'I have little sight but I still keep running'
Jenny Stafford completed her first Parkrun in 2016 and, along with a guide and her guide dog Nan, is planning to participate in the milestone run at Quennevais Sports Centre.
Ms Stafford has retinitis pigmentosa which means she sees very little and is just about able to distinguish daylight from night.
She said: "I couldn't do it without a guide so I'm really appreciative of all of the guides who have been guiding me since my first run and continue to come along and guide me."

Since December 2016, there has been a co-ordinated a rota of about 25 volunteer guides to help Ms Stafford around the 5km (3.1 miles) course.
Ms Stafford said: "I wouldn't be able to get to my 250th run without every one of them who has given up their Saturday morning to come and guide me.
"I have very little sight - I just see bright lights.
"It's all about communication, just talking and telling me about what obstacles there are."
She encouraged anyone else with a sight impairment who might be interested in Parkrun to "come along and have a go".
"You don't need to be super fit to take part in Parkrun, you can walk it at your own pace and there are plenty of friendly people willing to guide," she said.
"I've made some really good friends through Parkrun.
"I wouldn't have been able to get to my 250 without every one of them who has given up their Saturday morning to guide me."

Man Utd 'look like a different team' following win over Bournemouth
Manchester United have won two out of two games in the Premier League Summer Series. The club won 2-1 against West Ham before delivering a convincing 4-1 win over Bournemouth. United played without Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, which could be an indication that the same United players from last season have started to improve under Ruben Amorim. The manager gave his verdict on United's team, and he's optimistic going into his first full season. What did Amorim say about his squad? When asked about the Bournemouth game, Amorim said, "It was a good game. We played with intensity. We were aggressive and that is something that we need to improve from last season." 📲 Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp "We had better possession compared to the last game, so they are listening. Of course, scoring first in the beginning of the games can change the confidence of the team. "We changed some positions and you feel that they know what to do in different positions." United struggled to score in games last season, falling behind in 19 games under Ruben Amorim in the Premier League. Amorim also talked about the defensive side of things, saying, "It was a good test. We controlled quite well the runs of Evanilson and Semenyo one against one. Luke Shaw was also really strong. So it was a good day." On the team as a whole, Amorim said, "It was just a pre-season game but the feeling with the same players, even being a pre-season game, if you look at the same players now playing, it looks like a different team and that is a good sign. "More than the results is the way they are playing. They are playing better also because they are connecting better with each other, not just on the pitch, but off the pitch." Louis Rees-Zammit has announced he will leave the NFL and return to rugby in a stunning announcement. I've decided that this is the best time to make this decision to give myself time to get everything in place for next season. "There's only one thing that's on my mind, that's coming back to rugby and doing what I do best. I can't explain how excited I am!! "There'll be more news to come soon but for now, see you soon rugby fans." Rees-Zammit's move to the NFL came in stunning fashion back in 2024 - with the announcement being made on the day Wales were naming their Six Nations squad. After initially going through the NFL's International Player Pathway, he was signed to the Chiefs - but was ultimately cut after struggling to impress in pre-season. He then joined the Jaguars, spending the entire 2024 season on their practice squad. Having not played at all, he temporarily left the Jaguars - but was soon re-signed as part of their expanded off-season roster. This week saw reports that he had missed training with the Jaguars due to a lower back injury, placing his future in doubt. Recently, he had been training with fellow Wales internationals Liam Williams and Gareth Anscombe. Rees-Zammit had previously hinted at a return to rugby while speaking to TalkSport in June. "International players get probably two to three years to make it in the NFL," he said. So I wanted to do it at a time where I maybe could come back to rugby. "I'm 24 now, probably got one to two more years to try and make it depending on how this year goes. "I'll be 25, 26 when I go back to rugby. I like to think I can still play at the highest level." In his first spell in rugby, Rees-Zammit won 32 caps for Wales - touring South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2021 and playing at the 2023 World Cup in France. The news will come as a boost to new Wales coach Steve Tandy as he starts the job next month.
