, I'm so sorry if some of y'all had [tickets to] last weekend's shows. 'I'm so sorry. We can't help our bodies sometimes, and that happens, but thank you for showing up. We're so excited.' Kelly also opened up about the inspiration behind her residency and stage setup as she continued to address the audience. The stage was decorated as if she were inside an intimate recording studio - with multiple pictures hanging up on a wall as warm lights shone down on the singer. A band could be seen directly behind Clarkson as well as backup vocalists and green plants scattered around. 'I love being in the studio, and that's where this entire idea came from,' the former American Idol contestant explained. '[I'll] give you a little sneak peek of what we do, and there's nothing like getting in the studio with a bunch of musicians and just vibing with each other. You're feeding off [everyone's] different emotional state, and it's just really cool.' She added, 'We're having a good time as if we're literally in a studio just creating a live record which I'm totally gonna sell this one day because this is my favorite show...' Kelly stunned in a figure-hugging dress that clung to her frame and contained both feathery and dazzling details on the material. Her long locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. The mom-of-two opted for minimal accessories to allow the ensemble to be the main focal point and added a pair of mini silver earrings. Clarkson later had an outfit change and sported a pair of black jeans as well as a short-sleeved, Stevie Nicks shirt. The hem of the pants contained colorful strips of fabric that offered a unique flare to the overall look. Kelly was seen flashing a cheerful smile on stage as she performed for cheering fans and belted out lyrics into a microphone in her hand. It comes just one week after the songstress took to Instagram just 90 minutes before her first scheduled show and explained she was 'devastated' to postpone the concerts following grueling rehearsals. Clarkson penned to her fans in a statement: 'We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans. 'I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's opening at Caesars.' Kelly said that both the 'prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice' and that she wants 'the shows to be perfect for y'all.' She added, 'I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve. 'The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong.' In conclusion, the songstress wrote, 'I can't wait to be back next weekend and show y'all what we've been working on.' Only a few hours before the shock announcement, Clarkson had uploaded behind-the-scenes photos of herself preparing for the residency with the caption, 'TONIGHT!!' Fans were left 'bummed' over the sudden cancelation while others offered words of support to the Because of You singer in the comment section. One penned, 'Totally bummed that we flew all the way to Vegas only to find out that the show was cancelled 1 1/2 hours prior to show time. So so sad!!' and another added, 'I'm outside the doors,' followed by crying face emojis. 'This stinks so bad for people who spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to travel to see these performers,' an Instagram user shared. A fan wrote, 'Understand. Bummed to miss you next weekend but feel better and hopefully I can make it to a fall show :).' The performer announced her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace earlier this year in February. It came after she hosted a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort from 2023-2024. This year's residency had been slated to kick off on Fourth of July followed by another performance the next day. Clarkson still has additional dates set throughout July and August, until she returns to The Colosseum in November. Back in May, the mom-of-two opened up about the residency and discussed what fans could expect from the performances. During an interview on Today, the former American Idol winner said, 'This is totally different for us, how we're doing it. 'It's called Studio Sessions, and the reason for that is I feel like you don't get live anymore - maybe back in the '70s - but you really don't get live what you really feel in the studios.' The talk show host added, 'You fill out the whole stage, like I've hired more musicians, more singers are coming out, we're literally filling out everything. 'There's no tracks at all of any instruments or anything. It's all live. It just feels amazing in the studio, so we wanted to bring that into the setting for everybody, so it's going to be really fun.' The cancellation of the singer's first two shows last week comes amid reports that her future on her Emmy-winning talk show is seemingly up in the air. Her contract with NBC comes to an end in 2026, and Kelly is allegedly considering walking away from her show. Back in March, she notably had a mysterious 10-day absence from the talk show due to a 'private matter.' A source told Page Six in late May, 'This has all been very painful for her. 'The difficulty is that Kelly, like all of us, wants to be liked, and she had to deal with this new moment in her life. She knew she had to step down for a minute.' The insider also alleged, 'She has her priorities, and her family comes first, but I think she's been humbled by the whole situation… what has happened has given her a moment of clarity, I think.'
