This Morning star 'I'm exhausted' after interview branded 'car crash' by viewers
This Morning presenter Craig Doyle was left "exhausted" at the end of his chat with the Real Housewives of London, with viewers taking to social media to comment on the "car crash" interview. Craig and co-host Sian Gibson welcomed the show's cast onto the ITV show, however the interview took a chaotic turn when the stars were asked to introduce themselves.
The cast is made up of six housewives: Jamaican-born designer Karen Loderick-Peace, homemaker Panthea Parker, skincare CEO Amanda Cronin, Australian event planner Juliet Mayhew, cake company founder Nessie Welschinger and American reality star Juliet Angus.
Karen began by introducing herself on the ITV show but after realising that she had delivered her introduction to the wrong camera, she started all over again. "There you go - one for TV, one of the gram," Craig quipped afterwards. It comes after Real Housewives of London release date announced as explosive teaser drops.
After the stars finally introduced themselves, Craig told off one of them for looking at the camera monitors instead of him while he asked a question. "You see, the thing is Real Housewives, I know you're looking at the monitor under the table. Look this way," he said.
"What we do now is we chat and we let the TV do the TV thing. It all works out."
It wasn't long before the Housewives began talking over themselves to answer Craig and Sian's questions. "Listen, I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm exhausted," Craig told them at the end of the chat. "I've enjoyed the chat, good luck with it all, I think it's going to be great fun."
Viewers took to social media to discuss the interview, with one even calling it a "car crash". They wrote: "London Housewives from anywhere but London, apparently. The intro car crash is enough to tell me it's not going to be a programme for me. #ThisMorning."
Another said: "These women do realise that they're on live tv right, those little rehearsed intros were so awful, I felt embarrassed for them! #ThisMorning"
Meanwhile, a third tweeted: "this interview is chaotic, I can imagine the show what is going on like, I live #RHOLDN #ThisMorning."
"This is so awkward and all over the place,this is a shocking watch,these talentless women dont represent london at all," a fourth wrote. "i thought the real house of cheshire was bad but these lots are really awful,where did the get these women from #ThisMorning."
Earlier this week, star Juliet Mayhew spoke out about her feud with co-star Panthea Parker. She told The Mirror that they locked horns over drama that happened before the cameras began rolling.

More than 14,000 Love Island complaints rejected by Ofcom
Ofcom received 14,167 complaints about the ITV reality series, including 24 about spin-off show Love Island: Unseen Bits, with the highest number of complaints coming on July 24, which saw 3,549 complaints relating to alleged bullying behaviour towards contestant Shakira Khan. Other complaints related to further alleged bullying of Khan, as well as fellow contestants Toni Laites, Yasmin Pettet, Meg Moore and Helena Ford, concern over contestants' mental health throughout the series, and Dejon Noel-Williams's behaviour towards Moore. Further complaints were made about the show's producers bringing contestant Megan Forte Clarke back onto the programme after she was dumped from the villa, and alleged race and gender based discrimination. An Ofcom spokesperson said: 'We carefully assessed the complaints we received about this series of Love Island. 'We recognise that emotionally charged or confrontational scenes can upset some viewers. But, in our view, negative behaviour in the villa was not shown in a positive light, and contestants were seen supporting or apologising to each other. 'We also took into account that the format of this reality show is well-established, and viewers would expect to see highs and lows as relationships and friendships are tested.' Love Island's 12th series ran from June 9 to August 4 and was won by Laites and Cach Mercer, while Khan and Harry Cooksley finished as runners-up. The show is presented by Maya Jama and sees contestants move into the show's villa in an attempt to find love and win a £50,000 prize pot. Previous Love Island winners have included Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti, Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, and Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who have since split up. Couples who, despite not winning, remain together include Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack ITV declined to comment on the complaints.

But I can reveal that Paddy and Chris: Road Trippin' has already been parked after its debut series - with no second outing in the pipeline. A TV insider said: 'It certainly wouldn't have helped that just a few weeks before the show began on the Beeb, host Chris was slating the corporation following Freddie Flintoff's horror crash while they were filming Top Gear. 'He said that he'd warned show bosses that someone could be killed or seriously injured on the show claiming producers were devising increasingly 'stupid and dangerous' stunts. 'The timing was not great, but by that stage Road Trippin', which saw Chris reunited with Paddy without Freddie, had already been made and was ready to go out on air.' Paddy has always remained relatively tight-lipped about the Top Gear crash that caused horrific injuries to Freddie in December 2022. Freddie, meanwhile, claimed in his Disney+ documentary that the BBC treated him 'like a piece of meat.' It's understood that the BBC haven't entirely closed the door on doing more shows with Paddy and Chris, though there is nothing on the horizon. Yesterday a Beeb spokesman yesterday confirmed: 'Whilst viewers can enjoy all episodes of Road Tripping on BBC iPlayer now, there are currently no plans for any new episodes at the moment.' THE BBC has confirmed The Celebrity Traitors will air in October, three nights a week for three weeks. It will clash with ITV's new series of Big Brother. A similar show, the BBC's Destination X, is currently beating ITV's The Fortune Hotel with double the ratings.
